Review: Lovehoney Classic Metallic Wand

If you follow me on social media then you’ll know that I am currently in the midst of a festive collaboration with Lovehoney! Titled the 12 Days of Christmas, it’s something we’ve been working on quietly for the last few months, and I’ve been so excited to finally be able to share it with all of you! Basically we put our sex toy expertise together to come up with a list of twelve items from their store that we thought would make the ultimate gifts this holiday season, and now it’s December I’ve been slowly revealing a new one each day over at my Twitter and Instagram in the lead-up to Christmas. So far we’ve looked at the We-Vibe X Lovehoney Remote Control Couples Vibrator for Day 1, the Lovehoney Desire App Controlled Love Egg for Day 2, and the Lovehoney Positions of the Week book for Day 3. But for Day 4 I wanted to do something a little different, and so I’ve been working on a review of today’s item, the Lovehoney Classic Metallic Wand, in secret. Surprise!

Review: Monster Pub Master Gokilla 2 Premium

This year people have been achieving all sorts of things during lockdown. From learning a language to starting businesses and new creative outlets, it’s been wonderful to see the different ways in which each of us has approached these strange times. So, what’s my personal achievement? Well, other than trying to keep some semblance of a blog while my home life got turned upside down, I decided to set out to watch all 36 films in the Godzilla franchise, because, well… why not? At the time of writing I am currently 24 films in and absolutely obsessed with all things kaiju, and so when Monster Pub, a company who sell a range of toys based on the beloved character, reached out to me recently, I could hardly believe it! After all, I definitely did not expect to have any reason to mention my Godzilla marathon here at my sex toy review blog! So, with that strange twist of fate in mind, let us jump into my review of the Monster Pub Master Gokilla 2 Premium!

Sales: Best Black Friday Sex Toy Deals 2020

What a YEAR it has been! Usually I am feeling a little bit sad to acknowledge another 12 months have passed when I’m writing this post, but 2020 can honestly just GTFO. More than ever I think we deserve to treat ourselves and each other during the upcoming sales season, after all, anyone who made it through these “unprecedented times” deserves a goddamn medal in my opinion. Plus, considering how universally tight money has been, I think it’s fair to say that for many of us these sales aren’t just a treat, but a necessity. As usual this post brings together the best sales from sex toy retailers and manufacturers around the web and compiles them for easy browsing, but this year I also want to encourage you to shop within your own country (it’ll help your local economy and decrease the risk of postal delays) and shop small if you can.

Review: Lovehoney Glow-in-the-Dark Dildo

As an Australian I don’t tend to make as big as a deal here about the current spooky season as some of my overseas friends, but growing up in Britain means that Halloween is still very much a holiday that holds a dear place in my heart. Still, it’s because of this, and my usual affinity for cute rather than horror toys, that it’s not often you’ll find me participating in any spooktober-style reviews. So when Lovehoney recently reached out to me about their new October releases, my eyes were immediately drawn to the adorable-looking Glow-in-the-Dark Dildo far more than any of their Halloween inspired products. Little did I know however, that when the lights are turned off this dildo become possibly the most spooky of them all! Thus, for the very first time, here I am with a extra special Halloween review!

My Favourite Sex Toys: 2020 Edition

Almost two years ago to this day I launched a new post series called What’s In My Toy Box?. Intended to be a “Where Are They Now?” of all the products I’ve ever reviewed, I wanted it to act as an easy guide to which toys I continue to use regularly, and thus what’s most deserving of your money. After all, just because a review was positive or an item made it onto my Top 10 Sex Toys Of The Year does not mean I’ll keep using it after the fact. As I mentioned back in 2018 however, there really isn’t much point in me producing a new one of these until my toy box has changed enough to warrant one, and I really didn’t feel like this was the case last year. But with this year’s lockdown I’ve had plenty of time to reevaluate and switch things around, and with a toy box now filled with more new toys than old ones, it seemed time to finally resurrect this series, albeit with a new name!

Review: Vixen Creations VixSkin Mustang

Long before I started reviewing sex toys, I was an avid reader of sex blogs. As a curious 18 year old who had just moved out of home, I didn’t have much to spend, so researching which products were best in order to get the most out of my money was of the utmost importance to me. It was during this time that I first noticed a number of products that seemed to repeatedly pop up in the work of my favourite bloggers, regardless of what they were supposed to be actually writing about. They were the must-haves of sex toys, and so when I started blogging the toys on that list, such as the Magic Wand Rechargeable, We-Vibe Tango, and Njoy Pure Wand, were some of the first I sought out. Five years in however, there has only been one toy that has managed to evade me all this time, despite numerous efforts to get my hands on it. Widely regarded as the best realistic dildo ever, the Vixen Creations VixSkin Mustang stands-out from the rest on my list as the only toy from an independent maker, and it is that fact that has made obtaining one here in Australia tricky. But when the amazing folks over at KissKiss heard of my struggles, they were kind enough to send one out all the way from Switzerland, so that my sex toy dreams may finally be fulfilled!
