Review: Satisfyer Pro Penguin Next Generation

Satisfyer Pro Penguin Next Generation

It has been awhile since I have had a Satisfyer product reviewed on my blog, but they certainly haven’t gone anywhere in all this time. I reviewed the first Satisfyer product, the Satisfyer Pro 2, a year ago now after the huge craze of the very similar Womanizer toys. Back then this suction technology was still a novelty, and the far cheaper Satisfyer Pro 2 made it more accessible than ever before. Personally I adored the toy, and it still remains one of my favourites, coming in at Number 3 in my Top 10 Toys of 2016 lineup. A few months after my review, Satisfyer, riding their wave of success, launched four new toys to sit alongside an upgraded version of the Pro 2. These toys all had different designs and features to allow for variations between the products, as well as some more budget friendly versions, and I was lucky enough to check them out at Sexpo in November. Out of the four toys, the Penguin design was the by far the most popular, with its adorable design winning numerous awards. Where were my reviews of these items? Lost in the mail it seems sadly, as Satisfyer did send me a review box for them that never arrived. But now it’s 2017, and Satisfyer are back with Next Generation versions of all their products. Thanks to Nikki Darling I’ll be reviewing the new Penguin Pro today, and seeing just how far Satisfyer have come since my last review.

Review: Nu Sensuelle Point Bullet

Nu Sensuelle Point

I’ve seen the Nu Sensuelle Point around for awhile, and it has always peaked my interest. If you know your sex toys, you’ll probably notice that while this is essentially just a generic bullet style clit vibrator, it also looks a hell of a lot like the We-Vibe Tango, which just so happens to be one of my all time favourite sex toys. The perks of the Nu Sensuelle Point over the Tango though? Well, it is cheaper, it has more functions, it has a charging stand (instead of the Tango’s frustratingly bad magnetic charger), and it is designed in Australia (you know I love supporting local manufacturers and retailers). Plus, I’ve heard from other bloggers that its vibrations are pretty good too, so it has definitely been on my watch list for review items, especially since I always love to find cheaper and local alternatives to toys for recommendation. So when Femplay, one of my blog sponsors, recently offered me a few toys to review and I noticed the Nu Sensuelle Point on the list, I knew I just had to give it a go.

Review: VeDO Luv Plus Rechargeable Vibrator

VeDO Luv Plus

Last year I got to review some amazing products, that, if it wasn’t for the fact I am a reviewer, I would have never been able to afford. It was, and is, fantastic, but as someone who is considered on the lower end of society in terms of money, I can completely understand how alienating it can feel to readers who are making an effort to try and find good sex toys but can’t actually buy any of the things I review. Cheaper sex toys are just as important as higher end or luxury ones, if not more so, and they can be just as good. In fact the most expensive toys I have ever reviewed, the MysteryVibe Crescendo and O-WAND, I gave bad reviews to. Just because something is expensive doesn’t mean it is any good, and I think that it is our jobs as reviewers to let our readers know this and what better options are out there for them. Cheap but good quality toys that are made from body-safe materials are becoming more common and can provide a great entry-point or even full-fledged toy if you know where to look. So this year I want to start reviewing more budget-friendly toys to provide more accessible options for the majority of my readers. To start this off Peepshow Toys have kindly sent me two VeDO toys that are both under $45 AUD / $35 USD, the Luv Plus Bullet Vibrator and Quaker Anal Vibe, and for this review I will be focusing on the Luv Plus.

Review: Tantus Perfect Plug Plus

Tantus Perfect Plug Plus

My blog started with a butt plug review, and since then I have written a lot of them, including a guide for beginners on how to use them. From that I have been seeking out plugs to recommend to my readers, generally with an emphasis on affordable but still good quality types. For anyone willing to put in a bit of extra money though I have always recommended the Tantus Perfect Plug Kit. Even though I didn’t own it myself, I trust Tantus,,and to me the kit always seemed like the perfect way to start an anal journey. From it you get two very high quality silicone plugs that you know will last you a long time. The first is the Perfect Plug, which is thin, small, and a great way for any beginner to start off, while the other one, the Perfect Plug Plus, maintains a similar shape but is larger and can be used with a bullet vibrator for added stimulation, once you have mastered the smaller one. So, when I was given the opportunity from Tantus awhile ago to review some of their products I knew that it was finally time to try out what I had been recommending, and so, as an already experienced anal toy user, I asked to review the Perfect Plug Plus.

Review: Godemiche Galaxy Ambit

Godemiche Ambit

Have you ever bought something that you couldn’t even begin to justify, you just really needed it? I’m sure we’ve all made such an impulsive and stupid, yet wonderful, decision once in our lives, and mine is definitely the Godemiche Ambit. I’ve had my eye on Godemiche since they started up, a small husband and wife team from the UK who hand-make all of their silicone products. So far their range has been small, offering their signature Adam dildo, a butt plug, a ball gag and The Peg dildo which is finger-like toy designed for anal beginners. They’re all brilliant start-up products, and I doubt it will be long before they expand, especially since they are currently designing a wand attachment dildo for the Doxy Wand as well as an attachment for the new Doxy bullet vibe that was announced at the ETO Show this year. As much as I have wanted to try out their products, I was worried that the girth of the Adam (the only product I was particularly interested in) would be too much for me. That all changed however when the Ambit was announced, a slimmer dildo designed for G-spot stimulation. It looked like the perfect dildo for me, and I was so excited for it I even made a statement about how great it looked for SHE Magazine (pg.62). Of course I couldn’t afford it, but after seeing it made for someone else in Godemiche’s Galaxy colour combination I just couldn’t resist and immediately ordered one.

Review: Tantus Vamp

Tantus Vamp

If I were to pinpoint the most surprising thing I have found out about my body since starting this sex toy journey, it would be that I have a really small vagina. By that, I mean that while I have an average looking one, and have a little above average depth, my vagina’s opening is very small, meaning I have a lot of trouble with above average girth toys. I still hope to one day be a Size Queen (a term used by bloggers who enjoy big toys) like a lot of my other favourite sex toy bloggers and be able to enjoy some of their favourites, but right now that’s not the case, I’m more like a Size Princess at the moment. That is totally ok, everyone is different and it doesn’t really effect me too much. But it is something I didn’t know when purchasing the Tantus Vamp. I don’t see it as a mistake, because it helped me to learn myself, but ultimately it turned a toy I have read many positive reviews on, into something not so positive for me.
