Wand massagers are my second favourite type of sex toy (for a long time they were my first, until my love for suction toys finally won out), although until recently I hadn’t really reviewed that many. Over the last few weeks, however, I’ve shared my thoughts on a huge range of shapes and sizes, and all at a lower price point than I usually review. Last week’s post seemed to be a culmination of this, with it not only being my longest massager ever, but my cheapest, and it was pretty dang good too. But I’m not done yet, because this week I’m turning around and going in the opposite direction, with the smallest massager I’ve reviewed so far. In fact, the YoYoLemon Mini Wand is so small, I’m not even sure calling it a wand is appropriate. Thankfully size is the only big difference between this toy and the Funzze Massager, though, as at just $60 AUD / $40 USD it is still very reasonably priced.

Product Description
The YoYoLemon Mini Wand is a cross between a mini wand massager and a clitoral vibrator, and despite its name and appearance, I think the latter style is the closer relation. At just 8.7cm / 3.4″ in length, I wasn’t joking when I said this was small, and it’s almost hard to believe it’s a real sex toy and not just some novelty party gag. Of course, compared to bullet vibrators like the We-Vibe Tango X, it is fairly normal in size, so I suppose it is just the wand-like appearance that makes it seem so unusual. Because while it starts off looking like a bullet, it soon balloons out with an almost entirely spherical head, which has a diameter of 4cm / 1.57″. This is completely firm, as only a thin layer of body-safe silicone separates it from the plastic interior, and this lack of padding is also apparent when it comes to the neck, as it feels like there is nothing within the silicone to connect the handle to it except perhaps a small wire. Due to this, the head is very flexible, almost to a worrying degree, as it feels like it could just break if too much pressure is applied. Meanwhile, the handle features a single-button just above a wide strip of reflective plastic that lines its base, and at the very bottom of this is a hole for the toy’s charging cord. Then, whilst the Mini Wand apparently only comes in a light pink colour with a rose gold accent according to the YoYoLemon website, I actually received a light purple version with a silver accent, which is a strange and slightly concerning discrepancy. Finally, this toy is also fully waterproof and USB rechargeable.
Packaging
My order for the Mini Wand was placed with YoYoLemon on the 3rd of April and I received it on the 13th. The box was then 100% discreet as promised, with no mention of the sender or what was inside. Opening it up, I found the Mini Wand in the sort of fuss-free style packaging I’ve grown accustomed to from white-label retailers. A small textured black box with nothing on it, this is next-level discreet, while still having a sense of luxury about it. Opening it up, I then found the toy itself resting in a bed of black confetti, alongside its charging cord, brief instruction manual, and a storage pouch, which was a nice additional touch.
Charging
Charging the YoYoLemon Mini Wand is easy since it is USB rechargeable. Simply plug one end into a USB port and then the other end can be inserted directly into the base of the toy. When charging a light will flash, with this becoming solid upon completion, and it will take around one hour to give you between 35 to 60 minutes of use, which isn’t very long. In addition, YoYoLemon also recommends charging the Mini Wand before first use.
Controls
While the strange symbol on the YoYoLemon Mini Wand makes it look a bit like it has two buttons, there is only one, and this paired with its low number of speeds (as well as its size, obviously), is a big part of why I said this product is more clitoral vibrator than wand massager. To turn the toy on, simply hold down the button for three seconds, which will place it on its lowest steady speed. Continuing to click the button, there are then only two other speeds to enjoy, and after this you’ll be presented with six pattern modes. Once all nine settings have been cycled through, the toy will enter a stand-by mode before starting again, and to turn off the toy you can simply hold down the button again. Overall this system is simple but effective, and similar to many of my beloved smaller external vibes.
First Impressions
While great sex toys come in a variety of sizes, there’s a reason that bullet vibrators can’t really compete with wand massagers, and that’s because they simply don’t have the space to house as big a motor. So going into my review of the YoYoLemon Mini Wand, I wasn’t expecting to be comparing it to my other massagers. Turning it on, this was pretty much confirmed, with the vibrations being good, but not really that strong. Plus, the highest speed is quite buzzy, which is a shame. As for the noise level, this wasn’t great either, as while it’s certainly not the loudest I’ve heard, it may be a concern if total privacy is required. The upside though is that this is significantly reduced whilst in use, so it doesn’t hinder partnered play at all.
My Experience
Two problems present themselves when using the YoYoLemon Mini Wand. The first is the controls, or should I say finding them, because if you’re just going by touch then the only way to locate the single button is through the fact that it’s indented into the silicone. However, on the opposite side of the toy, are a bunch of legal symbols that are also in the silicone, and the two sides feel very similar. If the actual button was just raised to differentiate the two then that would have been great, but as it is, it can be a little bit annoying. The second is then the “flexible” head, which is really just a sphere that’s loosely attached with thin silicone to a handle. I was quite concerned by this, as not only does it seem like it would be tricky to get my desired level of pressure without a stable handle to guide it, but damaging it seems all too easy. Thankfully this wasn’t actually as bad as I imagined, as by using it with the handle directly above, I was able to avoid any real issues. But if you are the sort of person who likes to use their wands from the side or really make use of their flexible necks, it may still be a concern. Outside of all this, using the Mini Wand is actually very enjoyable. Whilst the vibrations are weaker and buzzier than what I am used to, they are still good enough to give me some highly satisfying orgasms after a short period of use. I don’t really get any sense that I am using a massager though, and even in use I feel that I am enjoying a clitoral vibrator, albeit one with an unusually rounded head.
Cleaning & Care
Cleaning the YoYoLemon Mini Wand is easy since it is waterproof and only intended for external use. Simply give it a wash in some warm soapy water, before rinsing and leaving to air dry. If you’ve gotten it particularly messy, you may also want to give the button and indented writing in the silicone a quick once over with a spare soapy toothbrush. Afterwards, you can store if however you wish, including in its provided storage pouch. Additionally, make sure to not use silicone-based lubricants with this product, as it may compromise the material it is made of.
Final Thoughts
I don’t want to call the YoYoLemon Mini Wand a mini massager. And not just because I’m being pedantic about terminology. But because as a massager, it’s rubbish. The vibrations aren’t strong enough, there are not enough steady speeds or control options, and its small head can’t engulf my clitoris like I expect it to. However, if you reframe the toy as a clitoral vibrator, all these “issues” suddenly tell a different story. As a clit vibe, three steady speeds and a single button to switch between them is the standard, and I don’t expect knock your socks off level vibrations or sizing. As a clit vibe, this is a great toy that I very much enjoyed playing around with, and while it’s probably not going to be winning any awards, for a low price of just $60 AUD / $40 USD at the time of writing, and paired with YoYoLemon’s fantastic free shipping, this is a brilliant deal for anyone looking to grab their first clitoral vibrator without skimping on quality.

Good
When looked at as a budget clit vibe, rather than a wand, this simple toy is a pleasure to use.
This post was sponsored by YoYoLemon, but as always, all opinions are my own.
That is the tiniest wand I have ever seen! It is a cute design, but I would worry about the wire connecting the head of the toy. That just doesn’t seem very durable.
It’s darling, but the buzz and button confusion would annoy me…
I’ve always avoided flexible heads because I assumed the bending would affect the connection durability…
