Review: We-Vibe Wish

I’m a big We-Vibe fan. My Tango is a must-have during PIV sex, and no other bullet vibrator I have tried has even come close to its power. It transforms even the most boring of dildos into amazing orgasms, and while I don’t talk about it as often, its sister toy, the We-Vibe Touch, is also a brilliant and powerful toy. We-Vibe have released, to hugely positive reviews, a few new products last year, but they were primarily internal vibrators and as this isn’t really my thing I didn’t pursue reviewing them. More recently however the We-Vibe Wish was announced, We-Vibe’s brand new clitoral vibrator, and just on those words I was sold, after all their other two are the best in my toybox. Then I saw its adorable soft silicone design and gorgeous blue colour and I needed one immediately. The awesome guys over at Peepshow Toys were kind enough to hook me up with one for review, and here we are.

Top New Sex Toys I Want In 2017

Alright, so March might be a little late to write about what toys I am most excited for this year, but I think we can all agree that 2017 is going pretty damn fast! Plus, I was clearly just waiting to hear more about what’s coming out this year rather than just being too lazy to write this any earlier. Basically each year brings about the chances for more ridiculously crappy sex toys to be brought into the world, and, by contrast, more amazingly fantastic sex toys. In these crazy and often emotionally draining times we live in right now, good sex toys are becoming more important than ever and I have my fingers crossed that this’ll be a good year for the industry despite everything. So in this post I want to take a look at some of my favourite toys that came out in 2016 and early 2017 that I haven’t had the chance to try out yet, as well as toys that have been announced but currently aren’t available for purchase.

Review: Geeky Sex Toys R2-V2 Wand

In January I got the pleasure of reviewing Geeky Sex Toy’s fabulous Laser Sword dildo, which is based on a Lightsaber out of the Star Wars universe as part of their Star Toys range. I was so pleased to see my geeky reader’s reactions to such a unique toy, especially since, as my review states, it is far more than just a novelty piece for the Star Wars lover, but instead a great quality dildo that can stand up on its own against the rest of my collection. So this month I’m excited to be reviewing their R2-V2 Vibrating Wand which is part of the same Star Toys range. This toy, if you couldn’t tell straight away, is based off the loveable character R2-D2 from the Star Wars series and when I first saw it I literally lol’d. I’m a big wand massager fan and they are the most used toys in my collection, so this was a product I needed to have. I was lucky enough for the wonderful guys over at from Geeky Sex Toys to hook me up to help fuel my obsession of their products.

Review: Cloudnine Hummingbird Mini

At Sexpo this year I was on the look out for the best from Australia’s retailers and manufacturers. You can read more about what I came across in my wrap-up post of the event, but some of the toys that piqued my interest the most were over at the Cloudnine Adult Concepts stand. On show they had their two flagship creations, the Hummingbird and Hummingbird Mini. Why did these interest me so much? Because I love wand massagers, and seeing one had been created by an Australian manufacturer filled me with joy. I was also incredibly pleased to see that these had been made with 100% body safe silicone and trying them out at the show they seemed quite sturdy and had some reasonable vibrations. Getting home from the convention I emailed Cloudnine to let them know of my support and they were kind enough to email back offering to let me review their Hummingbird Mini, as well as three wand attachments for it.

Review: New York Toy Collective Ellis

In the sex toy industry, and as with most industries, there are the large brand name companies with huge product ranges and luxury packaging that can be found at practically every store, and then there are the smaller independent manufacturers who hand-make their products and focus on quality over quantity. Both are good and I think a mix of these two styles are important, especially since it is usually the larger companies who can afford to create more entry-level priced collections. However, I have so much more respect for the little guys who put so much love and care into each of their pieces, and basically put their financial (and sometimes personal) lives at risk just to help create great quality sex toys for us all. I want to support these sorts of companies as much as I can, but unfortunately they can be hard to access here in Australia when none of the larger retailers want to stock them. So this is why when I found The Slinky Minx, and was given the opportunity to review the New York Toy Collective Ellis, that I was so ridiculously overjoyed.
