You didn’t think I’d let another year go by without my annual countdown, did you? Okay, okay… I know it’s February, but I promise I have a very good excuse for my recent disappearance and subsequent lack of end-of-year posting. At the time of publishing this list, there are only nine weeks to go till my wedding day, and I am low-key freaking out. Who would have thought it would be so much work… heheh. Well, apparently everyone but me, because I decided to try and plan the whole thing in just six months. This has been widely regarded ever since as a very bad idea, but at least now you understand why this post is going out so late. Although since I did originally write my Top 10 Sex Toys of 2024 in December, you’ll have to excuse any references to “this year” and “last year”. Just pretend it’s still 2024 when reading and we won’t have any problems.
Another big element of my life in 2024 was the amount of freelance work I’ve taken on. It’s always something I’ve done, whether publically or in the background, but this is the first year I’ve been able to transition away from the blog being my full focus. It has meant less reviews and posts, which does make me sad, but I remain firmly planted in the industry that I know and love so much. Joining the team at The Sex Shed in April as their Community & Product Expert, you can find me doing things like answering your questions at r/SexToys, talking about exciting new releases via their newsletter, and stocking their virtual shelves. Plus, I’ve now been working as a graphic designer for fantasy brand Uncover Creations for over a year, and it’s been my joy to help their amazing toys stand-out from the rest (and get a first look at what’s coming out next!). Of course, there have been other highlights too, such as the release of the Little GOO in March, a suction stimulator I helped design alongside Velvet Brands, my continuing work running the Alliance of Independent Sex Toy Testers, and much more. In my personal life, 2024 has been filled with its fair share of ups and downs, but 2025 is already shaping up to be a huge year for me and the blog, which also just so happens to be celebrating its 10th anniversary! Where does the time go?!
Despite posting a little less, 2024 has still been a huge year for Princess Previews, and I have loved sharing it with all of you. And, before I get into the countdown, I firstly have to say a big thank you to all of the brands who worked or collaborated with me over the last twelve months. They were Uncover Creations, Odyssey Toys, AROSUM, Limp Donkey, Blue Rabbit, Pink Punch, Long Distance Fun, SEXTOWELS.COM, The Sex Shed, Babeland, Good Vibes, Little Leaf Agency, OSUGA, Hot Octopuss and Peepshow Toys. Plus, an even bigger thank you goes out to all of my blog sponsors of 2024, whose support allows me to do what I do. This was Honey Play Box, Velvet Brands, Klitton, Betterlovedoll, Eden Fantasys, Funzze, SVAKOM, PlayfulSexToy and Fantasy Wives.
Lastly, my BIGGEST thank you, as always, goes out to all of my subscribers, followers, and visitors! There’d be no Princess Previews if it wasn’t for you, and I look forward to celebrating 10 years with you in 2025!
Top 10 Sex Toys of 2024
Number 10 – Funzze 9″ Fantasy Dildo
Last year Funzze dominated this list, with three spots going to their cheap but high-quality sex toys, and in 2024 the trend continues. First up is their 9″ Fantasy Dildo, a toy I’ve had my eye on ever since I started reviewing for the white-label brand. It was well worth the wait, with its intimidating appearance hiding what is actually a very approachable sex toy. A maximum diameter of just 1.55″ and a squishy dual-density silicone, this dildo is easy to insert without sacrificing that “filling” feeling, whilst subtle textural details provide an excellent entry-point for those interested in trying fantasy dildos. Not to mention that price!
You can get the 9″ Fantasy Dildo directly from Funzze for just $60 AUD / $37.99 USD!
Number 9 – Odyssey Toys Kraken Grinder
I’ve been enjoying the rise of grinders in recent years, but 2023’s review of the Uncover Creations Tentacle Grinder II, which came in at Number 3 on this list, felt like a revolution. Adding a slight penetrable element to a traditionally external toy really amped up my enjoyment, and this year the idea was taken all the way. The Odyssey Toys Kraken Grinder was one such product, and even though I reviewed it all the way back in January, I remain in awe of its detailed design. Using a shipwreck’s mast for insertion is then a genius idea, I just wish I had it in their softer silicone, which is really the only thing holding it back from placing higher on this list.
You can get the Kraken Grinder directly from Odyssey Toys starting at just $133 AUD / $84 USD!
Number 8 – Funzze Pink “O”
Last year the Funzze Sucking Massager came in at Number 8 on this list, so when I tried their latest budget suction toy, the Pink “O”, it had some big shoes to fill. On paper, the Sucking Massager is definitely the better of the two, being cheaper and more advanced. But whilst the Pink “O” had limited controls and just two speeds, it made the most of them in a way that was lacking in the Sucking Massager, and it quickly became my favourite of the two. Still, since it’s not a perfect toy, I felt the same placement as 2023 was appropriate, especially with fellow budget clit sucker, the Boutique Voila Little GOO, also under consideration this year.
You can get the Pink “O” directly from Funzze for just $58 AUD / $35.99 USD!
Number 7 – Hot Octopuss PULSE QUEEN
It took seven years for Hot Octopuss to re-release their first ever clitoral toy, the Queen Bee, so to say I had high hopes for the PULSE QUEEN is an understatement. Unfortunately it wasn’t quite enough to place higher on this list, with its biggest issue yet again being its noise level, but it was still a vast improvement from the original and a toy I thoroughly enjoyed. A new style of massager that focuses on deeply penetrating rumbly vibrations, Hot Octopuss’ signature PulsePlate allows for a greater level of versatility than other wands, and having a small body also makes this the ideal massager for those who don’t want to sacrifice power when travelling.
You can get the PULSE QUEEN directly from Hot Octopuss for just $149.95 AUD / $99.95 USD!
Number 6 – SVAKOM Cici 2
There has been a gap in the market for high-quality slim vibes, and it was so great to see SVAKOM not only doing something about it this year, but going all in. Just as high-tech as any premium vibrator, if not more so, the Cici 2 boasts app-control, heating, a memory function that’s actually worthwhile, LED battery display, travel lock and more. Plus, the SVAKOM app isn’t half bad, being amongst the best I’ve tried since I launched my app round-up. The only downside is the vibrations, which are on the weaker side, but considering everything else and the fact that this toy retails for a lot less than you’d expect, it is certainly worthy of this spot.
You can get the SVAKOM Cici 2 from Passionfruit for just $125 AUD / $78 USD!
Number 5 – Njoy Disco
It’s been 19 years (probably closer to 20 now actually) since Njoy released their legendary Pure Wand, so when they announced the Disco I was sure it would take out the Number 1 spot this year. And whilst I absolutely adored this toy, it just didn’t blow my socks off as much as I thought it would. It could be due to the learning curve that can occur with these kinds of unique products, but I just found that the slower style of stimulation this toy suited best was far from how I typically masturbate. That being said, it is still one of the best sex toys I tried this year at Number 5, and what an honour it is to own #403 of the first edition!
You can get the Njoy Disco from Peepshow Toys for just $287 AUD / $180 USD!
Number 4 – Uncover Creations Tentacle Grinder IV
With Odyssey Toys’ tentacle grinders taking up much of my attention at the start of the year, Uncover Creations swifty returned to reassert their throne. The fourth generation of the toy that came in at Number 3 last year, the Tentacle Grinder IV is bigger and better, with a protruding single tentacle that filled more than just my fantasies. Small details like the larger suckers, bullet hole, and soft density then all contribute to make it the best grinder I have tried so far, and the only reason it isn’t higher is because of the inconsistently sized straps I received. I should also point out that whilst I work for Uncover Creations, I had no hand in the design of this toy.
Number 3 – Dame Com
I had heard a lot of good things going into my review of the Dame Com, but as a bit of a wand massager snob, it can take a lot to impress me. So queue my surprise when I was met not only with deep rumbly vibrations, but with one of the most comprehensive and advanced massagers yet. Reminding us to never judge a book by its cover, the Com’s simple appearance hides its advanced controls, including a travel lock and low battery alert, whilst its full-body silicone allows it to be 100% waterproof and ergonomically designed. Put simply, I love this toy, and it would be even higher if it wasn’t for its noise level, which hopefully is a one-off malfunction.
You can get the Dame Com from Betty’s Toy Box for just $199 AUD / $125 USD!
Number 2 – BMS Swan Maximum Bullet
The Swan Maximum Bullet is my first product from Canadian-brand BMS, and apparently I’ve made a huge mistake sleeping on them this long. The strongest bullet vibrator I’ve ever tried, and by a long shot too, I was blown away by how literally perfect this sex toy is. High-quality packaging and accessories, including the fantastic addition which is the Comfy Cuff, as well as easy-to-use controls and a beautiful blue colourway, I immediately fell in love with this little vibrator and find it hard to believe it’s going for such a low price. Get one immediately!
You can get the BMS Swan Maximum Bullet from Peepshow Toys for just $80 AUD / $49.99 USD!
Number 1 – Boutique Voila Little GOO
To no one’s surprise, my Number 1 toy of 2024 had to be the Boutique Voila Little GOO. Yes, I may be biased since I helped design it and my face is on the (new) packaging, but I truly believe this is one of the best sex toys that released this year, and certainly the best that I tried. Fantastic suction alongside a fun design, which is not only discreet but also helps with hygiene and travel, it is also low volume, has a wide range of intensities and offers a deep nozzle for clitoral protection. But despite all this and plenty of glowing reviews from other bloggers, it never really took off like I thought it would, so here’s hoping 2025 is Little GOO’s year!
You can get the Boutique Voila Little GOO from Velvet Thruster for just $73 AUD / $46 USD!
Thanks for reading! Plus, make sure to use code GRACE at Peepshow Toys and Betty’s Toy Box for 10% OF and at Odyssey Toys for £10 OFF, as well as code GRACE25 at Velvet Thruster for 25% OFF!
