Wand massagers are the world’s most iconic sex toy, and for good reason. Their large size means they can house motors far bigger than the average vibrator, allowing for a power level that just can’t be matched. Combine this with an easy handle, making the product good for both solo and partnered use, plus the fact that many are now rechargeable for wireless play, and it’s easy to understand why these products are such an essential for any toybox. It was in 2017 that I first talked about how I just couldn’t get the idea of a rimming butt plug out of my head, and that has remained true until today. b-Vibe’s innovative first-of-its-kind rim job simulator was first released in 2016, acting as the launchpad for their now award-winning company, and was one of the products I featured in my Top New Sex Toys guide a year later. So even though I rarely review anal toys these days, with my last actually being on b-Vibe’s Snug Plug 2 in 2018, when COTR (the company that owns Le Wand and b-Vibe) recently reached out and asked if I’d like to review something from their collection, how could I not request the Rimming Plug Petite? Thankfully they were more than happy to oblige, and now here I am, finally reviewing what has remained the most exciting butt plug I’ve ever seen, even after seven years!

Going from never trying a grinder before to reviewing six of them at once last year in my Grinder Round-Up was certainly a risky decision, but one that I’m so glad I made, with this new style of sex toy being one of the highlights of 2022. Since then, I’ve reviewed three more, (the luxury Vibe Pad and innovative Godemiche Grind Ring in Pyramids and Bubbles), and with another three now on the way (Banana Pant’s Bumpher, Shagger & Honeybunch), this exciting new trend is showing no signs of slowing down. Of course, today’s review is also on a grinder, and this one is a real beauty. The Tentacle Grinder II from small business Uncover Creations is certainly a sight to behold, with its large singular tentacle protruding from the ocean depths that is its base.

Earlier this year I took a risk covering a new type of sex toy that could have easily just turned out to be a quick fad. But it paid off in spades, with my Grinder Round-Up not only being my most popular post of the year, but one of the most viewed posts on my blog of all-time, cementing the unique style’s place as the toy of 2022. Since then, the interpretations of what a grinder can be have only continued, and I’ve received multiple offers and requests to review more of them. I was more than happy to oblige, of course, and so you can expect to see a lot more of these rideable and lay-on toys at the blog soon. To kick that off, we have UK small business Godemiche’s version, which just so happens to be one of the first grinders I became aware of, and one that I originally intended to include in the Round-Up. But it looks like it all worked out for the best, because not only have Godemiche sent me two of their Grind Ring, but they’ve thrown in its V-Plate attachment as well!

An unexpected positive to how much time we’ve all collectively spent inside over the last few years, has to be the rise of the independent sex toy maker. But as these silicone artisans continue to elevate what we previously thought was possible, with dildos and other non-electrical toys available for the first time in a huge range of shapes, styles, and colours, it’s starting to make the bigger brands realise that we aren’t going to be satisfied with just flesh tones and pinks and purples any longer.
