When I started reviewing I made a list of all the toys I believed were Sex Toy Reviewer Must-Haves. I’m proud to say I now own all of them, but for awhile there has been one exception to this and that was the Njoy Pure Wand. Renowned for its heavenly G-spotting and squirting abilities in the sex toy world, the Njoy Pure Wand has been a toy I have probably mentioned in my reviews over a hundred times. One of the main reasons I haven’t gotten it till now (other than the price) is that I have a difficult G-spot that loves to hide and I was starting to think it just wasn’t for me. This was until in July when I got the Jopen Comet Wand as a cheaper way for me to explore the world of G-spotting before committing to one of Njoy’s pieces. If you’ve read that review, which I’d recommend if you’re interested in G-spotting and the Pure Wand, you’ll know that I absolutely adored it and instantly made the decision to get a Njoy Pure Wand as soon as humanly possible. So, of course, as soon as I heard one of my favourite stores to work with, JOUJOU, had started stocking Njoy recently, you can bet exactly what I requested!
Review: Laid D.1 Stone Dildo
I’ve always been very interested in the healing and enhancement properties that come with different types of stones or crystals. I have very fond memories as a kid of picking out stones that were supposed to help me in certain areas, such as ‘improves your art’ or ‘helps you make friends’, and I still have a rather large collection. As such, I have lusted after the stone collection of toys from Laid ever since I first saw them. Unfortunately Laid products are both expensive and not very common to see in Australia, so they quickly fell to the bottom of my wishlist. Last month however I announced my partnership and affiliation with Australian retailer JOUJOU. As part of this I was able to choose a product from their range to review, and you can imagine my excitement when I saw they stocked Laid. I was most interested in their original dildo design, the Laid D.1 Stone, and set about eagerly waiting for it to arrive.
Review: Godemiche Ambit
Have you ever bought something that you couldn’t even begin to justify, you just really needed it? I’m sure we’ve all made such an impulsive and stupid, yet wonderful, decision once in our lives, and mine is definitely the Godemiche Ambit. I’ve had my eye on Godemiche since they started up, a small husband and wife team from the UK who hand-make all of their silicone products. So far their range has been small, offering their signature Adam dildo, a butt plug, a ball gag and The Peg, which is finger-like toy designed for anal beginners. They’re all brilliant start-up products, and I doubt it will be long before they expand, especially since they are currently designing a wand attachment dildo for the Doxy Wand, as well as an attachment for the new Doxy bullet vibe that was announced at the ETO Show this year. As much as I have wanted to try out their products, I was worried that the girth of the Adam (the only product I was particularly interested in) would be too much for me. That all changed however when the Ambit was announced, a slimmer dildo designed for G-spot stimulation. It looked like the perfect dildo for me, and I was so excited for it I even made a statement about how great it looked for SHE Magazine (pg.62). Of course I couldn’t afford it, but after seeing it made for someone else in Godemiche’s Galaxy colour combination, I just couldn’t resist any longer and immediately ordered one.
Review: Tantus Flurry
Since its release Tantus’s Dual Density O2 line has been all the rage in silicone dildos and my dream to own one of these beauties was finally fulfilled recently. In fact, I somehow now own three, which truly is a thought that fills my heart with happiness. This review is all about the Tantus Flurry, however I will soon be reviewing the other two, which are the Gary and Uncut #1. It has been a little while since my last Tantus review, so if you aren’t aware then let me mention once again that Tantus is one of my absolute favourite sex toy manufactures and dildo makers due to their use of body-safe ultra-premium silicone. They are the makers of my current favourite dildo, and if it wasn’t for the fact that their shipping prices to Australia are so high I would likely own every dildo they have on offer. Last year I treated myself and bought a few of their dildos before their shipping prices got so high, however this was my first time asking them for possible review items and I was so glad when they agreed to send me some toys over!
Review: BS Atelier Alex
I have a huge thing for hand-made dildos by small studios. It just makes it so much more personal and I always love the idea that the product you own could differ slightly from what someone else might own, making each one unique. BS Atelier’s products are no exception to this, with all their toys being carefully hand crafted in their studio in Spain. I have had their Alex dildo on my wishlist for as long as I have been blogging due to other blogger’s great reviews and its beautiful designs, first in its Light Blue Noise colouring, and later in its Blue Rainbow version. I hadn’t really taken any steps to getting this dildo however, until earlier this year in June, with the tragic events that took place in the US, I had a huge need to get my hands on anything Pride related, and this was of course on the top of my list. BS Atelier were very easy and lovely to contact and agreed to send me the toy for review.
Review: Jopen Key Comet Wand
I’ve recently concluded that my sex toy collection had been lacking a certain something: G-spot simulators. I have a few toys, particularly dildos (with my favourite being the Pack ‘n Play No.2) that I can use to stimulate my G-spot, but none of them are specifically made with pleasuring the G-spot in mind, and this was definitely a hole in my collection that needed to be remedied fast. There are two main G-spot holy grails that almost all bloggers will swear by, the first being the Pure Wand by Njoy which is a stainless steel and double sided dildo which is aided by its weight to create maximum pleasure. While I’m sure it is amazing, the Pure Wand is also around $260 AUD / $173 USD, and for someone like me who is not completely sold on G-spot stimulation yet, it seemed like a expensive toy to try it out on. The other, much more reasonably priced, blogger favourite is the Comet G-Spot Wand from Key by Jopen, which seemed to me like the perfect starter G-spot stimulation toy, and so when Mimi De Luxe contacted me about doing a review for them I was over the moon when they agreed to send it for me to try.
