Bullet vibrators are, in my opinion, the most important sex toy there is. And, if I could, I would gift one to everyone. Why? Well, as much as I love using wand massagers and clit suckers, they aren’t essential. But during PIV sex, I honestly don’t know where I would be without a trusty bullet. Not to mention that bullets can be enjoyed anywhere by anyone (just not anally!), and are also often necessary additions for so many other toys, from butt plugs and G-Spot vibrators, to grinders and harnesses. Because of all this, I tend to go through bullets more frequently than other types of sex toys, and I always have at least three in rotation next to my bed in case batteries are running low the moment the mood strikes. Yet, somehow, it has now been over two years since my last bullet review, and so I was thrilled when Peepshow Toys offered to send me the new BMS Swan Maximum Bullet for review.
Review: Funzze 9″ Fantasy Dildo
I’ve loved watching the rise of the independent fantasy maker over the last few years, but one downside to the trend is the high costs associated with these products. Now, I don’t mean to imply that these toys aren’t worth their prices, of course they are. The amount of time and effort that goes into creating unique designs and then hand-crafting them to ensure maximum appeal, pleasure and safety is huge, and that’s without even considering the cost of silicone, equipment, and all of the other fees and skill sets required to run any small business. Yet I am also aware that it has created a divide between those who can and those who cannot afford them, therefore making anyone looking for a cheaper option more susceptible to instead accepting, either knowingly or unknowingly, a toy made of unsafe materials as an alternative. So, when I saw Funzze had their own version of a fantasy dildo, and for less than $40 USD, I knew it was something I had to investigate further.
Review: Hot Octopuss PULSE QUEEN
I’m someone who values quality over quantity, which is a trait you’ll notice many of my favourite sex toy manufacturers share. Yet even I have been starting to get a little impatient waiting for the next Hot Octopuss release. I’ve tried every single one of their vaginal toys (as well as a few of their masturbators) since they started making them back in 2017, although while that sounds impressive there have actually only been four, with one of those since being discontinued. It has to be one of the smallest collections of any award-winning adult brand, but whatever they’re doing it’s working, with all three of the currently available products being absolutely top notch and some of the best toys I own. Yet it’s now been almost four years since the last release, so where’s my new obsession? Well, it turns out we have to first go back to that discontinued toy.
Review: PlayfulSexToy Sam IV
I don’t know about you, but lately I’ve been seeing this kind of sex toy everywhere. A whole new breed of G-Spot vibrator, where the internal arm features a hollow area containing a flapping finger for additional stimulation whilst inside of you, my initial impression was to dismiss the whole thing as a novelty gag. But with it coming up again and again, and Honey Play Box just now receiving the patent for it (dubbing it “Kinky Finger” flapping technology), I knew I had to start taking it a bit more seriously. One of the biggest sellers of these “flappers”, my preferred term, is PlayfulSexToy, so when they recently came on board as one of my blog advertisers, I saw about reviewing one. Their signature line, Sam, combines this technology with an external arm to allow it work for dual-stimulation, and with four different generations available it was hard to know which one to pick. Ultimately though I had to go with PlayfulSexToy’s most recent release, the Sam IV.
Review: Funzze Glass Tentacle
I love browsing the new arrivals section at Funzze to see all the latest sex toys they’re offering. Not only are they surprisingly high-quality and enjoyable products for a white-label retailer (so much so that they dominated last year’s Top 10 Sex Toys), but they are also some of the cheapest on the market. So when I recently saw they had launched a new range of glass toys, my first impression was one of excitement, especially when I noticed their Glass Tentacle dildo, a style I have been wanting to review for a long time. But… after this initial reaction, I hesitated. Even though I regularly talk about glass sex toys and how safe they are, I have actually only reviewed a few, and that was some time ago. Funzze’s options, to make matters even more uncertain, are made of borosilicate glass, yet are not annealed. I ended up doing a lot of research, and you can probably guess the outcome…
Review: Honey Play Box Joi Thrust 2
As a fan of Honey Play Box’s Joi (so much so I even gave one away last year!), it’s been exciting to see this now award-winning vibrator get the love it deserves. And with the US-based brand unsurprisingly capitalising on this success, a number of follow-up toys have since been added to what is now the Joi collection. I wanted so badly to get my hands on either the Joi Pro or Joi Thrust when they first came out, with the former including a remote control and the latter offering thrusting and app compatibility, but prior obligations meant I was unable. So I bided my time, and after my reviews of the OLY 2 and RORA 2 a few months ago, I knew a similar version of the Joi with advanced capabilities couldn’t be far off. And I was right, because here I am now with the new Honey Play Box Joi Thrust 2.
