If we’re talking about sex toys that have managed to break through into the mainstream in recent years, it’s inevitable that names like the Rose Vibe and Satisfyer Pro 2 are going to come up. But another common answer, that I haven’t yet reviewed, has to be the AirVibe. Like the Rose, this white-label productA generic, mass-produced product that is regularly rebranded and sold to different companies, allowing them to all claim it as their own. is known by many names, but it was forever put on the map when ethical porn website Bellesa and the internet’s favourite time-waster Buzzfeed teamed up to release it together in 2020, and have since given away hundreds of copies for free, including a promotion that featured Cardi B. From that point on, I’ve been eager to get my hands on this toy to see what all the fuss was about, and so you can imagine my excitement when I found out New Zealand brand Share Satisfaction had acquired the toy as their very own Sutra.

Last week’s review was full of firsts. It was my first time reviewing a suction toy outside of those from the major brands, such as Satisfyer and We-Vibe, which was surprising considering they’re my favourite type of sex toy. Plus, it was my first real look at the suction rabbit trend, which has recently risen out of the brilliant success of the Womanizer DUO. So it must be fate, because entirely by coincidence it just so happens that this week’s review item from For Her Box is an almost identical product (I did say it was a big trend, after all!). But while the Sohimi Suction Vibrator offered four different forms of stimulation all within its small little body for the ridiculously low price of $38, the Irresistible Mythical is significantly more simplified yet much more costly, coming in at $165. Still, this is far from the beloved DUO’s $330, making the Mythical a perfect middle ground between the two toys. Whether that actually stays true during testing however… we’re about to find out!

Rabbits have always been one of the most popular types of vibrators. But with the rise of suction toys over the last five years, and the discovery that they too can be incorporated into this beloved dual-stimulator, things have gotten much more interesting. Toys like the Satisfyer G-Spot Rabbit and the Womanizer DUO have certainly led the way, to the point where there are now more suction rabbits than WOW Tech can file lawsuits for, but the biggest issue surrounding these toys as of yet is their high prices. After all, as much as I adore the absolute perfection that is the DUO, I do not expect that many people are willing to fork out $330 for the damn thing. So when Sohimi recently approached me and suggested I review their version, which is priced at just $38 (for those keeping track at home, that’s THREE HUNDRED LESS than the DUO), I was understandably apprehensive of how good it could be, but more than eager to find out!

It’s no secret that the last few months have been quite difficult, and if I’m being completely honest… I’m still not ready to accept that it’s no longer March. But there are a few things in my life that I’ve been able to turn to during the worst moments to feel a little bit of happiness, and some of those things have been sex toys. Three products in particular have been brightening my mood lately, with each lending itself to different situations. There is the Magic Wand Rechargeable, which works either solo or with my partner as an easy way to achieve a quick but satisfying orgasm, the Dame Kip, which helps me to have some amazing orgasms during PIV sex with my partner, and lastly the Womanizer Premium, a truly breathtaking solo-play toy which has quickly become my personal favourite. In fact, whilst it’s only been a few months since I originally reviewed the Premium, it feels like forever, and I think I’ve already had more orgasms with this toy than most people do in a lifetime. So, when Womanizer recently reached out to me and asked if I wanted to try their DUO, which is essentially an upgraded version of the Premium, it was just about the best thing that’s happened to me in months. I don’t think I’ve ever doubted a sex toy more than with the Satisfyer Pro G-Spot Rabbit (also known as the Satisfyer Pro + G-Spot), as soon as I saw it I thought it was a bad idea. I’m automatically suspicious of all rabbit style vibrators, because it can be so hard to find one that will actually suit your body. Companies who make them seem to assume the distance between the clitoris and vaginal opening, and if you don’t fit into that measurement, or the small window of flexibility that some offer, then you’re probably going to be down a hundred bucks and left with a vibrator you can’t use. Certainly if you find one that does suit your body then they can be amazing, and I have actually had some pretty good luck with the rabbit style vibes I have tried so far, but as a blogger I feel unprofessional recommending toys that I know probably won’t work for a lot of people, even if it does work for me. Then bring Satisfyer’s suction-style toys into the picture, a range of products that I have trouble placing on my clitoris when it’s the only thing I have to do… yeah, that doesn’t sound like the best match. But, Satisfyer do seem to continually prove me wrong and have produced nothing but astounding toys so far, so I thought I should at least give them some credit and try out their latest innovation, who knows, maybe it’ll surprise me.
