It has been awhile since I have had a Satisfyer product reviewed on my blog, but they certainly haven’t gone anywhere in all this time. I reviewed the first Satisfyer product, the Satisfyer Pro 2, a year ago now after the huge craze of the very similar Womanizer toys. Back then this suction technology was still a novelty, and the far cheaper Satisfyer Pro 2 made it more accessible than ever before. Personally I adored the toy, and it still remains one of my favourites, coming in at Number 3 in my Top 10 Toys of 2016 lineup. A few months after my review, Satisfyer, riding their wave of success, launched four new toys to sit alongside an upgraded version of the Pro 2. These toys all had different designs and features to allow for variations between the products, as well as some more budget friendly versions, and I was lucky enough to check them out at Sexpo in November. Out of the four toys, the Penguin design was the by far the most popular, with its adorable design winning numerous awards. Where were my reviews of these items? Lost in the mail it seems sadly, as Satisfyer did send me a review box for them that never arrived. But now it’s 2017, and Satisfyer are back with Next Generation versions of all their products. Thanks to Nikki Darling I’ll be reviewing the new Pro Penguin today, and seeing just how far Satisfyer have come since my last review.
Review: Vibease Esthesia
If I had to name one of my favourite and most unique reviews this year then the Vibease clitoral vibrator would surely come up. I had no idea what it would be like and was more than a little cynical about its erotic audio books, but it didn’t take me long to fall in love with it. While it had its faults, namely being difficult to use without its phone app, overall I gave it a good review. After publishing it I was once again contacted by Vibease, who were pleased with the review and offered to send me their only other product, the Esthesia. This toy is essentially the same as the Vibease and is also designed for use alongside their phone app, however rather than being a clit vibe it’s a rabbit vibrator. While I have now tried two dual stimulation vibrators, the MysteryVibe Crescendo and SenseMax SenseVibe, this is the first one that actually features the traditional shape of the rabbit vibrator (without the actual rabbit), so I guess technically this is my first one! Due to this and my love for the Vibease, I have been very excited to try out the Esthesia and write this review.
Review: Nu Sensuelle Point Bullet
I’ve seen the Nu Sensuelle Point around for awhile, and it has always peaked my interest. If you know your sex toys, you’ll probably notice that while this is essentially just a generic bullet style clit vibrator, it also looks a hell of a lot like the We-Vibe Tango, which just so happens to be one of my all time favourite sex toys. The perks of the Nu Sensuelle Point over the Tango though? Well, it is cheaper, it has more functions, it has a charging stand (instead of the Tango’s frustratingly bad magnetic charger), and it is designed in Australia (you know I love supporting local manufacturers and retailers). Plus, I’ve heard from other bloggers that its vibrations are pretty good too, so it has definitely been on my watch list for review items, especially since I always love to find cheaper and local alternatives to toys for recommendation. So when Femplay, one of my blog sponsors, recently offered me a few toys to review and I noticed the Nu Sensuelle Point on the list, I knew I just had to give it a go.
Review: Tantus Vamp Super Soft
For avid readers of my blog, you might recall the Tantus Vamp from my earlier review of it back in March last year. That review is one of my favourites, because I always felt like it was a turning point both for my blog and for my body. When I first purchased the Vamp I had no idea about any limitations I may have in my ability to enjoy sex toys. I was just starting out as a blogger, and I happily added the Vamp to my shopping cart during a sale of Tantus’s grab bags. Little did I know, that it would actually be too large in girth for my vagina to comfortably accommodate. I tried many times to be able to use it, as I had heard such great feedback from my fellow bloggers, until eventually I admitted defeat, and decided large toys just weren’t for me. I have come to accept that now, and it is one of the traits that makes my blog a little bit different from others. But I always wished I could enjoy the Tantus Vamp like so many others had. So, you only can imagine my excitement when I heard Tantus were releasing a new version of the Vamp, in their Super Soft silicone formula. It was a dream come true, and I quickly set my heart upon owning one. Thankfully, Peepshow Toys were kind enough to send one my way for review.
Review: Dame Fin
I love seeing sex toys being talked about in the mainstream media, and if there is one company that is superb at getting attention from media that would usually see sex toys as taboo, it is Dame Products. It’s no surprise, their branding is that of a minimalist and trendy gadget start-up for millennials rather than a sex toy, and quite frankly it is refreshing to see. Their second product Fin, that I am reviewing today, broke records as the first ever sex toy campaign on Kickstarter, and brought in almost $400,000 worth of pledges, despite only having a $50,000 goal. This immediately told me that this toy was going to be a big deal. Since I never tried their first product, Eva, which had a similar crowdfunding success, I wasn’t sure exactly what to expect. But I did remember hearing that it wasn’t all that great. The Fin’s Kickstarter video looked so good though that I truly believed it would finally cement Dame as a quality sex toy manufacturer. But, then I read this interview, where the product designer states their ‘research‘ of sex toys is based on their purchases from Amazon…. and it all went downhill from there.
Review: L’amourose Prism V
Even though I am a sex toy reviewer and it might seem like I can get whatever toy I want there is still a bunch that I desperately desire but have never had the opportunity to review, and up until now this particular toy has been at the top of that list. Even though I had never tried any products from them before, L’amourose is one of my favourite luxury sex toy manufacturers. I hear constant praise for their products and customer service, and I love the designs they come out with. A few times I have had the opportunity to review L’amourose, and so after much research I decided that the Prism V was the toy I wanted most, however all those times ultimately fell through. But when JOUJOU recently approached me and asked if I wanted to review something for them I was overjoyed when I saw they stocked the L’amourose Prism V and requested it straight away.
