If I had a bucket list of sex toys, a traditional style rabbit vibrator would have certainly been present on it until very recently. I’ve tried a few toys over the years that take their inspiration from the dual stimulation first pioneered by rabbits, such as the SenseMax SenseVibe, Adorime Rabbit and Vibease Esthesia, but until late last month I had never actually tried a design where the external arm included the classic rabbit ears, which is where the name stems from. So, in true reviewer style, after longing over one of these vibes for so long, when I finally get one I get two at once. The first was the Paloqueth Rabbit, which I reviewed last week, while today’s review is on The Rabbit Company Come Hither, which I received shortly after. Trying the two out at the same time was certainly interesting, as while they look very similar, they couldn’t be more different. While Paloqueth’s Rabbit is only a simple, low-budget vibe, The Come Hither is an expensive luxury toy with more than a few tricks up its sleeve.
The Brand
The Rabbit Company, as you may have guessed, are specialists in rabbit-style vibrators. They’re a US company, and while they do manufacture a few other types of toys, their bread-and-butter is rabbits, and they make a bunch of them. You might think, how many types of rabbits could they possibly come up with, but the answer is apparently a lot. They have thrusting rabbits, beaded rabbits, suction rabbits, and even a realistic rabbit that just makes the end look more like a penis. When JOUJOU recently approached me about doing a giveaway and review, they chose The Rabbit Company as the brand but let me pick the product. Out of all of the company’s toys available in their store, I was most drawn to The Come Hither Rabbit.
Product Description
The Come Hither Rabbit Vibrator by The Rabbit Company is essentially a classic rabbit vibe, but it has one extra feature which I feel just elevates the whole concept. I’m sure most people are familiar with the “come hither” motion that we are suppose to do with our fingers in order to stimulate someone’s G-Spot. Well, the internal arm of this toy can move back and forth in order to create this motion, thus allowing a hands-free massage of the G-Spot. Other than this, the toy works in all the ways you’d expect. There is two motors, one each arm, allowing you to enjoy stimulation on both your G-Spot and clitoris. The design of the toy is sleek and it comes in three colours, purple, pink and aqua. The coloured areas are then made with a buttery body-safe silicone, while the handle of the toy uses a glossy white ABS plastic. On the handle is where you’ll find the five buttons that control the toy, some of which are also covered with silicone, as well as the company’s logo and USB charging port. While my Paloqueth Rabbit only had the ears, The Rabbit Company have gone all out with this, featuring a fairly realistic rabbit for the external arm complete with a tail and a face, as well as some very unrealistic looking “whiskers”, which just look like spikes covering the poor bunny’s face. With a diameter of 3.6cm / 1.4″, the internal arm certainly provides some girth, while its smooth tapered head and somewhat squishy silicone means easy entry for people like me who prefer smaller toys. While the whole toy screams luxury, and it should as it’s the most expensive sex toy I’ve ever tried, there are a few seams around the silicone that let its otherwise refined appearance down slightly. But the biggest immediately obvious issue with this toy is that it’s not fully waterproof, only splash-proof, which there is really no excuse for in a vibrator in 2019, let alone a $300 one. This toy is anal safe, however it is not intended for this use, and it is not harness compatible.
Packaging
My order with JOUJOU for The Rabbit Company Come Hither Rabbit was placed on the 18th of March and I received it on the 21st, which is the ultra-quick speed I’ve come to expect from this local company. As usual the packaging was 100% discreet, with no mention of the company who sent it or what was inside. Opening it up I was presented with a very nice, but also very large box. I always expect something special when it comes to the packaging of luxury sex toys, and I wasn’t let down in this regard. On the outside of the box is a white sleeve, with features heaps of information about the toy, as well as actual size pictures of the product. This sleeve can then be removed to reveal a discreet purple box, which only features the company’s name, and this can then be opened magnetically to reveal the toy and a list of “Hare Care” tips (here’s some photos to see what I mean). The toy only comes with a charging cable and instruction manual, and while the manual is detailed it isn’t specific to The Come Hither, but instead serves as a general manual for all of the company’s rabbit toys, making it quite complicated to read. Honestly, for a toy of this price I think The Rabbit Company could have afforded to give the product its own manual. Plus, for a toy with lint-attracting silicone I also think a storage bag should have been included (I was so confused there wasn’t one I spent ages searching the box for it.. I’m still convinced I’ve somehow missed it!). The toy has a 5 year limited warranty.
Charging
Charging The Rabbit Company Come Hither Rabbit is easy since it is USB rechargeable. Just plug one end of the cord into a USB port, and the other end into the bottom of the toy. When charging the LED light on the toy’s middle button will flash, and when it is fully charged the light will become solid. The Rabbit Company recommend an initial charge of the toy before you first use it, and this will take approximately 2 hours. After this charging should take around 2.5 hours, and this will give you 1 hour of play time.
Controls
Since this toy has five buttons and can do a lot of things, using it is not intuitive or quick to pick up at all, and this is made worse by the confusing manual. Basically, to turn The Come Hither off and on, you can press the power button. When it first turns on both the arms will be vibrating, and the come hither motion will be on, all at the lowest speeds. You can then press the plus button to increase all these speeds (for which there are 5 levels), and press the minus button to lower them all again. If you hold the lowest button (which kind of looks like a swirl) down for 3 seconds the come hither motion will stop, and pressing this button again will turn it back on. You can then also press the middle button, and this will let you cycle through the 5 pattern modes for the external arm, or alternatively you can hold this button down for 3 seconds, which will turn the motor in the external arm off completely. Finally, you can hold down the plus and minus button while the toy is off for 3 seconds to activate or deactivate the travel lock mode. This is certainly a lot, but other than the complicated nature of it I don’t really have any complaints. It means that there is a lot of different ways you can use this toy, and in a lot of different combinations, which makes it super versatile. The main things to note with this is that the internal arm does not have any pattern modes, and this is the only element of the toy that cannot be turned off while it’s running.
First Impressions
When turning this toy on, the come hither motion is quite impressive and fun to watch. I will note though that it is also quite loud, which may be a big concern if privacy is an issue for you. It’s also obvious that the slightest bit of resistance to the internal arm will cause it to not be able to move, so if you need a lot of pressure against your G-Spot this may be an issue. The vibrations from both motors are powerful and rumbly, although like most toys they get buzzier the higher the speed I put them at. While it initially feels like the external arm has a steady speed, it’s actually more like a subtle pulsating vibration, which I like as it gives added stimulation while not feeling like a pattern mode. Also, while the external arm’s vibrations are throughout the whole arm, I definitely find that they are most concentrated in the ears. Unfortunately the vibrations are also fairly loud, so these combined with the noise of the come hither motion is enough to make me worry that the neighbours can hear it.
Inserting this toy is fairly easy, as while it’s a bit larger than I am use to its smooth tapered head makes for a really comfortable entry, although I generally prefer to have an initial orgasm with my Magic Wand Rechargeable just to make things even easier. The biggest thing I have found with this toy is that it’s worth putting in a fair amount of time before use to get it into a comfortable position, and that practice makes perfect. It’s definitely not the sort of toy I can just quickly put in and start using immediately for a quick orgasm. This is particularly important due to the external arm, as it’s quite firm, and this in combination with its spiky ears and whiskers means that if it’s in the wrong position when you turn on the toy (and thus activate the come hither motion, which will cause the toy to start moving on its own) you could probably hurt yourself. I’m glad to say I haven’t had any issues with it personally, but it’s definitely something I have to be cautious of prior to turning the toy on.
My Experience
One thing that quickly becomes apparent when I insert The Come Hither Rabbit is that it cannot stimulate my G-Spot very well. This toy is a similar shape to the LELO Mona 2, which while everyone raved about for its G-Spotting abilities, I found my G-Spot was not very compatible with. This isn’t either of these toy’s fault, but is simply due to the fact that my G-Spot is a bit further back than most people’s. Despite this though I still get a fair bit of stimulation from thrusting with it, as well as when the come hither motion is turned on. I’ve found my favourite way to use the toy is to angle it as close to my G-spot as possible, with the ears also touching my clit, and then turn on the vibrations and come hither motion for a glorious hands-free experience (which I believe is the best of any toy I’ve ever tried). It all works really well, and while the come hither motion can’t put too much pressure internally, I find that the pressure from the clitoral arm is enough to bring me to climax. When I want something even more intense though I can quickly turn off the come hither motion to make it easier for me to thrust with the toy itself, which I really enjoy.
Cleaning & Care
Cleaning the toy takes a little bit longer than usual since it cannot be immersed in water. I usually wipe it down with a cloth coated in warm soapy water, and then rinse it with fresh water after giving it a good clean. Be careful to clean tricky areas such as the rabbit’s whiskers and around the handle’s seam, as bacteria can easily hide here. Once clean just leave it to dry or pat it dry, and then return it to storage. I would recommend using a zip-lock bag to store it in, as the toy doesn’t come with any storage and the box is too large to be a practical reusable option. Make sure to not use silicone-based lubricant with this product, as it may react badly to the silicone it is made of, but if you do then first perform a spot test.
Final Thoughts
While it certainly takes a bit of practice to get use to, I really enjoyed using The Come Hither Rabbit by The Rabbit Company. But as the most expensive sex toy I’ve ever reviewed, I feel like I need to hold it to a higher standard than usual, and in this regard I do feel a bit let down. The biggest issue with it is definitely not being waterproof, but smaller problems too, such as the noisy vibrations, lack of storage bag, and confusing controls, all add up. Plus, even though it was a winner for me in terms of pleasure, I feel like it could very easily be a hit or a miss for other people, which really is the curse of all rabbit vibes. For most people the G-Spot arm would probably work better than it did for me, which would totally elevate the overall pleasure you’d be getting from the toy, but for others the clitoral arm might not reach, or you might find the firmness of it simply uncomfortable. As with any rabbit vibrator, buying something like this is a risk (and in this case, a very expensive one!), but if it does happen to suit your anatomy well, then you’re going to be having a very good time with it.

Good
A good product, but considering its high price tag it could do with some improvements.

Rabbits have always been hit or miss for us. Some line up well with her anatomy and others not so much. Unfortunately the only way to know is to pay up and try them.
