Last year the most exciting new brand I tried had to be Pink Punch. Launching onto the scene with their adorable aesthetic, which evoked early 2000s nostalgia with their Polly Pocket-style cases and cyberpunk app, their flagship product the Sunset Mushroom, and later the Peachu, not only looked amazing but offered a range of features that I just couldn’t resist. Both had charging stations, with the Sunset Mushroom’s resembling an AirPods case both in design and the way it functioned, whilst other elements such as their exquisite packaging, app-control and squishy translucent silicone all made for a level of quality that I don’t see enough of in this industry. The only downside was that neither the Sunset Mushroom nor Peachu were actually very good sex toys, and even though their compatible app is one of the better ones, it still wasn’t enough for me to recommend them. I could clearly see the potential, however, and so I’ve kept tabs on the brand ever since, eager to get my hands on whatever they released next in the hopes that it would finally be the one. Well, when I saw the Dream Bunny I was over the moon, and even more so when they asked if I wanted to review it!
Review Round-Up: Sex Toy Apps
This year I’ve already reviewed more app compatible sex toys than ever before, and we still have three months to go! Although as technology continues to become a vital part of our everyday lives, I suppose this is only to be expected. Until now I have included detailed guides on all apps I come across within my usual product reviews. But that isn’t working anymore. Firstly, the in-depth way I write my reviews doesn’t translate all that well to apps. Plus, since apps get updates that completely erase previous versions, there’s no point in having 500 words in a review from two years ago on an app that’s since been overhauled, even if the toy itself is still popular. So, from now on you can find all my thoughts on the world’s best adult apps right here at my sex toy app review round-up!
Review: Pink Punch Sunset Mushroom
One of the most memorable products I’ve reviewed this year so far has to be the Pink Punch Peachu. Whilst the suction toy sadly wasn’t able to satisfy me as well as I hoped, I was blown away by every other aspect of it. Despite being a relatively new brand with only one other product under their belt, Pink Punch had clearly applied a high level of thought and consideration into their flagship stimulator, with the design of the toy itself and everything else relating to it being exceptional. The Peachu, based appropriately on a peach, is a mini work of art, as is its discreet packaging, unique storage case (which doubled as a charging dock), and cyberpunk-style phone app for long-distance control. So, when that review was done, the only thing on my mind was getting my hands on Pink Punch’s other release, the Sunset Mushroom.
Review: Pink Punch Peachu
My blog has always been closely linked to suction toys. The obvious reason is because they are my favourite type of sex toy, and I love to review them and encourage others to experience their life changing orgasms. But the other, lesser known, reason is that I started my blog the same year they were first released, and I feel like we’ve grown up together in a way. Far from their origins as a tacky animal-print design with an awful name (alright, the name still exists), there are now hundreds of air pressure wave toys out there, and almost ten years later brands are still finding ways to innovate upon them. That takes us to today’s review, which features the new Pink Punch Peachu’s take on suction with a twist: an alternative D-shaped nozzle!
