Paloqueth Rabbit

It takes a lot to impress me. At this point I’ve been doing this for just under 4 years, and with almost 100 reviews under my belt (and many more sex toys under my bed), I find it harder and harder to be wow’d by a toy. But last year one really stood out for me, and it was a simple $20 rabbit vibrator. I’m talking about the Paloqueth G-Spot Vibrator, or the Paloqueth Mermaid as they’ve now renamed it. This toy came in at Number 3 on my Top 10 Sex Toys of 2018 list, and ranking it so high was not an easy decision. Could a simple and generic $20 vibe really make it that far on my list? Could a company with no stockists, that only sell their toys on Amazon to the US and Germany really be included? What’s more, myself and a few other bloggers experienced harassment by one of the staff members in November last year. I felt by including Paloqueth’s product on my list it would make it lose credibility, but at the end of the day my mission here at the blog is to give you folks my honest opinions: and honestly, my G-Spot adored this toy. Since then I’m happy to report that the company has reached out and apologised for the issues I had with one of their staff, and have offered to send me some new toys for review. If it was any other company I think I would have said no, but since this was the maker of a toy I enjoyed so throughly, I couldn’t help but accept.

Product Description

Since I enjoyed the Paloqueth Mermaid so much I wanted to try out a similar toy, so I asked to receive the Paloqueth Rabbit. This toy is very similar to the Mermaid, except it is slightly more phallic, with a pronounced and textured head, and it has an external arm to provide extra stimulation to the clitoris, complete with the classic rabbit ears. My hope with it was that it would let me achieve the same level of G-Spot stimulation as the Mermaid, while also having clitoral stimulation. It has all the usual features I’ve come to expect: it’s 100% waterproof, USB rechargeable, and made with body-safe silicone. It’s a fairly thin toy, even with the pronounced head, so with a diameter of only 3.7cm / 1.5″ you should have no issues inserting it. Both the internal and external arms have motors in them, so it can stimulate you in both areas at once, and there are two buttons to control the motors under the external arm. The bottom of the toy features the company’s logo and a LED light so you can tell when the toy is on, while the back has a hole for the charger. The silicone is buttery smooth, although it picks up a lot of lint, and there is an obvious seam running the length of the toy. This toy can be used for anal, but it is not intended for this use, and it’s not compatible with a harness. Sadly it only comes in purple.

Immediate Concerns

Paloqueth Rabbit Arms

As soon as I received the Paloqueth Rabbit and held it in my hands, I knew something was wrong and had a eerie feeling of déjà vu. The thing that I liked so much about the Mermaid, was that the whole toy was completely firm, so you could easily angle it to massage your G-Spot and put as much force into it as you wished. But when handling the Rabbit, I instantly got flashbacks to another toy I reviewed last year, the Adorime Rabbit. This toy was one of the worst items I reviewed last year, and it all because of an extremely obvious issue: the area between the head and handle of the toy was completely hollow. This meant that there was absolutely no way to angle the toy towards your G-Spot, because there was nothing connecting the handle to the internal arm. If you haven’t already guessed where I’m going with this, the answer is that the Paloqueth Rabbit is exactly the same (in fact, the two toys are really similar). When I realised this I was quite upset, firstly because a toy I had high hopes for likely wasn’t going to be any good, and secondly because it meant reviewing yet another toy with such a ridiculous and clear error.

Packaging

Paloqueth Rabbit Packaging

My order with Paloqueth was placed on the 27th of February and I received it on the 5th of March, which was fantastic since it was coming all the way to Australia. The mailing box did not mention the company who had sent it, but frustratingly listed the two items inside as “Massagers”, which was a shame since the last package I received from Paloqueth was 100% discreet. My previous order contained the Paloqueth Mermaid and Bondage Set, and the two items were together in one box. I later was told though that that box was intended solely for the Bondage Set, and that the staff had forgotten to pack the Mermaid in its actual packaging. Due to this I felt I hadn’t really experienced Paloqueth’s proper vibrator packaging yet, so I was excited to see how my new products would arrive. The box for the Paloqueth Rabbit is very simple, but it uses minimalist design and texture to make it seem luxurious. It just features the brand name and some other minor details, with strangely no mention of the product. Inside the box the toy rests in a plastic tray, alongside its instructions, charging cable, and a plastic zip-lock bag for storage. This toy also comes with a 1 year warranty.

Charging

Paloqueth Rabbit Charging

Charging the Paloqueth Rabbit is easy since it is USB rechargeable. Just plug in the charger to any USB port and then the other end into the toy through the small hole in its silicone. When charging the toy’s LED light will blink, and once fully charged this light will become steady. It should take around 2 hours to charge the toy, and then this will give you around 3 hours of play-time. Once during testing, after previously fully charging the toy the week before and only using it a little since, the toy died on me a few minutes in. This doesn’t happen very often so I was quite surprised, and it tells me that this product likely cannot hold its charge, which is definitely a big concern.

Controls

The controls for this toy are pretty quick to understand and use. To start, just hold the power button down for 3 seconds, which will then put the toy in stand-by mode and activate the LED light on the bottom to indicate this. Then you can press the vibration button to cycle through the 9 different modes, the first three of which are steady speeds, and the rest being patterns. You can then turn the device off again by holding down the power button for 3 seconds. I’m not keen on how any of this works and was fairly disappointed by it. Basically, the toy has the exact same controls as the Paloqueth Mermaid, except that it has one extra button. All this button does though is turn the toy off and on, so it seems super unnecessary as this could have easily been achieved with just one button. Plus, the toy also keeps the Mermaid’s stand-by mode function, which I very much dislike. Honestly, I was expecting the Paloqueth Rabbit to use the same controls as the Adorime Rabbit, since they have the same buttons and I loved Adorime’s version of them. For this toy, the power button turns the toy off and on while also controlling the toy’s clitoral arm vibrations, while the vibrations button just controlled the internal arm vibrations. This meant you could control the toy motors individually, giving you much more versatility and the ability to create your own combinations of the toy’s two vibrations. I think Paloqueth needed to choose to either stick with the one button design they used for the Mermaid, or make proper use of having two buttons like Adorime did, but instead they just chose a confused blend of the two which ultimately does not work.

Paloqueth Rabbit Buttons

First Impressions

In regards to the motors for this toy, I find them very similar, if not the same, as the motors in the Paloqueth Mermaid and Adorime Rabbit. They start off quite rumbly, and gradually get more buzzy as they progress through the three speeds. But despite this they are all somewhat powerful and good vibrations, the sort of stuff I can get off with fairly easily. If I was to point out a difference between them, I would just say that the clitoral arm on the Paloqueth Rabbit seems a little bit more rumbly than the one on the Adorime Rabbit. As I mentioned with the other toys, while this isn’t as “whisper-quiet” as stated in its marketing, it is still fairly quiet, and I would feel quite confident using it under some covers and behind a closed door without anyone hearing it.

My Experience

After my previous terrible experience with the Adorime Rabbit, I wasn’t expecting a lot from the Paloqueth Rabbit. Inserting it is fairly easy, although the ridge of the head does mean it’s not as smooth as an entry than with the other two toys I’ve been comparing it to. As I assumed, the issue with it touching but not actually being able to stimulate my G-Spot remains the same with this toy. This is incredibly frustrating, as it creates the feeling of being teased, like if somebody placed a delicious looking meal in front of you whilst you were starving, but said you cannot eat it. If you don’t understand why this is the case, then I’d recommend checking out my Adorime Rabbit review.

Once I turn the vibrators on and the clitoral arm springs to life, things get a lot better. This is my first rabbit vibrator that has the actual rabbit ears, and I love them. They create such an interesting and pleasurable sensation that I really like, and depending on how I place them on my clit, for which there are many different options, they give off different stimulation. Plus, the ears mean that the clitoral arm on this toy is a lot longer than it was on the Adorime Rabbit, so I can thrust with the toy without losing the contact on my clit. Due to this I have actually come to quite enjoy using this toy, as the clitoral vibrations and light stimulation of my G-Spot from the internal vibrations are enough to give me plenty of orgasm-worthy pleasure, and I can also easily thrust with it to elevate the sensations even more.

Cleaning & Care

Paloqueth Rabbit Arms

Cleaning the Paloqueth Rabbit is easy since it is made from silicone and is waterproof. Just throw it in some soapy water when you’re done, give it a wash, rinse, and then dry. You can then store it in the bag it came in or in a zip-lock bag. Make sure to not use silicone-based lubricant with this product, as it may react badly to the silicone it is made of, but if you do then first perform a spot test.

Final Thoughts

Even though the Paloqueth Rabbit has a glaring issue, which effectively eliminated the G-Spot part of its intended usage for me, I actually still enjoyed using it. But can you even imagine how good it would have been if I had been able to use it on my G-Spot? It might have even made Number 1 on my Top 10 list this year!! Unfortunately there were other issues too, the fact that it doesn’t seem to hold its charge is certainly not a good sign, and the controls of the toy definitely need some work, especially to allow the two motors to be controlled individually. But at the end of the day it’s still a pleasurable product, especially considering its super budget friendly price, which is all that really matters. Plus, if Paloqueth follow the advice I’ve given them in this review, they could really be onto a winner.

Not bad for the price you're paying, but it definitely needs some work to turn it into something special.

  1. Thanks for saving us some time and (a little) money on this one. I hope you get to (& want to) review more of their line.

    • I’d recommend getting in touch with Paloqueth directly about this, but there is a chance it isn’t something they sell separately unfortunately.
