Share Satisfaction Coco

I spend a lot of time at the blog talking about the flourishing independent dildo maker scene happening in Australia and New Zealand right now. In fact, I even did a full round-up all about the various local small businesses that have recently started selling their own lubricants. But one of the things I haven’t discussed nearly enough is the exciting range of vibrators currently being produced down under. Stores such as Frenchie, LBDO, Normal and Vacation Vibes are just some of the brands leading the charge in Australia right now, whilst across the pond we have Wellington success story Share Satisfaction. I remember watching as their flagship product, Kama, became one of the country’s best-selling sex toys in 2020 and 2021, and since then I’ve been eager to get my hands on their products to try. So when they recently reached out and asked if I would like to review their Coco, it was an instant yes!

The Brand

Share Satisfaction was founded in 2019 by Taslim Parsons in order to give New Zealand its first complete luxury sex toy brand. Designed with the consumer in mind, their biggest focus is on providing high-quality toys that are both accessible and pleasurable. Primarily offering white-label products to keep prices low, their core Premium Range presents a selection of vibrators, including viral sensations Kama and Sutra, and all of these feature body-safe silicone and USB rechargeability. In addition, they also offer a number of other collections, including those for glass toys, strokers, metal butt plugs, dildos, BDSM gear, and other pleasure essentials. While you can find a list of stockists at their website if you are in Australia or New Zealand, customers in the USA can instead purchase direct thanks to their Amazon store.

Product Description

The Share Satisfaction Coco is your typical suction stimulator. What sets it apart from the rest, however, is its unusual size, as at just 11.5cm / 4.5″ in length, this is one of the smallest air pressure wave toys that I have tried. The idea here is to up the discretion, making it easier for travel (although it doesn’t have a travel lock) or just hiding in your underwear drawer. Outside of this, the shape is very reminiscent of classic stimulators such as the Satisfyer Pro 2, although unlike many designs which use a plastic body and removal silicone head, the Coco is fully covered in a silky smooth body-safe silicone, which I prefer (although it does mean you cannot switch the nozzle out for an alternative size). On the back you’ll find a small reflective rose gold panel with the toy’s name on it, which helps add a sense of luxury, and under this is the hole for the charger. As for the front, this features the Coco’s three buttons, which are again bordered by the reflective plastic, as well as the Share Satisfaction logo. Coming in six fun colours, pink, purple, red, orange, blue, and black, there is an option for everyone, and with a waterproof rating of IPX7 you’ll be able to increase sensation by using it in the bath too. Finally, this toy is also USB rechargeable and comes with a 12 month warranty.

Packaging

Share Satisfaction Coco Packaging

Since I received the Coco directly from Share Satisfaction, who only sell through their stockists in Australia, I won’t go into the shipping details. The box was then fairly basic, being made from a thin cardboard, and even though it has a door which can open and allow you to see the toy prior to opening it, which I usually like, with no magnets to hold it in place when closed, it doesn’t really work and just highlights issues such as the glue coming loose and unprinted card. Opening this up, I then found the Coco resting safely in foam, alongside its charging cord, a branded storage pouch, and a small piece of card featuring instructions, safety and warranty information. Overall, in view of its price I thought this was all fine, but considering this is part of Share Satisfaction’s Premium range, I certainly wouldn’t use that adjective to describe this first impression. Additionally, one of the main advertising points on the box is that the Coco has “Smart Controls”, which these days is synonymous with app and smart phone control, but I think I should point out that this is not the case with the Coco and nothing about its controls is remotely “Smart”, so I am unsure why this terminology has been used outside of the marketing team wanting to throw in a quick buzzword.

Charging

Share Satisfaction Coco Storage Bag and Charging

Since the Coco is USB Rechargeable, charging it is easy. Simply plug one end of the charging cord into a USB port and the other into the hole on the toy. Charging should then take 2 hours, and this will give you around 60-90 minutes of play time depending on which speed it’s on, with an LED light flashing during charge and then becoming solid once the battery is full. Additionally, Share Satisfaction recommends giving the toy an initial charge of 4 to 6 hours before your first use.

Controls

Whilst the Share Satisfaction Coco’s controls may not be “Smart”, they are perfectly fine for a sex toy of this type. With a reasonable three buttons, they are clearly labeled with a plus symbol, power symbol and minus symbol, meaning you don’t even need to refer to the instructions to work out how to use it. Simply hold the power button down to turn the Coco on, which will place it on its lowest speed, and then press the plus button to increase the suction intensity through 10 modes. At any point you can press the minus button to decrease this, and to turn the toy off simply hold down the power button again. Overall this all worked well and is how I like suction toys to function, with my only complaint being how odd a choice it was to put the power button between the plus and minus buttons, as it makes switching between these two during use more difficult than need be.

First Impressions

The biggest issue I have when reviewing suction stimulators outside of patent-holders Womanizer and Satisfyer’s catalogs, is that brands often use poor, and sometimes even dangerous, alternatives to air pressure waves in order to avoid copyright issues. But thankfully it seems that the Share Satisfaction Coco’s suction is the real thing, creating a strong pull sensation when my finger is applied to its nozzle. On that note, I quite like the shape of the nozzle, which tapered inwards, helping to create a suction feeling before the product is even on, alongside soft cushioning silicone. Finally, while the Coco is slightly louder than a whisper as advertised, it is certainly very quiet and a stand-out in my suction collection for its low volume.

My Experience

Placing the Share Satisfaction Coco over my clitoris is easy due to its large nozzle, and I love the slow build up it creates over its ten suction frequencies. The top speed is intense, and it doesn’t take long for me to have some extremely satisfying orgasms, or multiple. The problem, however, is that at $80 AUD at the time of writing, the Coco costs the exact same amount as the iconic Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation. Recently coming in at Number 2 on my Top 10 Sex Toys of 2022, there is a reason this suction stimulator has been one of the best selling sex toys worldwide for years now, and in this regard the Coco just can’t compare, with the Pro 2 offering far superior suction. What’s more, I have a big issue with the controls of the Coco when I’m actually using it. Unlike most suction toys, the Coco’s buttons are on the same side as the nozzle, which means that rather than having this area against your skin, you instead need to hold the toy in such a way that they can be accessed. To make matters worse, the plus button, which I obviously use the most, is so close to the nozzle that trying to reach it is quite difficult, requiring me to place my hand into an uncomfortable position and making it hard to maintain a seal around my clitoris. It would have made so much more sense for the power button to be nearest the nozzle, not only because it isn’t used as frequently, but so that the plus and minus buttons could be more easily switched between. So with this in mind, the Satisfyer Pro 2 is both more pleasurable and easier to use. The one real advantage that the Coco has is its ability to be discreet, as not only is it a lot smaller than the Pro 2, it is quieter as well. Similarly, the slightly more expensive Womanizer Starlet 3 is also more powerful and matches the Coco in size, but again this is louder.

It’s also worth noting that the Coco’s instructions say “you can use both ends of this lovely vibrator. The tail end has a variable frequency vibration”. While I understand the desire to make toys multifunctional, this is simply bad advice and I would not recommend it. While there are some very minor residual vibrations in the handle as a result of the air pressure waves, I do not believe these would be enough to really stimulate a person. You could certainly try, but this shouldn’t be included as a factor when considering purchasing the Coco.

Cleaning & Care

Cleaning the Share Satisfaction Coco is quick and easy since it is fully waterproof and intended for external use only. Simply wipe it down with some warm soapy water (or soak for a short amount of time if fluids have dried), and then rinse and leave to air dry. After that, you can store it in the drawstring pouch it came with. Additionally, make sure to not use silicone-based lubricants with this toy, as it may damage the silicone it is made of.

Final Thoughts

Share Satisfaction Coco Back

I really loved testing the Share Satisfaction Coco. It features strong suction stimulation which builds nicely over its ten speeds to offer immensely pleasurable orgasms. The only downside was its controls, which I found difficult to use because of their proximity to the nozzle, making it hard to increase the toy’s speed without breaking the seal around my clitoris. But even this could have been ignored if the price was right. Unfortunately for Share Satisfaction, they seem to be, perhaps inadvertently, picking a fight they cannot win. With the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation generally costing either the same or less than the Coco, depending on the store you look at, this legendary toy is hard to beat, and not just from a marketing perspective, but in regards to pleasure as well. Thankfully the Coco does have one trick left up its sleeve, and that is its ability to be discreet, being considerably smaller and quieter than the Pro 2. So, if you’re planning a trip away sometime soon, have a reason to keep things private, or would just rather support a small local business, then the Coco should be your go to. For everyone else, it seems Satisfyer win once again.

  1. That is so odd that the buttons are on the side that faces your body when using the toy. Why would the designer put them there? Did they not understand how the toy was used? It just raises so many questions!
