If we’re talking about sex toys that have managed to break through into the mainstream in recent years, it’s inevitable that names like the Rose Vibe and Satisfyer Pro 2 are going to come up. But another common answer, that I haven’t yet reviewed, has to be the AirVibe. Like the Rose, this white-label productA generic, mass-produced product that is regularly rebranded and sold to different companies, allowing them to all claim it as their own. is known by many names, but it was forever put on the map when ethical porn website Bellesa and the internet’s favourite time-waster Buzzfeed teamed up to release it together in 2020, and have since given away hundreds of copies for free, including a promotion that featured Cardi B. From that point on, I’ve been eager to get my hands on this toy to see what all the fuss was about, and so you can imagine my excitement when I found out New Zealand brand Share Satisfaction had acquired the toy as their very own Sutra.
Product Description
The Share Satisfaction Sutra is a U-style sex toy, which is a compact form of dual-stimulator popularised by the We-Vibe couples vibes. Although there are three main points of difference between those toys and this, with the first being that the external arm uses suction, rather than vibrations, for stimulation. The second is that this toy is not intended for use by couples during PIV sex, however this is still a possibility for those who enjoy double-penetration. Last up, this toy doesn’t have a remote control, making its use a tad awkward (more on this later). Instead, the Sutra comes with a clamshell case made out of plastic and featuring the same colour as the toy (which is available in a choice of teal or purple), and this also doubles as a wireless charging stand. The internal arm of the toy is then fairly small, with a diameter of just 3cm / 1.2″, and whilst this has some light padding from the body-safe silicone that covers it, it is also strangely lumpy in areas. To make matters worse, a prominent seam wraps around the Sutra, so much so it can actually be felt, and in some areas this is even beginning to tear and rip. Above the suction head (which is not removable), you’ll then find a plate of silver reflective plastic, and in the middle of this are the three buttons to which you can control the Sutra. Dual charging plates are just below this, alongside stylised silicone ridges which create an interesting visual effect at the toy’s flexible middle. Finally, as with all good sex toys, the Sutra is fully waterproof and comes with a 12-month warranty.
Packaging
Since I received the Sutra directly from Share Satisfaction, who only sell through their stockists in Australia, I won’t go into the shipping details. The box was then visually very similar to what I received with the Share Satisfaction Coco, featuring the same branding and design, but otherwise totally different. This is most noticeable in the size, as even though the Sutra and Coco take up roughly the same amount of space, the Sutra’s box is twice as big and one of the largest sex toy boxes I have received, making it difficult for storage and quite wasteful from an environmental perspective. The main reason for this is because Share Satisfaction have chosen to display both the Sutra and its storage case separately inside the box, but even with this it still could have been made smaller. Outside of this, I will say that I much prefer the Sutra’s packaging over the Coco’s. In that review, I took issue with the cheap materials used, especially since these are meant to be luxury toys, but the Sutra uses the same layout with a firm high-quality card and plastic, as well as actual magnets, and it makes all the difference. Opening this up, you’ll then find the Sutra and its case resting safely in foam, alongside its charging cord and a small piece of card featuring instructions, safety and warranty information. Overall, with the exception of the size, I much preferred this to the Coco, with the Sutra feeling more like a premium sex toy.
Charging
Charging the Share Satisfaction Sutra is easy with its custom charging case. To start, simply connect one end of the charging cord into a USB port and the other into the hole on the clamshell case. You can then place the Sutra inside for it to charge wirelessly, and you can even close the case for complete discretion. The only downside is that even though there is an LED light on the case (which just lights up when plugged in, regardless of whether the toy is inserted), the actual LED light which lets you know the charging status (blinking when charging, solid when complete) is on the toy’s buttons and mostly covered when inserted in the case, making it hard to tell when the battery is full. Charging will then take 2.5 hours, giving you around 1.5 hours of play time.
Controls
The Share Satisfaction Sutra has three buttons, which are fairly self-explanatory. There is an on/off button, which uses the universal power symbol, alongside a zigzag line to represent the vibrations of the internal arm and a cone to represent the suction of the external arm. With this in mind, to turn the toy on simply hold down the power button, which will begin to flash to indicate it has entered stand-by mode. You can then click either of the other buttons to turn on the associated arm, with the suction featuring five speeds and the vibrations featuring ten modes, three of which are steady speeds and seven of which are patterns. Once on, there is frustratingly no way to stop either of these arms without turning the entire toy off, or alternatively if you get to the end of the cycle they will return to stand-by mode. Finally, when finished, you can simply hold down the power button again to turn the toy off. Overall this is all fine, but the presence of the power button and stand-by mode feel unnecessary, especially considering there is no remote, and so I would have preferred just two buttons which run independently of each other.
First Impressions
While I’ve tried both U-style couples toys and suction rabbits before, this is my first time testing a toy that combines the two into one, which is both exciting and nerve-racking. Exciting because I love suction and mixing it with G-Spot stimulation is always a joy, but nerve-racking because it can often feel overwhelming, so the idea of not being able to remove it easily leaves me feeling almost claustrophobic. Turning it on for the first time, I quickly found that if I put my finger over the nozzle prior to turning the suction on, it wouldn’t work (but otherwise it works totally fine). This is something I’ve never experienced before across the many suction toys I have tried, and something I was concerned would affect use, but thankfully I’ve found it to not make a huge impact. The suction is also quite loud, and alongside the internal arm’s noisy and buzzy vibrations, the two make for a toy that I wouldn’t feel comfortable using if I had reason to discreet, which is a shame since that was one of my favourite aspects of the Share Satisfaction Coco. As for the nozzle, this is a little thicker than on the Coco’s, and could be a bit softer considering how it gets pressed up against the clitoris quite firmly.
My Experience
Due to the slim shape and flexibility of the Sutra, inserting it is easy, as is positioning it over my clitoris. In fact, I almost wish it was a little less flexible, or at least that adjusting the shape required more force, as I’ve found myself unable to get it to stay pressed up against my G-Spot. The biggest problem I have with the Sutra, however, begins as soon as I go to turn it on, because as with all U-style vibrators, it is almost impossible to actually see the toy during use, which is why they always come with remotes. Additionally, unlike most other toys that feature a stand-by mode, there is no vibration response to tell you when it activates, so if you’re using the toy in a well lit room, there’s no way to tell when it’s actually turned on. This is only made worse by the fact that not only are the buttons difficult to feel by touch (they do indent into the silicone, which helps, but not enough to really differentiate them), but they are also fairly tricky to press during use, particularly as to do so means putting a lot of force down on your clitoris. Plus, once they are on, if you go to press the suction and instead accidentally press the vibrations, for instance, you’ll need to either turn the entire toy off or press the vibration button eleven times to get back to the mode you were on, which is not fun.
Once the toy and its two arms are on, things continue to go downhill. The internal vibrations, while somewhat stimulating, do not reach my G-Spot, and so are mostly an underwhelming support act to the suction, although you wouldn’t think this from the noise it makes. As for the suction, this starts off way too intense, with there not being nearly enough of a contrast between the lowest and highest levels. This, combined with the pressure the nozzle places on the clitoris and the inability to remove it easily, concerns me as it could cause injury, and even I, an experienced suction user, often leave my testing sessions feeling sore because of it. However, once you adjust to the suction, I can’t deny that the Sutra is very pleasurable, and I can see why this product is so well loved. Orgasms come fast and hard, almost enough to make up for the noise and control issues, and because stopping the toy is difficult (you could just pull it out, but this would be uncomfortable with the vibrations running, so I tend to try and turn it off if I can) I always end up having multiple rolling orgasms first. Plus, using this toy hands-free works like a dream, with the shape holding so well that you can roll around in pleasure without the suction nozzle losing contact.
Cleaning & Care
Cleaning the Share Satisfaction Sutra is easy since it is fully waterproof, although if you have tears or holes in the silicone like mine then you will need to put in some extra care. Start by soaking it briefly in some warm, soapy water, and then use a spare toothbrush to clean any areas where bacteria may hide. After this you can simply rinse it and leave to air dry, before returning it to its case for storage. Additionally, make sure to not use silicone-based lubricants with this toy, as it may damage the silicone it is made of.
Final Thoughts
It feels a bit like déjà vu, because just like with my review of the Share Satisfaction Coco, the biggest thing holding me back from falling head over heels for the Sutra is its controls. Unlike with that toy though, which was just a case of the buttons being poorly located, there is a set precedent that has been blatantly ignored here. U-style toys always come with a remote for very good reason, and the thing that makes this even weirder is that it seems the toy is designed to be used with one, because it’s the only reason for the inclusion of a power button and stand-by mode. Yet neither Share Satisfaction nor Bellesa include it, which is a real shame. As I said though, while the internal stimulation isn’t great, the suction pleasure all but makes up for these issues, and I can completely understand why the Sutra has become such a highly recommended sex toy online. Plus, unlike the Coco, which I felt was too expensive for what was essentially an ordinary stimulator, suction rabbits are much harder to come by, and this is a great cheaper alternative for those interested in a product like the Womanizer DUO. With this in mind, I’d definitely recommend the Sutra to anyone looking for a hands-free suction option that has the potential for G-Spot stimulation, but for anyone who would just like to try air pressure waves for the first time, I’d instead direct you to the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation as usual.

Good
A fine starter suction dual-stimulator that would just be so much better if it came with a remote.
