Klitton I

We hear the phrase “size doesn’t matter” a lot in this industry, but lately it seems like everything is getting smaller! From the exciting new Magic Wand Micro, to my recent review on the Pink Punch Sunset Mushroom, it’s cool to be small these days. Not only does it allow products to be more versatile, working in a greater range of positions and situations, but it offers more privacy too, with toys taking up less space and thus easier to hide or take with you on the go. Plus, a smaller body generally means a smaller motor, which results in less noise. The flip side of this, however, is that it can also mean less power, something these toys are hoping to debunk once and for all. Yet no product has more reason to prove this than the smallest vibrator I’ve ever seen, the Klitton I.

The Brand

It’s my first time working with Klitton, who are a new manufacturer based in Romania. Aiming to become the ultimate destination for sex toys, they believe in igniting desires and providing a discreet experience, while still catering to their customer’s unique preferences. Their flagship product, the Klitton I, is the only toy currently available at their website, and its small shape is designed with privacy in mind. Although as Klitton continues to develop more products, their customers remain their top priority, and they hope to offer more high-quality toys that don’t compromise on safety or discretion soon. In the meantime, shipping is just to those in the US, and if you do purchase, you can enjoy a two-year warranty on all orders.

Product Description

With a length of 2.17″ / 5.5cm, width of 1.26″ / 3.2cm, and depth of 0.43″ / 1.1cm, I wasn’t joking when I said the Klitton I was small. It is also incredibly lightweight, coming in at just 23g. Covered in body-safe silicone, with the only exception to this being the two small magnetic charging plates on one side, it then has a pebble-like shape. Yet three of its four edges feature a small notch, which not only offers some variety to its shape, but also allows for any of the five elastic bands that it comes with to be attached. This really reinforces the Klitton I’s second objective after privacy, and that is versatility. Whilst this toy can easily be used as a simple clitoral or panty vibrator, thanks to its included remote control, these bands also allow it to be attached to your body as a wearable toy, secured to furniture, and so forth. Whilst the Klitton I itself comes in both purple and pink (which is what I have), the bands are blue, purple and pink, and whilst I love the idea of these, I should point out that they do appear to just be small hair ties. The silicone on the toy is then soft, particularly around the edges, which are also semi-flexible. Finally, a single button can be found on the same side as the charging plates (with the other side being completely smooth), and in addition to being USB rechargeable, this toy is also fully waterproof.

Packaging

Klitton I packaging

My order for the Klitton I was placed with Klitton on the 24th of September and I received it promptly on the 28th, which was great timing considering it was an international delivery. Plus, the package was also 100% discreet, with no mention of the sender or what was inside. As for the packaging for the Klitton I itself, this was then fairly simple, being a small black box just featuring the Klitton logo and their tagline, “vibes unleashed”, on the front. However, on each of the four sides of this box, Klitton have placed care information and disclaimers in a variety of languages, with the first two lines stating “The use of this product is solely at the user’s own risk. [Klitton] will not be held responsible or liable for any damages or injuries resulting from the use of this product”. Now, I’m sure this kind of notice is super normal, but typically it’s included in the fine print in the toy’s instructions. Klitton’s choice to instead have it in prominent writing on their box, means it is likely the first thing you’ll read when receiving this toy, and it’s a real mood killer. It also takes away from the box’s otherwise discreet and minimalist nature, which is a shame. Opening this up, you’ll then find the toy resting safely in foam alongside its charging cord and remote, as well as a small storage bag which holds the Klitton I’s five coloured bands. No manual is included, which explains the writing on the box, but this doesn’t even cover everything, and so for further instructions you can find a PDF manual at their website.

Charging

Klitton I charging and batteries
The remote’s battery compartment has its directions pointing the wrong way, which is why I ended up damaging it.

To charge the Klitton I, simply plug one end of the charger into a USB port and then place the other end over the metal plates on the toy, which should allow the two to connect magnetically. These magnets are fairly stable, however they can occasionally disconnect, so be mindful of this when placing it down. Once on charge, a light on the toy should flash, with this becoming solid upon completion, and it should take one hour to give you roughly one hour of playtime. Additionally, Klitton recommends charging the toy before first use. As for the remote, this uses a CR2032 battery, which is included.

Controls

With only a single button to control it, the Klitton I works similar to a bullet vibrator. This simple system is not only easy to remember, but also helps with the fact that there aren’t any instructions included. To turn it on, just hold down the button until it vibrates twice and the light turns on, placing it in stand-by mode. You can then continue clicking the button to cycle through the toy’s ten vibration modes, three of which are steady speeds and seven of which are patterns. Finally, when done you can simply hold down the button again to turn it off.

The Remote

Klitton I remote

A small black plastic remote is included with the toy, although despite the fact that it has two buttons, one more than on the Klitton I itself, the remote doesn’t actually offer any greater control of the toy. Instead, it is just helpful for using the toy from afar, whether that’s during partner play or simply because it’s somewhere difficult to access, such as in your underwear. To use the remote, the toy will first need to be in stand-by mode. You can then use the button on the remote with the zigzag symbol to control the toy in the same way as the button on the Klitton I itself, clicking it to cycle through the ten modes. Plus, at any time when the vibrations are running, you can press the power symbol button on the remote to turn them off and place the toy back into stand-by mode. This is particularly helpful during times you need to be discreet, allowing you to instantly pause the toy.

First Impressions

My biggest concern with the Klitton I was whether the vibrations would be good enough, due to what I can only imagine is the very small size of its motor. Plus, since this is all the toy really offers, there would be nowhere to hide if they weren’t. Unfortunately, my fears were confirmed when I turned it on, only to be greeted with some of the weakest and most buzzy vibrations I’ve ever felt in a sex toy. The upside to this is the noise level, which is quite low, especially on the first steady speed. And considering the Klitton I is designed for privacy, this was good news indeed. Whilst you still wouldn’t be able to wear it as a panty vibe somewhere quiet, such as a museum or library, it would definitely work at a club, cinema, or even in most outdoor spaces.

My Experience

Klitton I with bands

The Klitton I is quite an unusual design, and using it, I started to get a sense of why it hasn’t been done before. If I simply place it against me, whether in my underwear or when on my back, the vibrations are too weak to be felt. The lack of weight contributes to this in the latter example, with even gravity not being enough to keep it in place. Then, if I instead spread my labia so that it is against my clitoris, the width of the toy is too long to comfortably fit, whilst the other way is too short. So what ends up happening is that it twists diagonally, which isn’t ideal. I suppose this is why clitoral vibrators usually fall into two categories: the bullet-shape or the curved-to-fit-you-shape. You can, at least, tightly close your legs around it, and it is this that allows for hands-free use of the Klitton I. Then, whilst the vibrations aren’t enough to bring me to orgasm by themselves, they do work to provide some foreplay-style stimulation. And when I’m ready to take it to the next level, rubbing the toy against me with my hand is all it takes. Unsurprisingly this has become my favourite way to use the Klitton I, and while I’m not sure it was the intention for the toy, I feel like its small size works perfectly as an extension to my hand. Plus, this also goes well with the toy’s included bands, however since they aren’t really necessary, I’ve tended to forgo them, as the extra cleaning it results in just isn’t worth it (and since they’re made of fabric, I’m not sure they’re all that safe to be getting messy anyway).

Extended wear is another area where the Klitton I shines. Whilst I do experience the issues with placement as mentioned above, I’ve ultimately found using it vertically, so that one of the shorter edges is against me, is the best way to go about it. My advice though would be to wear tight underwear, as the toy is so small that anything looser will not be able to hold it in place. When first turned on, the vibrations are quite enjoyable, and very exciting too if the remote is controlled by your partner. The problem, though, is that because they are so buzzy, they start to numb you out and instead make you feel itchy after a couple of minutes. Due to this, I’d recommend using the Klitton I in short bursts, which thankfully is easy due to the remote’s pause button.

Cleaning & Care

Cleaning the Klitton I is easy since it is made of silicone and fully waterproof. Simply wipe it down with some warm soapy water and then rinse, taking care to wash out the grooves around the button if this has gotten bodily fluids on it (I’d recommend always using the smooth side against you to avoid this). Afterwards you can leave it to air dry, before returning it to its storage bag. Additionally, do not use silicone-based lubricants with this toy, as it may compromise the silicone it is made of.

Final Thoughts

Klitton I with storage bag

There’s no denying that the smaller the toy, the more discreet it is. Not only is it easier to conceal, but it’s most likely going to be quieter too, and it is for these reasons that the Klitton I is worthwhile. And yet, the double-edged sword to all this, is power. Can a toy as small as the Klitton I really have strong vibrations? I think it’s possible. Nevertheless, the question remains unanswered for now. For the new manufacturer’s very first product, I think this is a good attempt at creating something different in an industry so full of repetition, and for that I have a lot of respect. And while the Klitton I needs work, it was able to give me some satisfying orgasms with just a little encouragement from my hand, and using it for extended wear was also enjoyable. Plus, even though there are other smaller panty-style vibrators out there, such as the We-Vibe Moxie, the Klitton I has one last trick up its sleeve: its budget-friendly price. With this in mind, I’d recommend this to anyone looking for a low cost, quiet, discreet, and most of all small vibe, although I do hope we don’t have to wait too long till we see a Klitton II!

  1. As usual you assholes, once again, think only females get great sex toys! When in the hell are you going to
Wake up to the fact there are two sex’s/genders on this planet. Not just females. You keep bullshitting the public that new and improved male sex toys are selling more and more each year. You know that’s a GD lie. What you’re selling in male sex toys is substandard, out dated, pieces of garbage, I wouldn’t buy my worst enemy. Get off your lazy, non caring, bottom line attitude and give males what males want, not what you selectively think the male is allowed to have

    • You keep leaving these comments Lonn, but may I suggest you read a more male-focused review blog instead, as I am not surprised you are not getting the kind of content you seek here.

  2. I have been waiting for this review ever since I saw your post on Instagram. Out of curiosity, I looked up the brands’ website and honestly, it is so tiring seeing the white-label toys popping up marketed as something innovative. A Romanian company that doesn’t even ship to Romania (shipping is only to US on their site) or have the manual in Romanian? As a Romanian myself, I got really excited about this, but it seems that it’s just another Aliexpress type of toy. What a bummer.

    • As far as I can tell this is not a white-label toy, although it still could quite possibly be one. That’s a damn shame about the shipping though and thank you for letting me know. It says worldwide shipping all over their website, but you’re right. Hopefully they can change this soon.

PS. I saw your other comment, and please know I never delete negative comments. They just all have to go through manual review, otherwise it’d be immediately overrun with spam.

      • Thank you for clearing that up. I apologise for the comment I left.

I hope the company sorts the shipping out as it makes no sense to be “based in Romania” but not ship there. That’s what gave the dropshipping/white-label red flag to me.

    • Thank you Walt for your comment/review.
No it is not a white label as i am the designer and founder of Klitton. It took 7 months in R&D to create Klitton-I.

As for not including Romanian language, respectfully, major languages were used like everyone else; otherwise we need 100s. Appreciate your bias to your native language and culture however you write perfect english.
Please do not hesitate to contact me at info [at] klitton [dot] com for any inquiry.
