Forecasting and predicting trends is a big part of being a sex toy reviewer. I’m always looking out for what is, or what I believe is going to be, the most popular thing, so that my posts stay relevant and can be helpful to as many people as possible. There are always going to be the classic toys, such as rabbits and bullet vibrators, that stay strong all year round. But then there are also new innovations, such as the game-changing suction technology pioneered by Satisfyer and Womanizer over the last few years, or the more recent tongue imitators (for lack of a better term) that brands such as Zumio, ZALO and Svakom are experimenting with. Finally, there are the types of toys that are always kinda around, but that have major resurgences every now and then, and that is the type of trend I’ll be touching on today. As of late I have noticed the revival of panty vibes, which are a type of clitoral vibrator designed to sit in your underwear (either by being attached somehow or by being partially inserted inside you) and then be controlled via remote, primarily to add a touch of naughtiness to date nights. So, over the next month I’ll be taking a look at three different styles of the infamous panty vibe, starting today with the Bestvibe Remote Wearable Vibrator, and later continuing with the We-Vibe Moxie and Lovehoney Desire Knicker Vibrator.
The Brand
As this is my first time working with Bestvibe I’ll give a quick introduction to who this company is and what they offer. Operating out of China, Bestvibe set up shop in order to help spread sex positivity, believing that all people deserve to enjoy pleasure. As such, they sell a huge range of sex toys, from dildos and vibrators, to masturbators and sex dolls, and all at reasonable prices. While the majority of their stock is body-safe, a few items are not, so please be cautious of this when browsing their range. They then offer worldwide shipping with orders over $50 USD receiving it for free, and give peace of mind with their 90-day return policy.
Product Description
The Bestvibe Remote Wearable Vibrator, or the “10m Remote 10 Vibration Modes G-Spot Wearable Vibrator” as the Bestvibe website calls it, is only my second panty vibe, with my first being the OVO R1 which I reviewed all the way back in 2016. Instead of following the more traditional route of simply attaching to your underwear, this vibe takes things up a notch by featuring an internal arm designed to go inside of your vagina during use, which is then held in place by your underwear. The toy then uses two motors, one in the internal arm and one in the area that rests over your clitoris, in order to stimulate both your G-Spot and clitoris during use, and it also promotes stimulation of the anus with its tail end that picks up some of the residual vibrations. The toy only has one button on it from which you can control it, but it also comes with a wireless remote which is the intended way to control the vibrations. Stylish lines are then featured on the insertable end of the toy, which give the product a sleek and modern appearance, while a small lump in the silicone tail is presumably to help the toy stay in place. A fairly obvious seam, which is raised in some areas allowing it to be felt, along with a tear in the silicone near the charging port, are the only real downsides to the product’s appearance. While it sadly only comes in purple, the silky soft body-safe silicone used makes up for this, as does the fact that both the toy and its remote are USB rechargeable. Additionally, the toy is waterproof, and while it is technically anal safe, it is not intended for use in this way.
Packaging
My order with Bestvibe for the Remote Wearable Vibrator was made on the 1st of August and I received it on the 24th. While there was no mention of the sender, the product was unfortunately listed as “Massager” on the box, so if privacy is important to you this may be an issue. The packaging for the actual toy was then extremely discreet and simplistic, and by this I mean it literally had nothing on it. Instead, it was just a black cardboard box, with a printed lace pattern running around it, and an outer sleeve that can be removed to reveal the toy inside resting in foam. While I’ve received packaging before that has had limited information on it, usually they still mention the brand or toy name, so I was somewhat surprised by this. What’s more, I find that the cardboard sleeve is slightly too small for the box it is supposed to cover, so removing it is very difficult. Other than the toy itself and its remote, the package’s only additions are a charging cable and an extremely small and brief instruction manual (perhaps the smallest I’ve ever seen).
Charging
Charging both the Bestvibe Remote Wearable Vibrator and its remote is very easy as they are both USB rechargeable, however the downside is that there is only one charging cable for the both of them. To start, just plug one end of the charging cord into a USB port, and the other end into either the toy or the remote. The instructions specify that a solid red light will come on when they are in the process of being charged, and that this will turn off when full, however on both my toy and remote I instead have a purple flashing light to indicate charging, and then this changes to a solid light when complete. Bestvibe recommend an initial charge of 8 hours for the toy prior to first use, and then further charging should only take two hours, giving you one hour of play time. No information is given about the charging times of the remote. Also worth noting is the condition of the charging port on the toy, as rather than a simple hole in the silicone, mine came with essentially a large tear, which not only looks bad but I also fear compromises the product’s waterproof abilities (however I have been submerging it for cleaning and have not had any issues).
Controls
Since there is only one button each on both the Bestvibe Remote Wearable Vibrator and its remote, working out how to control it is pretty straightforward despite the lack of information online and in its instructions. To turn the toy on, first press the button on it down for three seconds (you can also do this to turn the toy off), and this will put it in stand-by mode. Frustratingly, the only indication of this mode is a light that starts flashing where the button is, and as it is quite dim you will likely need to block out all other light to see it, making it very difficult to work out if the toy is ready for use or not (particularly as it’s hard to tell if you’ve even pressed the button successfully). Once you know the toy is on, you can press its button again to cycle through the 10 modes, four of which are steady speeds and six of which are patterns, and all of which incorporate both motors. The weird part about this however, is that the modes run in this order: 2 steady, followed by 6 patterns, and then 2 steady again, before looping. Plus, the lower steady speeds are the ones at the back of the order, while the first two are the higher steady speeds, which means in order to start off using the toy on a low speed you have to first click through all the other modes, which is impossible to do if you’re already wearing the toy before starting the vibrations as intended. I’ve never seen anything like this on a toy before and it honestly makes no logical sense. Additionally, while I often remark on my distaste for stand-by modes, I do feel that its use is relevant on this product as it allows you to turn the toy on prior to insertion, which as it turns out is essential. This is due to the fact that the toy’s button is very hard to press, and so turning it on whilst it’s already inside of you is practically impossible, as there is no way to get enough force to actually press the button down.
The Remote
Considering the above, I was happy that this product comes with a remote, even for times when I want to be in control of the product myself. Plus, using it is easy, as all you need to do is first put the toy into stand-by mode, and then you can immediately start pressing remote’s button to flick through the vibrations. This then takes you through the same modes I mentioned above, and when finished you can hold the button down on the remote to put the toy back in stand-by mode (so remember to turn it off properly once you remove it!). This remote has a way better button than on the toy, as it’s easy to click and has a satisfying noise and feeling when you do so, so even if the person in control isn’t able to detect the changes in vibrations, they at least have confirmation that the button has indeed been clicked.
First Impressions
As this is my first vibrator from Bestvibe I wasn’t sure what to expect the first time I turned it on, and I was disappointed to find that the vibrations are incredibly buzzy. Another issue I immediately noticed was that the toy is a lot louder than I thought it would be considering it is designed to be worn discreetly in public. This is the sort of toy I wouldn’t advise using in your bedroom if you’re worried about housemates hearing it, and so it goes without saying that you won’t be able to wear this product out and about without the people around you noticing, which is a huge problem.
My Experience
My first few tests of this toy just saw me using it alone in bed, to get use to its shape and work out how much it could actually stimulate me. Inserting was easy due to the small size of the internal arm, although I still chose to use some lube to help. My G-Spot is further back in my body than most, and so I need a large curve and generally a hard material to achieve good stimulation in the area, so I was not at all surprised that this toy does not reach anywhere near my G-Spot or that it’s unable to stimulate it. Instead, I was more interested in whether this toy would be able to reach my clitoris, as this is my favourite form of stimulation and my most common way to achieve orgasm. While it looked at first as if it might be too short, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the toy actually does sit quite nicely over my clitoris. Although despite this good fit, I do find that the vibrations are far too buzzy to be able to penetrate very deeply or give me anything more than a light amount of pleasure, and so despite much trying I have not been able to reach orgasm with this toy. However, it is the tail that is designed to stimulate my anus that I have had the most trouble with when using the toy in this way. First off, I don’t know who has their anus that close to their vagina, or who has a body that is curved in this way, but I know I certainly do not. So all this little piece of silicone does is dig into my skin painfully, and it is incredibly frustrating and annoying. I think even if there was a chance I could orgasm using this toy, I am far too busy trying to constantly readjust this part of it to keep it from poking into me. I truly do not know why this part of the toy exists other than to torment me.
After I’d given up testing the Bestvibe Remote Wearable Vibrator just to masturbate with, I decided to try it out as intended, by wearing it around the house (as it was sadly too loud to go out with) whilst my partner was in charge of the remote. Wearing it whilst standing is slightly uncomfortable and I certainly would not be able to forget that it’s there, but it is not as frustrating as I thought it would be. Putting my underwear on tightly works to hold it in, as does walking slowly with my legs closed as tightly as possible, otherwise it does begin to fall out on its own. Sitting with it is then quite uncomfortable, so this isn’t the type of toy you’d want to wear to dinner or a movie where sitting for long periods is required. Surprisingly, however, the tail end of the toy does not interfere or poke into me while using it in this way, which I was very happy about. Having my partner then control the remote was a lot of fun, as it was a huge turn on knowing he had control and could change the vibrations at any time. As with my previous tests the vibrations were still too weak to have any real impact on me, but I enjoyed them way more like this due to the anticipation and dominance of my partner controlling them. At the end of the test we were both so turned on that we ended up having to go have sex, so in terms of foreplay it was definitely a winner! Additionally, we had no issues using the remote control, and he was able to control the vibrations no matter where I was in our apartment.
Cleaning & Care
Cleaning the Bestvibe Remote Wearable Vibrator is easy since it is made from silicone and is waterproof. Just throw it in some soapy water when you’re done, give it a wash, rinse, and then dry. You can then store it in a zip-lock bag to keep it clean, as the silicone attracts dust. Make sure to not use silicone-based lubricant with this product, as it may react badly to the silicone it is made of, but if you do then first perform a spot test.
Final Thoughts
Overall, this review was not a complete failure, however there were a lot of aspects of the Bestvibe Remote Wearable Vibrator that were either poorly executed or just simply confusing. Issues such as the product arriving with a tear in the silicone, the tiny and incorrect instruction manual, awful charging ratios, and the strange order of the vibration modes, were just some of the things I noted before even trying the toy, and it only got worse from there. Weak, buzzy vibrations meant I was barely able to be stimulated with the toy, let alone orgasm, and the noise levels meant wearing it outside of the house discreetly was impossible. Plus, while I anticipated the G-Spot arm not working for me, the supposed anal stimulator was little more than an annoying piece of silicone, which makes me unsure if the person who designed this had any idea about anatomy. But, despite all this, I genuinely did enjoy using it with my partner, although I feel this is more to do with enjoying the feeling of submission that comes with panty vibrators, rather than actually enjoying anything about this toy. I suppose time will tell with my next two reviews on the subject, which will be both be going live in October!
Sadly, the Bestvibe Remote Wearable Vibrator has now been discontinued.

Okay
This toy was riddled with issues, but most importantly the vibrations were too weak for me to orgasm from.
This post was sponsored by Bestvibe, but as always, all opinions are my own.
I’m shocked that the packaging said “massager”! That’s not cool. I recently purchased a panty vibe from another company with a similar design and had many of the same issues. Except the tear. I’d imagine they would replace it for showing up damaged like that. Looking forward to more of your reviews and in hopes of finding the ultimate panty vibe.
Most packages I receive sadly say something along the lines of “Massager”. It’s so frustrating and I don’t know what the postman must think of me! It makes a big difference when I get truly discreet packages though. This is a fairly generic design so I’m not surprised to hear you’ve had something similar, and I’d like to think if I was a customer it would have been replaced due to the tear. Thanks for your support and I hope I can find one that I can truly give my tick of approval!
Hi. I know this is probably a site for you girls only, but I was trying to find out if Bestvibe was the same company as B-vibe and your review came up on Google, so I’m guessing they aren’t the same company, since you say they shipped the toy from China. I kind of wondered where they were based, as there was no information on their site about that and I’m always suspicious of shopping websites that don’t reveal that. Have you done any reviews on thrusting prostate massagers from Bestvibe. I saw on their site that they have loads and I did fancy getting one or two. Having read your review here of the girls toy and you say not all their toys are skin safe for anal use and your toy was damaged with that tear. I’m now a bit worried about getting one from them.
Hi! Bestvibe and B-vibe are two very different companies despite the name, with B-vibe being a US manufacturer and Bestvibe being a Chinese retailer / dropshipper. The reason it probably doesn’t specify where they are from on their website, however, is because they ship from warehouses all around the world. But their main office is in China, yes.
I haven’t reviewed any prostate massagers, but they do have a great range and at low prices. They are also all body-safe, it’s usually just dildos that have dodgy materials.
Ah ok thank you That’s good to know and thanks for replying. I have since read Trustpilot reviews for Bestvibe and seen a number of people say that they ordered things but never received them and not got their money back. So I will think about whether to buy them from there or the same items on Amazon. Of course Amazon would have some customer protection in place.
