Wow, another year is over already! The end of 2018 marks my fourth year running this blog, and what a fantastic 12 months it has been! Putting together my Top 10 Sex Toys post is always one of my favourite things to do every December, and it’s easily my favourite blog post of the year. Working on it gives me the opportunity to look back and reflect on all the fantastic products I’ve reviewed throughout the year, and also gives me the chance to thank all my wonderful readers, as well as all the companies who have worked with me.
Welcome to the second edition of Ask A Sex Toy Reviewer! I put this series together last year because I wanted to hear from you, my readers, and find out what queries or questions you had about anything from sex toys, sexual health, how to run a blog, to even myself! I’ve been collecting questions ever since then, and recently put out a call for more during my Third Blogiversary Giveaway! I was totally overwhelmed by the amount of great questions I received during this, but due to illness I was unfortunately not able to get round to these until now. Here’s a few of my favourites, and hopefully I’ll be getting Issue 3 out soon so I can address even more!
I love travelling. Whether I am with my partner for a romantic getaway, or by myself to work on a project, nothing beats getting out of my regular routine and switching up my environment. Sex toys are also a big part of my life these days, and no matter where I’m headed I can never resist taking a few of my favourites along for the trip with me. But it wasn’t always this way, and when I first started this blog the mere thought of taking a vibrator on a plane would cause my anxiety to flare up. “What if it starts going off in my bag?? What if somebody sees it??” I still get occasionally nervous when travelling with toys, but through my experience I have found methods to help me overcome this, and to ensure my toys are always travel ready. Today I thought I would share my tips and tricks with you, in the hope that they can help you as much as they have helped me!

I was an early bloomer, so masturbation became a big part of my life pretty early on. Plus, these options are actually better than just buying a cheap non-body safe toy, so if you were thinking of just caving and purchasing a jelly dildo, perhaps try these first.

I initially put out the call for questions during my Valentine’s Day Giveaway earlier this year, and was so overwhelmed by the great responses! Due to the questions I got asked I decided to put together my recent Sex Toy Materials Guide, which answers many of the queries you folks had, and soon I’ll also be publishing a similar guide on lube. But there are still plenty of questions left over that won’t be covered in those guides, so I’ll be answering them here in this new series. This’ll run whenever I have enough questions for a post, but I’ll be limiting it to once a month. So without further ado, here they are!
