We’re spoilt for choice these days when it comes to dildos. With new independent makers popping up around the globe every month, it often seems like there is now infinite variations of this classic sex toy. So whether you’re looking for a particular set of colours or a unique design, there’s a good chance you’ll find something out there to fulfil your fantasy (and if not, that’s what customs are for!). To celebrate that, today I wanted to take a look back at one of the OG micro-makers that started it all, and the first one that I ever purchased from all the way back in 2016. With their small range of tried-and-true products, UK brand Godemiche are well known for producing some of the most beautiful toys in the industry, with their masterful use of colour. So when they recently reached out to see if I was interested in reviewing a custom copy of their brand new dildo, Morpheus, how could I resist?
Product Description
It’s been a long time since my review of the Godemiche Ambit, but I’ve been closely following this husband-and-wife run business ever since, with their creative and vibrant pours being a regular highlight of my social feed. So I was over the moon to not only get to try their latest design, but to choose my own colours too! As with the rest of their range, the Morpheus (which brings to mind Netflix’s recent adaption of The Sandman, although I don’t know if this is intentional) is quite a simple shape, with a long curved shaft and pointed head, almost like an extended version of the Ambit. It comes in four different sizes, Thin Small, Thick Small, Thin Medium and Thick Medium, and after careful consideration I chose Thin Medium, which has a length of 19.1cm / 7.5″ and a maximum diameter of 4.2cm / 1.6″, alongside a flexible yet fairly firm silicone, with only the smallest amount of give. As for the colours, I chose to customise a Two Tone Morpheus (although they also offer single tone and glitter customs, as well as pre-made drops), and used this Instagram post of theirs for my inspiration, which reminded me of one of my favourite paintings, The Great Wave off Kanagawa by Hokusai. Using their website ordering form, I then chose Blue Pearl and White as my colours, and also included a link to the reference image in the order notes. I think it turned out beautifully from one angle, although sadly the blue gets a bit lost for the majority of the toy, and a note included with my order said that the effect in the reference works better with standard colours, rather than pearls, which is a shame when I only chose those colours in an attempt to match the photo. In addition, the Morpheus has a fairly thick base that features a debossed “G” for Godemiche at the front, and this allows it to be both anal-safe and harness compatible. Also worth noting is that there are a few small rough patches and lumps across my toy, the most noticeable being some raised lines on the head, although all of these are minor enough that they do not affect use and seem reasonable for a hand-made product.
Packaging
My order for the Morpheus was placed with Godemiche on the 20th of July. It was then shipped on the 4th of August (although strangely I didn’t get an email confirmation about this till the 11th) and finally arrived to me on the 15th, which I thought was a reasonable timeframe considering it was a custom order coming from the other side of the globe. The box was then fully discreet, with no mention of the sender or what was inside, which was good to see. Opening this up, I found a cute handwritten note, some promo materials, British candy, and a pack of adorable miniature versions of their toys, which included a keyring Adam! As for the Morpheus itself, this was then presented in a branded zip-lock bag, which is the sort of no-fuss packaging I am used to from indie makers. Overall, I was very happy with all of this, and these sorts of personal touches are why I love shopping with small businesses. Plus, whilst the zip-lock bag might not be the most stylish, I love how it doesn’t create any unnecessary waste, since you can just keep it to store your toy in.
My Experience
Due to how firm the Godemiche Morpheus is, inserting it without any prior warming up can take some time, but is ultimately possible due to how tapered its unusually pointed head is. Although to make things even quicker, you can use a smaller toy, such as the Funkit NoFrillDo R, first. Once in, the Morpheus then quickly finds my G-Spot, and despite its long shaft, that is exactly where it stays. You see, there’s something about the combination of the firm silicone and unusual shape that provides exceptional G-Spot stimulation, so much so that I can say without a doubt that this is the best fully silicone dildo I’ve ever used for G-Spot play. In fact, it conjures to mind G-Spot legends like the metal Njoy Pure Wand and glass Jopen Comet Key Wand far more than any other silicone dildo, for which it truly has no equal. The only real downside is that the base makes getting this stimulation a little more difficult than with those toys, however considering this is necessary for anal and harness play, it is a worthy sacrifice. Plus, by making the base a bit thicker than usual, this is somewhat improved, and I also find the logo on it perfect for helping me recentre the toy. Pairing the Morpheus with a good clitoral vibrator, such as the We-Vibe Touch X or Doxy Bullet, then pretty much guarantees some outstanding orgasms, for which I just can’t seem to get enough of.
Cleaning & Care
Being fully silicone and waterproof, cleaning the Godemiche Morpheus is easy. Simply place it in some warm soapy water after use, and then rinse it and leave to air dry. The only downside is that you will need to put extra care into cleaning the “G” logo on the base, which I’d recommend doing with a spare soapy toothbrush. Still, this isn’t nearly as annoying as its location on my Godemiche Ambit, which was actually on the insertable portion of the toy, making this a vast improvement. After this you can then return it to its zip-lock bag for storage, as the silicone it is made of does attract lint. Additionally, for a more complete clean, or when switching the toy between orifices or partners, you can also sterilise it by soaking it in a 10% bleach solution or boiling it. Finally, do not use silicone based lubricant with this product, as it may damage the silicone it is made of.
Final Thoughts
Dildos are one of my favourite sex toys to review, because I love the wide array of shapes and colours that they come in. But when it comes to actually using them and writing about it, well, it can be a tad boring. After all, there’s no features or vibrations to discuss, no charging or controls to consider, but rather just a solid piece of material that can stimulate me in a limited number of ways. Because of this, it can take a lot for a dildo to surprise me, yet that is exactly what the Godemiche Morpheus did. It was obvious as soon as I held it in my hands for the first time that this was a design unlike any other I’ve tried, but while the UK maker’s website does advertise its G-Spot abilities, I typically ignore this sort of thing because silicone toys very rarely work this way for me. So it seems I’ve finally met my match, because the Morpheus doesn’t just work, but is by far the best silicone G-Spot dildo I’ve ever tried. Most of all, however, I believe it is the firm silicone I have to thank, which I think Godemiche were smart to not let people customise, as even though it’s probably a higher shore than most people would like (myself included), it was absolutely necessary for my experience. Overall, from receiving my order and seeing its custom colours for the first time to actually using it, I have had a wonderful experience with the Godemiche Morpheus, and cannot recommend it more to those who want to enjoy Pure Wand-style G-Spot stimulation without the high cost, and all while supporting a small business.
You can get the Morpheus directly from Godemiche starting at just $68 AUD / $46 USD!

Great
Easily the best G-Spot stimulation I've ever had from a fully silicone dildo, which is thanks to its firm density and unusual shape.
I received this product in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. Affiliate links have been used in this post.
I appreciate the range of girths and lengths!
Based on your experience, do you think that the small/thick version would produce similar g spot intensity? Thank you!
Similar, but I don’t think as intense. It really depends on the person though as everyone will have a slightly different experience based on their bodies, so if you think the small & thick version would be better for you then I say go for it.
I cannot take seven inches, and so I would like to buy the thin/small. Would it match in g spot intensity?
hey, what dildo would you recommend to use with a strap on for a lesbian couple ? I’m struggling to find one with a silicon not too ferm and possibly a curvy shape like Morpheus … because most of them are so stiff that it makes many positions hurt (like missionary).
Thank you so much for your advices, it would be very veryyyy appreciated ❤️
One of my favourite dildo makers, Tantus, has a whole collection of their popular toy designs in soft silicone. I’d recommend starting there and checking out a few of the relevant options, such as the Curve and Adam.
Other than this, it can be difficult to judge the density of larger dildo manufacturers, so the best way to get soft toys is to go with smaller independent makers. Alternatively, a dual-density silicone toy might also be a good option. It has a firm inner core to keep the toy’s shape and maximise G-Spot stimulation, but a soft outer layer to help avoid issues like you’re having.
Thank you so so much Grace, I followed your advice and got the Tantus Uncut. It is just wonderful ! The texture and softness are perfect, my girlfriend looooves it as well.
Many many thanks! ❤️
