When I first tried the Honey Play Box app for my review of their original OLY, they only had a handful of compatible toys that ran alongside it. So, when the US brand recently got back in touch about reviewing their OLY 2, I was delighted to see that in addition to the app’s new range of features, there were also many more products designed to work with it. Some of these, such as the OLY and JOI, are now in their second or even third generations, and it is one such toy that I’ll be reviewing today. The new RORA 2 is the successor to Honey Play Box’s popular RORA dual-stimulator, which brings 360° rotations to the G-Spot. And whilst I don’t own the original, it seems that, like the OLY 2, the only real changes here are the new app-related features, such as voice control, pressure sensing and temperature detection.

I’m such a fan of Honey Play Box, that when I tried their new app for the first time a few months ago, I was a bit taken aback. The app itself was fine, a little weird to navigate and without any social features, but otherwise it did what it needed to do. Instead, it was the app on Honey Play Box’s website and the instructions included with my OLY that was not fine… because it was completely different! Not only did the two apps look nothing alike, but many of the advertised features simply didn’t exist on the real thing, causing concerns of false advertising. Of course I let Honey Play Box know my worries, and they quickly got to work updating their website to match the current version. But by then I had finished my testing, and never got the chance to revisit it. Until today, that is, for my review of the Honey Play Box OLY 2!

We hear the phrase “size doesn’t matter” a lot in this industry, but lately it seems like everything is getting smaller! From the exciting new Magic Wand Micro, to my recent review on the Pink Punch Sunset Mushroom, it’s cool to be small these days. Not only does it allow products to be more versatile, working in a greater range of positions and situations, but it offers more privacy too, with toys taking up less space and thus easier to hide or take with you on the go. Plus, a smaller body generally means a smaller motor, which results in less noise. The flip side of this, however, is that it can also mean less power, something these toys are hoping to debunk once and for all. Yet no product has more reason to prove this than the smallest vibrator I’ve ever seen, the Klitton I.

I’ve already tested a handful of app-controlled toys in 2023, but so far none of them have offered the convenience that makes me want to keep using the app in my spare time. Since I’m mostly using toys solo, the best way to incorporate apps into my routine is during extended wear, rather than bedside play. This is what I had hoped for with my recent review of the We-Vibe Ditto+, but with glitches getting in the way of any enjoyment, I was instead left feeling unfilled. After such a long year, it seemed only right I started 2021 off with one of my most anticipated reviews. In fact, not only has this particular item garnered a lot of attention since I announced I was testing it, but it has also been one of my most requested toys for years now. The Lovense Lush 2 was sent to me by the wonderful folks over at JOUJOU, and was the hotly awaited follow-up to the legendary Lush vibrator. But even though this upgrade came out all the way back in 2018, it remains one of the most popular sex toys out there. Why? Well, even if you don’t know anything about sex toys, chances are you’ve seen this one before, because it is absolutely massive in the cam performers community. Visit any cam site and you’ll immediately see it featured on the streams of countless performers (just look out for the little pink string), as they all take advantage of the product’s integrated room features and token-based vibrations. But while it’s obvious that Lovense have made their toy almost a necessity for streamers, what I’m left wondering is whether it’s actually worth it for the rest of us.
