Bestvibe Beinlove Tongue Rabbit

There is one big problem with buying sex toys, or really anything, online. As an anxiety-driven person, I am 100% here for the comfort and luxury of shopping from my own home, and this has never felt so important as when I started buying adult products. But as with clothes, shoes, glasses, and anything else where a “fit” really matters, looking at toys such as vibrators and dildos online, versus in person, can be a bit misleading. I’ve made plenty of mistakes over the years due to incorrect assumptions of how large or soft an item would be (always read the description and measurements carefully, folks!), with some notable errors being when I thought the Tantus Splish would be a fully-sized dildo (rather than the size of my finger) or when I assumed for years that the Uberrime Tentare Tentacle was too thick for me to insert (despite it being a small bullet vibrator cover the whole time). But even after almost six years of doing this professionally, it seems I still haven’t learned. So today we’re taking a look at the Bestvibe Beinlove Tongue Rabbit, a product I thought would be a clitoral suction toy, but is instead a fully blown clitoral pump.

Background

Browsing Bestvibe’s website is one of my favourite pastimes. From the terrible translations, absurd imagery, and toy designs that look like a 5-year old came up with them, it is simply guaranteed to cheer me up whenever I’m feeling down. So for years now I have been seeing the Beinlove Tongue Rabbit, or Beinlove Tongue Lick Rabbit Clitoris Nipple Vibrator as is its full name on the website, and I was determined to get it. Everything about its adorable bow-wearing pink rabbit head, which is then decapitated and has a tongue where its neck should be, makes me happy, and I’ve gone to great lengths over the years to try and get my hands on one, including emailing Bestvibe with pictures I’d previously saved of it whilst it was removed from their website for a short time. So you’d think after all this, I would have taken a closer look at the description and photos, but no. I believed it was a clitoral suction toy, which is my favourite type of sex toy, or maybe even just a clitoral stimulator, as the tongue design is very reminiscent of the Blush Novelties Aria Flutter Tongue. I also assumed it was roughly the same size as this, and before you say “Well Grace, there is clearly photos of it with life-sized sex dolls on the website”, I’d like to reiterate that Bestvibe’s website is full of weird shit, and I assumed they were not life-sized. Anyway, fast forward to a few weeks ago when I finally received it… and well my unboxing reaction really says it all.

Product Description

Bestvibe Beinlove Tongue Rabbit Tongue

The Bestvibe Beinlove Tongue Rabbit has two main functions, and that is to stimulate and to suck. The stimulation point, which is a large studded tongue, is able to move back and forth quickly over any erogenous zones it’s placed against, and in that regard is quite similar to the Aria Flutter Tongue, just much larger. Due to this it reminds me more of toys like the ZALO HERO and SVAKOM Siren, with the key difference being that rather than using residual vibrations to make a thin piece of silicone flick back and forth, the Beinlove’s tongue actually has a motor inside of it that is creating the movements. Then, in regards to the suction, this is unlike anything I’ve tried before, as rather than just a small pea-sized nozzle designed for gentle air pressure waves on the clitoris, like what Womanizer and Satisfyer have made popular in recent years, the Beinlove features a hole about the size of my fist, so that it can fully cover the vulva or nipple to produce a pumping sensation, where the longer it is applied to the skin the more intense it becomes. Due to this, it is really more of a pump than a suction toy, and since this is not mentioned on Bestvibe’s website I do feel the fault isn’t fully mine for misunderstanding the true nature of this product.

There are three pieces that make up this toy, with the main element being its stylised rabbit head, which features two ears and a bow (which don’t have any function other than to look cute), alongside two love heart eyes which double as the product’s buttons. On the back of this is then the USB charging hole, and at the very bottom is the squishy tongue. Only available in one colour, which is light pink, the head then uses a beautifully silky body-safe silicone for its material. Now, according to all of the information I’ve found, the tongue is supposed to be silicone as well, but I have a hard time believing that as it feels completely different from the rest of the product, being tacky in a way that only porous materials usually are. Typically when I doubt the safety of a material I will either flame test it or refuse to review it, but since this can be used for external use only and setting it on fire will likely destroy the motor within the tongue, I’ve given it a pass for now. The other two pieces are then the detachable suction cups, and I was actually initially surprised by the inclusion of two of them since they look identical at first glance. But while one is perfectly round, the other is oval-shaped, presumably so they can be switched out depending on your body type or what you’re using them for. Plus, while these are also supposed to be silicone, they definitely are not, since silicone cannot be produced with this level of transparency. Not to mention they have an extremely intense smell to them (a common feature of unsafe materials) which makes both my partner and I feel very nauseous. Visually though the toy is fun, with really the only downsides being a unexplained hole in the silicone between the ears (this is also in photos on the website, so it’s not just a fluke), and the suction cups which are covered in marks and get messy very easily. Finally, while the website does state the toy is waterproof, I do not believe this is the case, as the instructions specify it is only water-resistant and cannot be submerged.

Packaging

Bestvibe Beinlove Tongue Rabbit Packaging
Even the instructions and packaging couldn’t agree on a name.

Bestvibe sent the Beinlove Tongue Rabbit to me on the 16th of January and I received it promptly by the 25th. The package didn’t list who had sent it, but the contents were labelled as “plastic massage”, which really isn’t the most discreet, and for my full unboxing you can check this out. The box for the toy itself was then quite large, which is what first made me worry that the product might be far bigger than I had originally assumed. Black and made of thin card, this packaging is mostly blank asides from the front, which features a mix of English and Chinese text alongside a size-accurate photo of the toy and some information on it. Despite being marketed as a Bestvibe product, all of the branding and names on this box are completely different (which is fairly common with items from white-label retailers, but usually not this intensely), with the manufacturer being listed as Quer and the toy being called the Tina Masturbator. Listed as being for “Breast massage, the clitoris stimulation, and backyard playing”, the Beinlove’s box can then be opened from the top and a plastic insert can be removed to show the toy, its two attachments, and the charging cord all together. A small instruction manual then also comes with the item, however this is entirely in Chinese, and even my Google Translator is having issues with it, presumably because the text is so small. Overall, regardless of what I thought the toy was going to be, I have to say that my first impressions of it were not good. From the oversized box featuring vastly different branding, to the intense smell of the item, incorrect material listings, and confusing instructions (just to name a few), I can’t help but say that I genuinely regretted asking for this item upon opening it.

Charging

Bestvibe Beinlove Tongue Rabbit Charging

Since the Beinlove Tongue Rabbit is USB rechargeable, charging it is easy. Simply plug one end of the charging cord into the hole at the back of the toy (the first time you do this you may need to press quite firmly to break through the silicone seal, and you may also then want to remove this spare silicone so it doesn’t get in the way), and the other end into a USB port. However, I do find that sometimes this doesn’t work, and so you may need to remove the cord and try again until the lights on the buttons begin to flash. Plus, the charging cord has to be the shortest I’ve ever seen, as at only 60cm it is quite inconvenient to use. Once plugged in the lights on the toy will flash, and when these become solid the charging is complete. Charging should then take around 2-2.5 hours, but unfortunately I have been unable to find any information on how long it should then be able to be used for.

Controls

Despite the instructions being in a different language, I have found the controls to be pretty easy to figure out and use on the Beinlove Tongue Rabbit. To start, just hold down the left button, which is labelled as m1 for some reason, for 1.5 seconds until it lights up (although it can be difficult to tell as your finger will be over the light). This puts the toy in stand-by mode, and you can then continue clicking this button to cycle through the tongue’s seven modes, three of which are steady speeds and four of which are patterns. At any point you can also press the other button, m2, to turn on the suction mode, which will work regardless of whether the attachments are in place. This apparently has five modes that can be cycled through, however they’re all very similar except for slightly different lengths of suction. You can then turn this off again by holding down the m2 button for 1.5 seconds, which will leave the tongue or stand-by mode turned on. Finally, to turn off the whole thing just hold down the m1 button again for 1.5 seconds. Overall I think all of this works really well, and I actually have no complaints.

First Impressions

Bestvibe Beinlove Tongue Rabbit
While too clear to be silicone, smudges & marks on the cups make them nowhere near as transparent as the images on Bestvibe’s website.

The first time I turned this toy on I really had no idea what to expect. In terms of the tongue I found its movement quite good, as even though it obviously cannot move anywhere near as quickly as a toy like the ZALO HERO, since there is actually something inside of it, this did at least allow for the movement to feel much more powerful than the usual light flicking sensations of other products. As for the suction however, I had even less of an idea of what it was going to be like, and so while working out how to use the buttons I placed it on my chest. I left it there for maybe 30 seconds, until I noticed the cup had started to invert, and when I removed it I was extremely surprised to find that it had left a massive red mark, similar to that of a hickey, which was somewhat painful. At the time I was quite horrified by this, but after doing more research into pump-style products I realise this is probably pretty normal, and similar to the art of cupping. Still, as someone who is not well acquainted with that sort of play it freaked me out big time, and even after six days the mark remains, which has meant I’ve been unable to wear any low-cut outfits for the week. So I really feel that a warning about this should have been included on the website, packaging or instructions, as if I can make this mistake others are bound to, and for some it may be much more serious. As for the noise level, both functions on this toy are incredibly noisy and feature quite mechanised sounds, and so I absolutely wouldn’t recommend this product if you have a need to be discreet.

My Experience

Initially when testing the Beinlove Tongue Rabbit I tried it without the suction cups, especially after being scared off from them after hurting my chest. I found the tongue’s movements to feel quite good on my clitoris, and it was actually nice to have such a large element stimulating it as opposed to most other smaller designs, going a long way to actually replicating the feeling of oral sex. However it ultimately felt a little one note, and as soon as I placed it too close to me the motor would slow down or shut off, which made it difficult to get anywhere as I like a lot of pressure on my clit when I masturbate. As for using it on my breasts, this was a similar situation. Next I tried it with the suction cups, although while I initially thought the oval one would be best for my vulva, I haven’t actually found a difference between the two in use. When placed over my nipple the toy is able to create a seal and pump quite well, and I have not experienced any marks or lingering effects once it is removed. But while I was quite looking forward to using the toy in this way, I have found that it doesn’t really give any enhancement of pleasure like I thought it would, and as my nipple swells up it just means that the tongue gets stuck on one side and stops moving. As for using it on my vulva, I was disappointed to find that I was unable to create a seal despite many attempts, and so even though I hyped myself up for using it in this way I haven’t really been able to experience it. Despite this though, using it like this has still been my favourite method for the Beinlove, as even though it cannot pump I find that the cup acts as a buffer, so that I can press down as hard as I want (thus creating the illusion of pressure) whilst allowing the tongue to keep moving. As such this has been the only way I’ve been able to achieve orgasm with this toy, but I must say that even this has not been all that satisfying, and really just gives off the feel of being teased. Finally, I did not test the toy internally or on my “backyard”, as suggested on the website and packaging, due to my concerns over the tongue’s material.

Cleaning & Care

Bestvibe Beinlove Tongue Rabbit Suction Cups
I can practically smell them through this image.

Cleaning the Bestvibe Beinlove Tongue Rabbit is fairly easy since it is water-resistant, but since it cannot be submerged you do need to be careful. To clean the tongue just wipe it down with some warm soapy water and rinse, and you can do the same for any other elements of the main toy that may have gotten dirty. As for the suction cups, they can be submerged, but all they really need is a quick wipe down as well. After this you can leave them to air dry (note that this can take a very long time, as the toy almost always seems to be leaking water), and if you notice any discolouration or changes to the material of either the cups or tongue due to the potentially porous materials then discontinue use immediately. Items can then be stored in a zip-lock bag to keep dust away from them, and you should avoid using silicone-based lubricant with this product.

Final Thoughts

I’ve tried a lot of strange sex toys over the years, but the Beinlove Tongue Rabbit really takes the cake, so much so that multiple times over the course of this review I had to stop and seriously consider letting Bestvibe know I would not be able to complete it. First there was the obvious misunderstanding of the nature of the toy, and I accept that this is partly my fault. But then there was the fact that this toy is listed to be made only of silicone and ABS plastic, despite the suction cup and potentially even the tongue being clearly made of jelly or TPE. Plus, even though the use of unsafe materials matters less when used for external toys, it’s still absolutely not on that they’re lying about this, and so this is something I will be bringing up with them personally. Then there was then smell of the suction cups, which has turned both my partner and I’s stomach on more than one occasion and made testing quite difficult (he flat out refused to go near it, and I don’t blame him), among numerous other things. Perhaps the only good part of this review was controls, because right after that it was all downhill, with the whole ‘blood vessels on my chest bursting so badly that I still have marks a week later’ situation. Plus, even when I finally got to testing it, it didn’t even work properly, giving me some incredibly unsatisfying orgasms. Overall I’ve got to say that this is easily one of the worst reviews I’ve ever completed, so I’ll leave you with just one piece of advice: run away, run away!!

The Bestvibe Beinlove Tongue Rabbit has now been discontinued.

  1. I’ve been looking forward to your take on this toy. That is horrible that it left a mark! Yeah, no way those cups are silicone! As far as suction, I found that a little lube created a better seal for suction.
