My first experience with OVO was at a sex convention last year. Among a sea of hot pink jelly dildos (as with all Australian sex conventions), their minimalist stall was a beautiful breath of fresh air, with their huge range of white and pastel coloured body-safe silicone sex toys. The majority of their range is internal vibrators such as rabbits, but they also sell clitoral vibes, kegel exercisers and cock rings. Plus, while they are a luxury style brand, their products are generally very reasonably priced. Sadly I wasn’t able to purchase any OVO products that day, but I have kept them in mind ever since and so was very excited when contacted by OVO for a review. While I love the look of their rabbits, I decided to try out their new couples vibrator, the OVO R1, for something a little different and to surprise my partner.
Review: Jopen Key Comet Wand
I’ve recently concluded that my sex toy collection had been lacking a certain something: G-spot simulators. I have a few toys, particularly dildos (with my favourite being the Pack ‘n Play No.2) that I can use to stimulate my G-spot, but none of them are specifically made with pleasuring the G-spot in mind, and this was definitely a hole in my collection that needed to be remedied fast. There are two main G-spot holy grails that almost all bloggers will swear by, the first being the Pure Wand by Njoy which is a stainless steel and double sided dildo which is aided by its weight to create maximum pleasure. While I’m sure it is amazing, the Pure Wand is also around $260 AUD / $173 USD, and for someone like me who is not completely sold on G-spot stimulation yet, it seemed like a expensive toy to try it out on. The other, much more reasonably priced, blogger favourite is the Comet G-Spot Wand from Key by Jopen, which seemed to me like the perfect starter G-spot stimulation toy, and so when Mimi De Luxe contacted me about doing a review for them I was over the moon when they agreed to send it for me to try.
Review: Fun Factory Stronic Eins
I’m not really an internal vibrator kind of girl. Maybe that is because I only own one, but I just don’t really see the appeal to it. I just like having something vibrate my clitoris while something else thrusts inside my vagina, it’s nature’s magic combo after all. But if you imagine the sex toy market without any internal vibrators you are really just left with dildos for internal stimulation, and while dildos are absolutely great and do come in a huge variety of shapes, sizes and textures, you’re kind of left wanting something more. So when I heard about Fun Factory’s line of Stronic Pulsators, a vibrator-looking toy that uses magnets to thrust back and forth inside you, I was hooked and have been eager to get my hands on the Fun Factory Stronic Eins ever since. It was as if they read my mind and made the perfect toy for me!
Review: Unbound Subscription Box
I love subscription boxes. They’re one of my favourite things to splurge my money on. There’s really nothing more fun than once a month or so getting a box of goodies sorta unexpectedly delivered to your door, and then ripping into it to discover what treasures lie inside. Before them the only time I got a bunch of gifts in this way was during christmas or my birthday, so basically getting a subscription box makes it feel like christmas multiple times a year, who wouldn’t want that? Recently a new trend has hit subscription boxes: sex toys! I feel like I hear about a new box almost weekly. Unfortunately, I haven’t been too impressed with the range I’ve seen available. Almost all generally appear to feature non body safe toys and lubricants filled with things you do not want near your vagina. I’m not surprised really, body safe sex toys can be expensive and good lubes are few and far between. Plus there isn’t a whole lot you can give a person or couple without having to specifically know their preferences (e.g. are you interested in anal?). Thankfully, my opinion changed about sex toy subscription boxes when the awesome guys from Unbound Box contacted me about a review.
Review: We-Vibe Tango II
Next month is a big one for this blog, it is my first year blog anniversary! I’m super excited for it, and have been planning some big changes to my blog to celebrate, among other announcements I will share in the coming weeks! One of the main changes however, is that I am hoping to make my site more Australian friendly, since I feel like we don’t get much representation down here, and I’d love to help fix that. So I was completely delighted at the start of this month to announce my new site sponsor, Cupid’s Cupboard, a brilliant Australian sex toy store that sells only the best body safe brands at crazy good shipping prices ($8.95 flat rate, but free with orders over $50)! Anyway, when they asked me what toy I could review for them out of their excellent range, it was a total no-brainer. It has been a long time coming, but I finally have one of the much loved We-Vibe products, the Tango! It is not a secret on my blog or others that the We-Vibe Tango is considered one of the staples of sex toys. It has been unanimously named the strongest clit vibe on the market, plus I have been very eager to test it out with some of my other unrelated but compatible sex toys.
Review: D.VICE Queenie
Queenie by D.VICE is my first Australian-made sex toy purchase, and boy am I proud! With super squishy body safe silicone, a beautiful hand poured texture, slight curve and bumps along the shaft, plus harness and anal compatible, it is really hard to fault this beautiful work of art!
