The best thing about giveaways is it gives me the opportunity to connect with you, my readers, and find out exactly what sort of content you want to see here. One thing that often comes up a lot is for reviews of more kink-orientated sex toys, as these are generally products not covered by the mainstream reviewers. Now, I am definitely not the most kinky person out there, and if not for my affinity with sex toys then I’d go so far as to say that I am pretty vanilla. But, while I may not be as qualified to discuss these items as a true kinkster, I don’t see why I can’t still review them from my own perspective. After all, you folks clearly want to hear about them and there is definitely a gap in the market for these sorts of reviews! Who knows, perhaps I’ll awaken a hidden fetish I never knew I had? To go about this I’ve acquired a few items from the recent collaboration by Doc Johnson and Kink.com, and today I’ll be starting by reviewing their Drencher.
Product Description
I wanted to start this year with something special, and what better way to do that than with a review of the most expensive sex toy I own! The Drencher is part of Doc Johnson’s KINK line of toys, in which they teamed up with popular porn site Kink.com to create a range of high quality and luxury fetish items that are suitable for both beginners and more experienced kink users. The line is filled to the brim with fantastic products to get any kinkster excited, from leather bondage gear to silicone fists, although the high quality nature of the items does mean they aren’t cheap. The most expensive sex toy in the range is the Drencher itself, and so I feel very lucky to be reviewing it. While you can just use it as a dildo, the Drencher is intended for those interested in the watersports kink, as it is able to squirt out liquid from its tip.
The KINK by Doc Johnson Drencher is a big toy. Coming in at 25.4cm / 10” in length (with 20.32cm / 8” of that being insertable), with a 5.4cm / 2.1” diameter, there is no point in me even attempting to get this thing inside myself. I’m sure those who appreciate larger toys will be happy however, as its stunning detail looks like it would feel absolutely amazing in use. Its silicone material means it is body safe, and while it is fairly firm it does have some slight squish to it, which I find makes it feel quite realistic. This realism is then further added to by the incredibly detailed veins, pronounced head, skin pores, and testicles. As with the rest of the KINK range, this toy only comes in black, which is the only element that takes away from the realism (perhaps other than the size). While it’s a shame I can’t test this toy internally, it thankfully has a lot of other fun features. A 45cm / 17.7” tube is permanently connected at the bottom of it, which you can attach a refillable plastic syringe to and squirt whatever liquid you want through the tip of the toy. A tube of synthetic urine is included for this purpose, but Doc Johnson also recommend water, water-based lubricant, or something “more special”. On the base of the toy is a Vac-U-Lock hole, meaning this toy is compatible with the Vac-U-Lock range, and as such a Vac-U-Lock suction cup is included. This toy is anal safe, and is designed to work with O-ring and Vac-U-Lock harnesses.
Packaging
I received this toy from Synergy Magazine to review it for them back in 2017, and have been meaning to post a full review here at the blog ever since. The packaging for the product is quite nice, being in a very sturdy cardboard box which features pictures and information on the product. It’s certainly not discreet or luxurious, but it does its job while also giving you plenty of information to base your purchasing decisions off of (including all the product dimensions, which I rarely see on packaging). I particularly like that inside the initial cardboard box is a thicker section of card which can be removed, thus taking the contents of the box with it. This is very convenient, as there is a lot in the box and the toy is quite heavy (700g / 1.5lb), so getting it all out otherwise would be fairly difficult. The Drencher comes with its Vac-U-Lock suction cup, a small 5g bag of Vac-U-Powder (which is just corn flour / starch), a 2 fl. oz. / 59 mL tube of Drench “Tropical-Flavoured Piss” (which is vegan friendly, and paraben- and glycerin-free), and the plastic syringe.
Vac-U-Lock
This is my first time receiving a toy that is Vac-U-Lock compatible, a type of universal attachment system that some toys feature, which allows them to work with a variety of products, such as sex machines and special harnesses. I’ve heard a lot about this system in the past, so I was pretty excited to try out the suction cup attachment. Of course this meant that in my enthusiasm and haste to try it out I forgot about the Vac-U-Powder… which was a big mistake. So my advice to you, despite how obvious it might sound, is always use the powder (especially since it’s just corn starch, which I always have in my pantry anyway). After this mistake I was eventually able to remove the attachment, but it wasn’t easy. During later tests with the powder it still took a lot of effort to remove (it is intended as a vacuum lock after all) but it was far easier than without.
The Syringe
While I am not interested in watersports personally, I can see the appeal of it and I was excited to try it out with this toy. I think if you had an interest in golden showers but wanted to try it out in a safe environment or by yourself to begin with then this toy would be absolutely perfect for that. Alternatively, if you already feel sure of your kink, it would just be a great way to replicate the experience with a sex toy. It’s all extremely easy to use too, which I was very happy to find. You can fill up the syringe very easily with whatever liquid you fancy (if using lubricant though Doc Johnson does recommend having it be water-based, to avoid the toy’s silicone being affected) and then attach it to the tube that is connected to the toy. The length of the tube then means that you can easily have the product a small distance away from you, so you can comfortably control it whilst, for example, having the product suction-cupped to the wall above you while you are on your knees.
Suction Cup
I don’t use suction cups very often as I’m not into using my toys in this way, but for this a suction cup is pretty much essential for solo play, as it’s far too heavy to hold above yourself and squirt at the same time. Once applied to a surface I find it is very strongly attached and doesn’t feel like it is going anywhere, however after 5-10 seconds of being left to hang, I’ve found the suction generally fails and the toy falls. I don’t have enough experience with suction cups to understand this, but I would say it’s probably due to the toy’s weight. This has become a source of incredible frustration, as what typically happens is that I suction cup it to the wall, go to fill up the syringe to start using the squirting function, and then whilst filling this up it falls down and knocks all the liquid out. Not only does this make it hard to use and fill, but if you are under the toy when it falls then this can be quite painful as it is fairly heavy. My recommendation if using it in this way would definitely be to find other ways to support the toy, to ensure it doesn’t fall and ruin your experience.
My Experience
Primarily to test this toy I have used water since I have an unlimited supply of this, and I find it works really well. Having it be warm or hot in particular really helps to add to the illusion that it is urine. As for the artificial urine, I find that its ‘tropical’ flavour is very overwhelming and has a sickly sweet pineapple juice smell that doesn’t equal pee in my mind. However, I know that some people like to drink pineapple juice prior to their golden showers, so if that’s you then this might be perfect. Unfortunately there isn’t really much of it though, so you aren’t going to get many uses out of this. As for using water-based lubricant, I find this doesn’t work as well as the thicker consistency has more trouble travelling through the tube, although this really depends on the lubricant you are using, as obviously the thinner it is the better it will work. I also find lubricant to do a better job at replicating semen than urine, which is a great alternative way to use the squirting function of this toy if watersports isn’t your thing.
Cleaning & Care
Cleaning everything in this set is pretty simple. If you’ve just been using water, lube or the artificial urine then you can just wipe everything down with either water or just some soap and water, and if you’ve been using actual urine then you might want to give everything a much more thorough clean with soap. If you’ve used anything other than water in the tube I would definitely recommend squirting water through it a few times after each use so that it gets cleaned out. Then if you’ve been using the dildo internally ensure you are cleaning it after each use with warm soapy water. As the texture on the toy is so detailed, you may also want to use a toothbrush or other cleaning brush to ensure it is cleaned thoroughly. If you want to sterilise it, which is good to do as a more thorough type of clean every now and then, as well as if you are swapping the toy between partners or orifices, you can do this by boiling it for three minutes, but be careful to not get the plastic tube in the water. Since the silicone for this toy attracts dust like there’s no tomorrow, I’d definitely also recommend giving it a quick clean before each use as well. I’d recommend only using water-based lubricant with this product, or performing a spot test before using alternative lubricants.
Final Thoughts
The KINK by Doc Johnson Drencher really is a brilliant sex toy for anyone wanting to experience a golden shower. Every little detail has been thought out, and the quality of everything is just top notch. When Doc Johnson and Kink.com stated they wanted to make high-quality products for kink practitioners as well as new initiates they really meant it, and this theme certainly continues with all of the items I have tried from them. The only let down to the product was its included suction cup, but thankfully things like tape can help further support this, plus as it is Vac-U-Lock compatible there are many other stronger suction cups you can buy to upgrade the product instead of using the weaker included version. While I didn’t find my own watersports kink awakened from using this, and it was a shame I couldn’t use it internally, I still had a lot of fun trying it out and I am happy it is part of my collection. Plus, if you don’t think a golden shower is really your thing, you can easily switch this out for lube to instead experience your cream pie and bukakke fantasies. The biggest downside to this toy is its price tag, but for the level of quality in this set I do believe it is a somewhat fair.
Sadly, the KINK by Doc Johnson Drencher has now been discontinued.

Great
A fantastic toy to explore your watersports fantasies, the only downsides to it being its suction cup and price tag.

One correction – this one is not circumcised. Just look at the frenulum, circumcised ones does not have it, too.
Good point! I need to brush up on my dicks, haha! Thanks for correcting me, I’ll update the review :)
