YoYoLemon Rabbit

Thrusting sex toys are experiencing a true renaissance right now, with both stretch- and accordion-styles currently being more popular than ever. In fact, the only style I haven’t reviewed this year, despite holding a special place in my heart as the method many of my early thruster toys used, is magnetic. So when YoYoLemon suggested a review of their magnetic thruster, the Rabbit, I was immediately on board. Of course, as you might have guessed from the name, this isn’t just a thruster, but a rabbit vibrator in its own right, with an external arm and dual motors. Plus, that’s not all, with YoYoLemon continuing the 4-in-1 trend that’s also so hot right now, meaning that just like many of my other recent reviews, this toy has the ability to heat up prior to use!

Product Description

The YoYoLemon Rabbit, or “Rabbit Vibrator for Women with 9 Thrusting and 9 Vibration Modes for Vagina G Spot and Clitoral Adult Sex Toys” as the YoYoLemon website calls it, is a dual-stimulator that also offers both magnetic thrusting and heating. It features a fairly standard design, with a thick yet tapered internal shaft and smaller external shaft, which is also super flexible to ensure it doesn’t restrict the thrusting movements. Texture is present on both of these elements, with a “fingerprint”-style circular pattern on the clitoral arm and a spiral pattern on the G-Spot arm. A handle then rests at the bottom of the toy, separated from the shafts by a thin strip of reflective plastic, and it is here you’ll find the Rabbit’s two buttons and magnetic charging plates (which are unfortunately quite sharp). The toy only comes in one colour, which is a mix between pink and purple, and although it does attract lint, the body-safe silicone it is made out of is otherwise silky smooth, with a small amount of cushioning in the main shaft. Finally, the YoYoLemon Rabbit is also fully waterproof and USB rechargeable, and even though it is anal-safe it is not intended for this kind of use.

Packaging

YoYoLemon Rabbit Packaging
The marks on the YoYoLemon Rabbit’s instructions were like that when it arrived.

My order for the Rabbit was placed with YoYoLemon around the 24th of August and I received it promptly on the 27th, which was fantastic. Plus, as always YoYoLemon has ensured the package is totally discreet, not mentioning the sender or what is inside. As for the toy’s box, this was also what I’ve come to expect from the white-label retailer, being totally blank, which not only further keeps things discreet but is a way YoYoLemon helps keep costs down. It’s also worth mentioning that whilst these fully black boxes may look a little strange and lack the giftable nature of their premium counterparts, they are easily reusable, making them far more environmentally friendly. Opening this up, you’ll then find the Rabbit resting in a bed of shredded black tissue paper, alongside its storage bag, charging cord and instruction sheet. In addition, YoYoLemon also provides their two year warranty with this toy.

Charging

YoYoLemon Rabbit charging

Charging the YoYoLemon Rabbit is easy since it is USB rechargeable. Simply plug one end into a USB port and then place the other end over the magnetic plates on the back of the toy. Do be careful to make sure the toy is charging before leaving it though, as the magnets can occasionally disconnect. Once on charge a light will begin to flash, with this becoming solid upon completion, and according to the YoYoLemon website it should take around two hours to give you a full battery, which when used should last around 50 to 90 minutes. However, the instructions tell a different story, listing the product as having a three hour battery life and also requiring three hours to charge. Additionally, YoYoLemon recommends charging the toy before first use.

Controls

Having just two buttons, the YoYoLemon Rabbit keeps its controls simple, sacrificing any comprehensive ability it might have had to adjust its four modes (external vibrations, internal vibrations, thrusting and heating). Intuitively labelled, holding down the button with the power symbol will turn the toy on and off, whilst the button with the zigzag will control both vibration motors at once. Nine vibration modes are present, three being steady speeds and six being patterns, and once on you’ll either need to turn the toy off entirely or click through to the end of the cycle to turn them off. Next, to activate the thrusting, you can press the power button again, and this also has nine modes, with the same balance between steady and patterns. Overall this all works well and is quick to pick up, but I do wish the two arms could be controlled independently.

Heating

I already thought this image was weird, since it’s advertising the heating but talking about how to control everything else. Yet things got even weirder when I went over the YoYoLemon Rabbit’s instructions, only to find they have zero mention of the toy’s supposed heating mode. The only thing that seems like it might be alluding to the mode is the line “do not use it at temperature over 167° F / 75° C”. This common type of warning typically relates to room temperature, but if the room got that hot I’m pretty sure I’d be dead. So it must be the heating, yet that begs the question, how would the product get so dangerously above its maximum temperature of 107° F / 42° C? Anyway, since I have no instructions for this, the only thing I could really do was turn it on and see if it heats up, and sure enough it seems that just being on is enough for the Rabbit’s “intelligent heating” to activate. Typically I would say this isn’t good, as you might not always want the heating mode on, but even after YoYoLemon’s recommended three minutes, it is barely warm, and absolutely nowhere near its advertised temperature. Then, after just five minutes in stand-by mode the toy automatically turns off, so if you were thinking of warming it up prior to use, think again. To be honest, if it wasn’t featured on the YoYoLemon website I wouldn’t have even realised this toy had a heating mode, and it seems more like they realised it got a little warm when turned on and decided to make it a feature. I could be wrong, but either way, this is easily the worst heating mode I’ve tried.

First Impressions

After the troubles with the heating function, I was a little worried what I’d find when testing the rest of the toy. Turning on its vibrations, they are indeed quite buzzy, but at least still fairly strong. Plus, the motors in the two arms seem to be the same, which is good as I’m not a fan of when rabbits have weaker vibrations in the external shaft. The worst part really is the noise, which is more rattly than a typical vibrator sound, and much more annoying. As for the thrusting, the magnetic-style is a little different to the thrusters I have tried recently, so allow me to go over it briefly. You see, rather than physically extending, as with stretch- or accordion-style thrusters, the YoYoLemon Rabbit uses magnets to propel itself, with the entire toy rocking back and forth on its own. And while it’s harder to judge the success of this style from just holding it, the Rabbit certainly seems to be performing well in this regard, with an additional upside to this being that it is far quieter than other forms of thruster. This then helps to balance out the noise of the vibrations, so even though this may be on the louder side for a dual-stimulator, for a thruster it is actually one of the quitest I’ve tested.

My Experience

YoYoLemon Rabbit external shaft
Flexible is an understatement. The YoYoLemon Rabbit’s external shaft is essentially hollow except for a small wire.

With a 1.32″ / 3.34cm diameter, the YoYoLemon Rabbit is thicker than the typical vaginal vibrator. Yet with its tapered tip and smooth silicone, insertion is easy. Now, the problem with this kind of toy is that it has a bit of an identity crisis: is it a dual-stimulator or is it a thruster? Typically thrusters will have straight shafts, you don’t want a curve poking into you repeatedly, whilst dual-stimulators will have curved shafts, to stimulate the G-Spot. It’s hard to do that with a straight shaft, but despite promoting itself as ideal for G-Spot play, the Rabbit has an almost entirely straight shaft. And sure enough, upon inserting it I can feel it offers my G-Spot nothing, which is a real shame, and makes me question whether dual-stimulator is an appropriate term here. But if we forget about all that, and just focus on the thrusting, things are far improved. While magnetic-style thrusters may not have the same range and force as other styles, they make up for it with their consistency. It’s always a relief to find a thruster where you don’t need to worry about it turning off if you insert it too deep. Plus, I know I’ve already mentioned it, but it’s so quiet compared to other thrusters, which really does make an impact on my enjoyment. While the vibrations may not be the best, they work well alongside the thrusting movements regardless, and I’m so happy to report that the external arm sits perfectly over my clitoris, with its flexibility ensuring there is no discomfort from it during use. With all this in mind, it’s all too easy to just lay back and let it do its thing, and the only effort you need to put in is a hand (or leg if you manage to prop it up right) to hold it in place.

Cleaning & Care

Since the YoYoLemon Rabbit is fully waterproof, cleaning it is easy. Simply soak it in some warm soapy water, before rinsing and leaving to air dry. I’d also recommend making sure all of the groves on the arms are washed out, as bacteria may hide here. Afterwards I’d suggest storing it in the provided pouch or a zip-lock bag to keep clean, as the silicone can attract dust. Additionally, make sure to not use silicone-based lubricants with this product, as it may compromise the material it is made of.

Final Thoughts

YoYoLemon Rabbit storage bag

There’s a reason I’ve only ever reviewed magnetic-style thrusters for premium brands in the past. Because, whilst accordion-style certainly has a few winners of its own, overall magnetic thrusters are the superior type. They solve the two biggest thruster issues, noise and slowing down or even stopping once any force is applied (including the normal force of the vagina, which seems like a pretty big oversight), and in this regard the YoYoLemon Rabbit is no different. Whilst its lack of G-Spot stimulation means I’m not sure the term dual-stimulator or even rabbit is appropriate here, it made up for it with its relentless internal thrusting paired with satisfying clitoral vibrations. And I suppose in this sense, it is a dual-stimulator, just not the type we usually talk about here. Truly, the biggest downside was simply the heating function, and the lack of any information on it within the instructions was truly strange. But even with that, it doesn’t change the fact that YoYoLemon have taken a premium type of sex toy, and have made it accessible for the very first time with a price tag of just $109 AUD / $70 USD. So, if you’ve always wanted to try this style of thruster or just want one that is reliable on a budget, this is going to be hard to beat.
