I’ve been quite smitten lately with clitoral stimulators, and they are quickly becoming one of my favourite sex toys. Previously I only owned two, the Satisfyer Pro 2 and Satisfyer Pro Penguin Next Generation, and have been eager to try more. So when Peepshow Toys recently approached me with a list of items I could review, the California Exotics Clitoral Pump jumped right out at me. I saw it as a great opportunity to review a similar toy to the Satisfyer line but from a different brand, and to have a cheaper alternative to suggest to my readers.
Back in 2016 I started a review series looking at beginner’s butt plugs that were both good quality and cheap, so that anyone new to using them would have a few options on what to start with, without breaking the bank. Butt plugs are still one of my favourite sex toys as they are a fantastic entry-level kink toy and very versatile, but sadly 2017 didn’t seem my year for them, as I only ended up reviewing one. So, to ensure that doesn’t happen again this year I wanted to start 2018 with a butt plug review right off the bat, and to bring back my ‘good quality and cheap beginner’s plugs’ series. In this regard, today’s review is on the Doc Johnson American POP! Mode silicone butt plug in 4 inches, which has been kindly sent to me by Peepshow Toys.
Ever since I started blogging I have been mentioning how much I wanted to try Sliquid’s flavoured lubricant range, Swirl. One of my first reviews was on two of their best-sellers, Sassy and Sea, and they, alongside Satin which I reviewed last year, are still my favourite lubricants. Sassy is for anything butt related, Sea is for dildos, and Satin is a fantastic in-between that also moisturises for a luxurious feel. But for activities that involve taste, I have had nothing. Of course, I have owned flavoured lubricant previously that I somewhat enjoyed, and I even raved about trying some chocolate flavoured lube that was poured over ice-cream at Sexpo last year. But none of these compared to the good things I had heard about Sliquid’s flavoured lubes. Sadly, despite my longing over the Swirl range and all the delicious sounding flavours that it includes, I hadn’t ever gotten the chance to try it. That was until recently, when one of my favourite Australian sex stores, Nikki Darling, offered me some for a review. Admittedly, Tangerine Peach and Blackberry Fig were probably not flavours I would have chosen personally, but at this point I am more than happy to try anything to get my hands on some of these bottles.
I am a huge sci-fi nut, so the idea of any AI or responsive sex toy design is always something I am hugely interested in. There have been a few, but I haven’t heard of anything ‘wow’ yet, and haven’t tried any myself. I believe these toys are going to continue to pop up though, and I’m sure in 10 or so years time they will dominate the market. So recently when I was approached by my sponsor Femplay to review some of their products, I noticed the California Exotics Luxe amongst their range. I am always on the hunt to find good quality sex toys at reasonable prices to recommend to my readers. Not everyone can fork out $100 every time they want a new dildo or vibrator, and there is no reason they should have to! For avid readers of my blog, you might recall the Tantus Vamp from my earlier review of it back in March last year. That review is one of my favourites, because I always felt like it was a turning point both for my blog and for my body. When I first purchased the Vamp I had no idea about any limitations I may have in my ability to enjoy sex toys. I was just starting out as a blogger, and I happily added the Vamp to my shopping cart during a sale of Tantus’s grab bags. Little did I know, that it would actually be too large in girth for my vagina to comfortably accommodate. I tried many times to be able to use it, as I had heard such great feedback from my fellow bloggers, until eventually I admitted defeat, and decided large toys just weren’t for me. I have come to accept that now, and it is one of the traits that makes my blog a little bit different from others. But I always wished I could enjoy the Tantus Vamp like so many others had. So, you only can imagine my excitement when I heard Tantus were releasing a new version of the Vamp, in their Super Soft silicone formula. It was a dream come true, and I quickly set my heart upon owning one. Thankfully, Peepshow Toys were kind enough to send one my way for review.
