Welcome to a new series of posts I’m hoping to share with you all that I’m calling “What’s In My Toy Box?”. While I already have a page on my blog called “My Toy Box”, this is just a list of everything I own. But there is one big difference between all the toys on that list: some are in my bedside table drawer (which I’ll now refer to as my toy box), ready for use, and some are in storage under my bed. I review sex toys, but don’t you ever wonder what happens to them after I test them? I might give something a perfect review, but does it actually continue to get used after the fact? Occasionally things turn up in my end-of-the-year Top 10 list, but even then do those toys continue to shine after they are replaced by newer products? Really this is a “Where are they now?” post, because it’ll be taking a look at my toy box in its current state, to see what toys are still being used regularly by me. I’ll only release new posts for this series when my toy box has changed enough to warrant one, but I think these posts will probably become the best place on my blog to find out what my favourite toys are (and what’s worth spending your money on!).
Dildos
BS Atelier Rainbow Alex
The BS Atelier Rainbow Alex is my favourite smaller dildo, and it is often what I start off with when I am warming up to use a bigger toy. Designed as a G-Spot dildo, unfortunately I found that the flexibility of the toy meant it wasn’t fully able to stimulate my difficult G-Spot. It does, however, feel fantastic to thrust with, and so it’s always a pleasure to use at the start of a masturbation session. Plus it’s absolutely gorgeous, and definitely one of my favourite dildos aesthetically.
Jopen Key Comet Wand
The Jopen Key Comet Wand was my favourite G-Spot dildo for a long time, until I got my Njoy Pure Wand that is. But even though it isn’t sitting pretty in my Number 1 spot anymore, it is still a toy that I adore and love to use whenever I’m wanting something a little less intense than the Pure Wand. The silicone feels amazing and the handle is very comfortable to hold, especially in comparison to the Pure Wand which can often be a little tiresome since it is so heavy.
Njoy Pure Wand
I can’t see the Njoy Pure Wand ever leaving my toy box. It’s my favourite dildo by far, and blows me away every time I use it. I even store it still in its fancy box, because even though this takes up a fair bit of room, the toy is totally worth it and deserves all that extra space! Whenever I use this toy it’s extremely intense and sessions with it are often long as it demands ALL the orgasms. So due to this I don’t use it all the time despite how good it is, as sometimes I’m in the mood for something less intense or time consuming. But if I’m after a really good time, this is it.
Tantus Flurry
Tantus are my favourite dildo maker, so the Flurry is just the first of many Tantus toys that live in my toy box. Unfortunately it is also probably my least favourite of the Tantus toys listed here, although it was still good enough to have been living in my toy box for the past two years! While it was designed to stimulate the G-Spot, I found it didn’t work for me in that way. Instead I found it stimulates my A-Spot well, although still not as good as a toy like the Tantus Gary. But it’s such a beautiful toy that I love it anyway, and I often find myself using it to help myself warm up before taking larger toys.
Tantus Gary
The Tantus Gary is the best dildo I’ve ever tried. Everything about it is really just perfection, from the way it looks and how detailed it is, to the realistic dual density feeling of it, to its amazing A-Spotting abilities. The Tantus Uncut #1 is actually the best A-Spot dildo I own, but the reason it is not on this list is because it’s so big that it takes a lot of effort to use, and so it means my use of it is too rare to warrant including in my toy box. So with its only real competition out of the way, I would definitely list the Gary as the best Tantus product in my toy box, and I’d totally recommend getting one for yourself if you like realistic toys or A-Spot stimulation.
Tantus Pack ‘n Play No.2
The Tantus Pack ‘n Play No.2 and I have a special connection. It was one of my first Tantus toys and it has been my favourite ever since, despite reviewing toys that are better than it, like the Tantus Gary above. I use it whenever I get the chance, and this is usually to warm up before taking larger toys, sometimes in combination with the BS Atelier Rainbow Alex and sometimes just by itself. Something about the way it feels just works for me, and that ‘it’ factor can be hard to describe.
Tantus Splish
The Tantus Splish is my partner’s favourite sex toy that I own. I think it’s because he is a fan of fingering me, and this toy is so small and thin that it gives a feeling very similar to this. His favourite way to use it is in the shower with me, generally as a warm up before PIV sex. I also love this toy, but its size means it doesn’t stimulate me as much as my larger toys, and it’s too small to be able to warm me up as well as a toy like the BS Atelier Rainbow Alex does. But regardless of my feelings about it, I can’t see it ever leaving my toy box as long as my partner has any word in the matter!
Tantus Vamp Super Soft
Using the Tantus Vamp Super Soft always feels like I’ve come full circle in my sex toy journey. The original Vamp was one of my first sex toys, and I was so sad when I found it was too large for me to comfortably use. When they announced the Super Soft version I was so excited to finally be able to use the toy I had longed after for so long. It was just as good as I had always imagined, and quickly became one of my favourite dildos. It still requires some warm-up despite the softer texture as it is still a large toy, but once inside I find it very comfortable and the soft silicone has a really pleasurable feel, very different from my firmer or dual density Tantus toys. I love using it on my A-Spot the most, and while it isn’t as stimulating as some of my other Tantus toys I find myself craving the feeling of the silicone more and more.
Clitoral & Wand Vibrators
IMTOY Gazelle
The IMTOY Gazelle is a small but powerful wand massager that I use fairly often. It’s great as a back-up option for those rare times when my Magic Wand Rechargeable dies during use, but otherwise I mostly use it as an alternative to my Nu Sensuelle Point or We-Vibe Tango when I want something a little less intense. This is good during PIV sex, as sometimes these hard bullet vibrators can be too much on my clitoris. It also comes in handy when I’m using insertable toys that are made of hard materials, such as the Njoy Pure Wand and Jopen Key Comet Wand, which can sometimes be incompatible with my bullet vibrators because the combination of using the two hard materials can sometimes mean my labia gets pinched between them. So during these times the IMTOY Gazelle is a real life-saver, providing a softer and rounded option which protects my labia from getting caught.
Jopen Lust L2
The Jopen Lust L2 was my first proper clitoral toy, and it’s mostly in my toy box for nostalgia reasons. These days I only use it when both my We-Vibe Tango and Nu Sensuelle Point have died, and I want something smaller than the IMTOY Gazelle and Rocks Off Purple Heart. Despite this though the Jopen Lust L2 is still a great toy, and I’d definitely recommend it for someone looking to get a clitoral vibrator that is perhaps a little less intense than some of my other recommend bullets.
Magic Wand Rechargeable
This is it, the pièce de résistance of my collection. Easily my favourite and most used toy, the Magic Wand Rechargeable is everything to me. I don’t think a week goes by when I don’t use this toy, and often I find myself using it almost every day. I never use it during sex or with any other toys, mostly because it is too big and bulky to be used while doing anything else. This is always just for ‘me’ time, and gives me some of my most satisfying orgasms ever.
Nu Sensuelle Point
The Nu Sensuelle Point has quickly become my favourite clitoral vibrator, making it my second most used toy in my toy box. Over time I think the button has become damaged a little, and turning it off and on can sometimes be a struggle, but this hasn’t stopped me from using it. I pretty much always use this toy during PIV sex, and it is also my main vibrator that I use when playing with my insertable toys. The vibrations inside it are powerful, and its hard plastic makes it feel even more intense than it actually is. I am also continually impressed with how well it holds its charge, as I use it fairly often yet barely ever have to recharge it.
Rocks Off Purple Heart
The Rocks Off Purple Heart gets used in a very similar way to the IMTOY Gazelle, as either a back-up toy, an alternative when I don’t want something as intense as my bullet vibrators, or when I want something softer that won’t catch my labia as much when I’m using insertable toys made of hard materials. It is also good for when I don’t know whether I want broad or pin-point stimulation, as this toy lets me easily switch between the two styles.
Satisfyer Pro Plus Vibration
I’ve loved all of the Satisfyer products I have tried so far, but to keep things organised I decided to only store my favourite in my toy box, and right now that title belongs to the Satisfyer Pro Plus Vibration. This particular Satisfyer totally changed the game from the previous two I had reviewed, by adding vibrations alongside the suction power, turning an already brilliant and intense orgasm-inducing machine into something even better! I really love it, and use this toy quite often by itself when I want some ‘me’ time.
We-Vibe Tango
The We-Vibe Tango was my favourite clitoral vibrator for a long time, and would still be if it wasn’t for the fact that it can no longer hold its charge. This seems to be a common issue for this popular little vibrator, and I’ve heard of bloggers having to buy multiple just to compensate. I would probably have done that too by now, if it wasn’t for the Nu Sensuelle Point providing a fantastic alternative. Still, if anyone ever offered me another Tango I would accept it in a heart beat. I do occasionally still use this one when I charge it, which is why it remains in my toy box, but I do find myself bothering to do this less and less these days.
Zumio
The Zumio sure was a unique toy, and I think it’s that fact that keeps it in my toy box more than anything. I do enjoy using it, but I find its intensity sometimes off-putting and I think that often keeps me from coming back for more. It’s definitely a toy that is heavily influenced by a person’s personal preferences, and I think perhaps it just isn’t really for me. But despite this it is a welcome addition to my toy box since I have nothing else that really compares to it.
Internal Vibrators
L’amourose Prism V
The L’amourose Prism V truly opened my eyes to the possibilities of G-Spot vibration, and as such it is my favourite internal vibrator. The vibrations are so satisfyingly rumbly and the design of the toy is perfectly curved to give maximum stimulation to my G-spot. Pair it with a good clitoral vibrator and I am in heaven with this toy. Plus it also comes in handy as a clitoral vibrator itself, which makes it a good back-up toy to have on hand. Sadly I believe L’amourose has since closed their doors, but there is still quite a lot of stock of this product floating around. I definitely wouldn’t wait to get my hands on one though, as I’m sure they will run out fast!
SenseMax SenseVibe Warm
The SenseMax SenseVibe Warm is easily my favourite rabbit / dual stimulation vibrator. It hugs around me perfectly, with one end resting against my G-Spot and the other laying on my clitoris. I love using this when I want a lot of stimulation but don’t want a lot of effort, as it does everything all by itself! This makes both using it and cleaning it a breeze, as I can just focus on it rather than multiple toys. Plus I love the travel case (which I continue to store it in) and the warming function.
Lubricant & Oils
Good Clean Love Almost Naked
I love the thicker style lubricant of the Good Clean Love Almost Naked, and I mainly use it with either my Satisfyer toys or my Kegel toys, such as my Nephrite Jade Yoni Egg. I find it works well for these two particular types of toys because I can apply it easily with my fingers without fear of making a mess or it running off, plus the thickness of the lube protects my clitoris a little when using the Satisfyer toys, and provides a nice cushion to any Kegel toys I am using.
Sliquid Sassy & Sea
Sliquid has been my favourite lubricant brand for a long time now, and they are still what I use the most. My favourite Sliquid lubricant is actually Satin, but sadly this isn’t included here as I am currently out. When I do have Satin around though then this is what I use for almost all of my lubricant needs, I just love the feel and texture of it. When I don’t have Satin around, I instead use Sea, which is quite similar but just a bit thinner. Then I always use Sassy for anything anal related, as it is my most thick lubricant and designed for this purpose.
Wildfire All Over Pleasure Oils
I love the Wildfire All Over Pleasure Oils, and currently have two bottles of their original formula, as well as one bottle each of “Enhance Her” and “Black”. I mostly use these as massage oils, either applying them to myself (I particularly love the original formula to help myself relax), or my partner and I applying them to each other. They are fantastic for foreplay, with natural aphrodisiacs included. We also use these for lubricant in the shower, as since they are oil-based they don’t just wash away like my other water-based lubricants would do.
Wildfire IT Arousal Oil
I found the Wildfire IT Arousal Oil a little much when I was reviewing it, as if too much was applied for too long it could often create a burning sensation. But despite this I do enjoy having stimulants like this included in my toy box, and this is one of the best I have tried so far. It gets used occasionally when I want to add a little something extra to masturbation or sex.
YES WB
I reviewed the YES WB water-based lubricant recently and was very happy with it. It was fairly similar to Sliquid Sea, so I expected it would probably act as a back-up to that lubricant after review. However, after publishing my thoughts Yes contacted me to let me know that the lubricant I had reviewed was far thinner than it was suppose to be, and the formula had likely gone bad. They sent me a new bottle which I am still in the process of re-reviewing, but now I find the texture more on par with my Good Clean Love Almost Naked. I’ll be updating the review soon and am enjoying using this better version of the lubricant, however I’m not quite sure where it will fit into my sex toy routine once I’m done.
Other
B-Vibe Snug Plug 2
I’m not currently as into butt plugs as I use to be, but even I was surprised to only find one currently inside my toy box! It makes sense that it is the B-Vibe Snug Plug 2 though, as this is easily the best anal toy I have ever tried. Silicone is definitely my preferred material when it comes to sex toys, but it was always frustrating buying silicone butt plugs to find that they really had no pleasurable weight to them. The Snug Plug really changed all that though, offering a weighted silicone plug with a brilliant design. Definitely a necessity for anyone who likes butt plugs!
Fifty Shades of Grey Delicious Pleasure Silicone Ben Wa Balls
I reviewed the Fifty Shades of Grey Delicious Pleasure Silicone Ben Wa Balls what feels like forever ago, and honestly I don’t think I’ve worn them since. But here they are, still sitting in my toy box in the hopes that I will use them. This is pretty much like any type of exercise equipment, you keep it around because you’re definitely going to use it soon, but then you never do. I like these because they did work well at strengthening my Kegel muscles, but they were so difficult to clean that it put me off. Hopefully one day I’ll get some new Kegel balls and then I can finally store these away where they belong.
Nephrite Jade Yoni Egg
I only recently reviewed this Nephrite Jade Yoni Egg, and I do hope it doesn’t get completely abandoned by me like with the FSOG Ben Wa Balls. It was great for strengthening my Kegels, but I also found I had a deeper connection with it and I really liked the idea of its healing properties. I do plan to continue using this regularly, but even if I don’t I do think I will be keeping it nearby in my toy box for a long time.
