The recent rise of grinders has caused quite a conundrum for sex toy retailers. Popularised by independent manufacturers, and typically featuring a fantasy twist, these products are not the sort of thing bigger retailers usually stock. Plus, because of their hand-made nature, most don’t have the ability to vibrate, at least not without an external bullet. And since many retailers only sell vibrating toys (or those that offer another form of electronic stimulation), because that’s generally what consumers want, it has meant looking for alternatives to meet the current demand. In the past I reviewed one such grinder-vibrator hybrid, the Vibe Pad, and now today I am doing it all over again for Eden Fantasys’ new Vibro Ride!

If you’ve spent much time on my blog, you’ll likely know that my two favourite types of pleasure products are, without question, air pressure wave toys and wand massagers. Nothing even comes close to comparing to these, and whilst they have a shared focus on the clitoris, they otherwise couldn’t be more different. I’ve tested hundreds of sex toys at this point, so unless a product is truly innovative, like the Snail Vibe or the first suction toys, chances are I’ve already got one or more hidden away somewhere. Because of this, it’s usually the small things that catch my interest when I’m looking at products to review, rather than the toy itself. Exciting new features, such as WOW Tech’s Smart Silence and advanced phone app functions, are easier to come by than someone literally inventing an original sex toy, and one such feature that I’ve been dying to see on a vibrator for awhile now is a proper LED screen. From phones to air fryers, it feels like everything has some form of electronic display screen these days… except for sex toys. But if anyone was going to do it, it was ZALO.

When I talk about custom sex toys, usually I’m referring to dildos designed by independent makers who allow you to choose your own colours, and if you’re lucky, maybe even the density. I suppose if you really wanted to fully customise your toy, you could get in touch with a store and try to organise a quote for something one-of-a-kind, but it is definitely not the norm, nor is it always an option. But that’s exactly where newcomer Freely comes in, who are looking to change all that. Because for the very first time, they’re offering truly custom sex toys that are both accessible and permanently available. While the Canadian small business does feature a small collection of their own semi-customisable designs, as well as influencer collaborations, the thing that makes this brand really special is their online 3D builder, which allows you to fully design your very own silicone dildo from scratch. Of course, I was over the moon when they approached me to try my hand at it, and quickly got to work planning my dream toy.

Anal August may be over, but that doesn’t mean the love for this form of play has to end! After all, without anal toys I might not be here, with my blog starting out primarily reviewing butt plugs, and my Beginner’s Guide still being one of the most popular posts at Princess Previews. Plus, today’s review isn’t on any old butt plug, but a toy I’ve been after ever since it was originally announced back in 2017. We-Vibe are the makers of many of my favourite sex toys, from the Tango X and Touch X, to the Nova 2 and Melt, and their beginner’s friendly and app-compatible Ditto was another success that I just never got round to trying. So when Lovehoney Group (who recently acquired We-Vibe) reached out to let me know they’d be releasing an upgraded version, the Ditto+, this August, I couldn’t have said yes to a review faster.

The world of crystals and harnessing their energy for healing and meditation is a truly fascinating one. I’ve tried a few sex toys now that make use of this unique material, and learning about their different properties and how they can bring positive change to your life is just as mesmerising as actually using them. But alas, despite my interest and efforts, I don’t know how much I find myself truly understanding these things beyond reading about them. Instead, I mostly just think crystals look pretty, and that’s okay too. So when Wands of Lust Co recently approached me about sending another of their products, I knew I wanted to go in a totally different direction visually than my previous review on their Aphrodite.
