I can’t help it, I love Satisfyer! I know they certainly aren’t the best brand out there, and have had their fair share of toy failures, but I just can’t deny the fact that every toy I have ever tried from them has been amazing. Not only that, but each toy I’ve tried has taken their signature suction technology to a whole new level, which is why every time I review one it becomes my next favourite. So far Satisfyer have had products in all of my annual Top 10 Toys of the Year lists, the only company to achieve such a feat, and they consistently place in the Top 5, going so far as to make both number four and two in last year’s list. As such, when I set out to host my biggest giveaway ever a few months ago for my Fourth Blogiversary, I knew I had to include a Satisfyer toy. I was then lucky enough to secure their newest clitoral simulator, the Satisfyer Luxury, and to be honest promoting it for that giveaway really made me want one for myself! Thankfully SheVibe were kind enough to send one for me to try, and I eagerly awaited it to see if my good luck with Satisfyer products would continue!
Product Description
Satisfyer’s toys have always leaned towards the luxury end of the market, and so the Satisfyer Luxury is here to take that up a notch, as its name suggests. It doesn’t offer anything new in regards to the way it functions, so instead this product is all about the way it looks. Featuring genuine leather, real precious metals, and buttery soft silicone, this is certainly the nicest looking Satisfyer I own. Its sleek design has been planned with ergonomics in mind to make it very comfortable to hold and use, and its three metal buttons are extremely satisfying to press. You can get it in two colour schemes, a pink, rose gold, and white version named Prêt-à-porter (which is what I have), or the white, black, and gold Haute Couture. According to SheVibe, this toy only offers a suction function, which was a little disappointing to me considering how much I loved the Satisfyer Pro Plus Vibration, but upon receiving the toy I quickly discovered that it does also offers vibrations. This isn’t just SheVibe’s mistake, as it seems a lot of websites do not advertise the Luxury’s vibrations (including Satisfyer’s own website), which is very strange. As usual, this Satisfyer toy is also USB rechargeable and fully waterproof.
Removable Nozzle?
While I was happy to find that the Satisfyer Luxury featured vibrations despite them not being advertised, there was another discrepancy between product listings and the actual toy that is a bit more concerning. A lot of websites, SheVibe included, list that the nozzle of the toy is removal for cleaning. This is totally normal and expected, as every Satisfyer toy I’ve ever owned has had a removal nozzle. As such, when I got the toy one of the first things I did was try to remove the nozzle so that I could clean it before use. But alas, the nozzle on this toy is actually glued down. Unfortunately this was a little too late of a discovery for me, as I had already ruined some of the glue on the back of the nozzle trying to get it off. I’m so use to Satisfyer toys having removal nozzles that at first I thought I was just going crazy, until I posted about it on social media and had an influx of messages from bloggers telling me they had the same problem, including some horror photos from Luna of Climaximaal as she had also attempted to remove it and ending up tearing the silicone, eek! I’ve since informed SheVibe of this misinformation and they’re working to correct it, but unfortunately there has been no word from Satisfyer who I also tweeted to.
Packaging
My order for the Satisfyer Luxury was placed with SheVibe on the 11th of July and I promptly received it by the 17th, which was an amazing speed considering it was coming from the US to Australia! As usual SheVibe’s packaging was completely discreet, with no mention of who the sender was or what the contents were. As this is my fifth Satisfyer toy, I thought I had a pretty good idea of what to expect with the packaging: a simple cardboard box which would contain the toy, charger, and a small instruction manual. But what I forgot was that this is the Satisfyer Luxury, and this theme followed through to its packaging. As such, the box it came in is very elegant, being made of matte black textured card and featuring shiny gold detailing (which is suspiciously similar to what ZALO are using for their Legend series). A window at the front then lets you see the toy prior to opening the box, while information on the back tells you all about the different functions it offers. The toy then comes with an instruction manual, charger, and a velvet drawstring bag. As with all Satisfyers, this toy also includes a 10 year manufacturers warranty.
Charging
Charging the toy is easy, just connect one end to a USB port and the other end to the Luxury. The charger is a little different to the one I am use to receiving with Satisfyer toys, but it seems to be just a visual change as it still features the same great magnets, making connecting the toy a breeze. While charging a LED light will blink, and once it is fully charged the light will remain solid. It should take around four hours to fully charge, and this should then give you about 70 minutes of playtime. Honestly this ratio is pretty poor, especially compared with other Satisfyer products (for example, the Satisfyer Pro Plus Vibration which resembles the Luxury the closest, only needed 2 hours to fully charge and would then give you around 120 minutes of use), and for a higher-quality and more expensive toy (the Luxury is double the price of the Pro Plus Vibration!) I definitely expected this to be better.
Controls
Controlling the Satisfyer Luxury is a little tricky at first, and this is made worse by the fact that the instructions don’t really explain it well, but once you get the hang of it it’s actually pretty good. Similar to my other Satisfyer toys that featured vibrations, the Pro Plus Vibration and Pro G-Spot Rabbit, the vibrations and suction on the Luxury are entirely independent in their controls, so the two can be used either together or independently, which is very convenient. Firstly, there are three buttons, two that are together and feature plus and minus symbols which control the suction, and one that is alone which controls the vibrations. To turn the vibrations on, hold down the button for 2 seconds, and this will put you on the lowest vibration setting. You can then continue pressing the button to cycle through the toy’s 10 vibration settings, with three of these being steady speeds and 6 being pattern modes. Then, to turn on the suction mode, hold down the plus button for 2 seconds, which will activate the lowest suction setting. You can then slowly increase the strength of the suction over 11 different modes, and you can decrease this using the minus button. You can turn the modes off by holding down the button you turned the mode on with for 2 seconds.
First Impressions
Satisfyer toys always seem to have trouble with their noise. My original Satisfyer Pro 2 was super loud, and while this was vastly improved upon for their Pro Penguin Next Generation, things went a little downhill again with my more recent reviews of the Pro Plus Vibration and Pro G-Spot Rabbit. Sadly, it seems things continue to get worse with the Satisfyer Luxury, as it has gone back to my Satisfyer Pro 2’s level of noise, and if anything it’s louder. This makes it one of my loudest toys yet, which is not what you want if discretion is important to you. It is only made bearable because of the fact that when applied to the clitoris the noise is dampened significantly, although this does mean that I always get a bit of a shock whenever I remove it whilst it’s still on!
As usual I can’t really tell a huge difference between the suction strength of this Satisfyer compared to my others, although I would say that the Luxury does feel slightly stronger. Instead, the real difference in feeling usually comes from the silicone nozzle, most notably the level of cushion it offers and the size of its hole. On that note, I would say the hole for the Luxury is about the same size as the Pro Plus Vibration, which is quite large (enough for me to stick my index finger into). This is great as not only does a larger hole make the suction feel more broad, but it is far easier to apply to your clitoris. Then, while most of my Satisfyers only offered small areas of cushion or none at all, the Luxury features a large flat area right outside of the hole, and this combined with the toy’s plush silicone easily makes this the most comfortable nozzle yet. In regards to vibrations, I was hoping these would be upgraded from the weak and buzzy vibes the other vibrating Satisfyer toys featured, but sadly it seems the same motor has been used, and so these are the same.
My Experience
As noted, from just trying the Luxury out on my fingers I didn’t find that its suction strength was that much different from my other Satisfyer toys. However, when placed on my clitoris there is an immediate difference. The stimulation I receive from the Luxury penetrates far deeper than any other Satisfyer toy. It’s almost rumbly in nature, and there also seems to be a consistent and strong thudding inside the toy which feels overwhelmingly good. It is what I imagine it would be like if all my life I had only used weak and buzzy vibrators, and now for the first time somebody had given me a powerful and rumbly vibe. This Satisfyer, and I can’t emphasis this enough, is on a completely different level to any I have tried before. Even though the suction has the same levels of intensity, the feeling of them is so completely different that it’s hard to even compare this toy to other suction products. As such, I have the most incredibly strong and fast orgasms with the Luxury, and I find it quite addicting to use. This is by far the best suction toy I’ve ever tried, and to be honest it’s one of the best sex toys in general I have ever tried.
In regards to the Luxury’s vibrations, I tend to not use these that often with the toy. While they do feel good and add further stimulation to the experience, I find their buzziness takes away from the deep feeling I receive from the suction, so only when I really want to take things up a notch (usually after I’ve already had a few orgasms with it) do I turn these on.
Cleaning & Care
While it’s a little annoying that the silicone head is not removal on this model for cleaning, Satisfyer have still made things easy by making sure the toy is fully waterproof. This means you can just clean the whole thing with warm soapy water, and then rinse it and leave to air dry. Then after this you can keep it in the drawstring bag it came with. Since the head and body are made out of silicone ensure you don’t use silicone based lubricant with it, and be cautious to not overuse it as it can start to become painful after excessive use. Furthermore, I have found prolonged use of the toy can make my clitoris quite sore the next day, so I wouldn’t recommend using it excessively if you are planning on having any rigorous sex or further masturbation within the next 24 hours.
Final Thoughts
Up until discussing my actual use of this product, the review was looking pretty bad, huh? When you consider the only difference between the Satisfyer Luxury and the Satisfyer Pro Plus Vibration is the way it looks, yet it’s double the price, you’d assume that the Luxury would at least not have any faults compared to it. Yet, it has a non-removal nozzle, terrible charging ratio, buzzy vibrations and a noise level that is truly head-ache inducing. But then I put it on my clitoris, and nothing else matters. While I like to give an objective review to all elements of a product, I often say that at the end of the day all that really matters to me is how it feels in use, and this is truly one of those cases. This form of deeper and more penetrating stimulation that the Luxury provides also explains why the charging and noise level is so different from the Pro Plus Vibration, and if that is what it takes for Satisfyer to help me achieve these sorts of orgasms then I am all for it. I’m not kidding when I say this is genuinely one of the most pleasurable toys I have ever tried, and so it looks like this year Satisfyer may finally take the top spot in my Top 10 round-up!

Great
This Satisfyer has a few issues, but the pleasure I receive from it is some of the best I've ever experienced.

We have a Satisfyer Pro Traveler that we love because it’s small, quiet and works for her on the lowest setting. We have our eye on this one though, tempting.
