Review: Funzze Flower Tongue

It was a little over a year ago that I had the pleasure of reviewing the viral Rose Vibe. I had no idea what to expect from a toy TikTok had dubbed the “soul snatcher”, but it didn’t take me long to realise that this was no exaggeration. Since then, this white-label toy and its two siblings, which are now most commonly known as The Rose, The Bloom and The Kiss after US distributor NS Novelties acquired them for their INYA brand, have continued to gain popularity as their availability has soared. So, considering my love for “The Rose”, with it even coming in at Number 5 on my Top 10 of Sex Toys of 2021, it seemed only right that I review another one of these toys, and thanks to retailer Funzze that’s exactly what I’m doing today with The Kiss, or as they like to call it, the Flower Tongue.

Review: Womanizer Marilyn Monroe

Of the five core products in Womanizer’s current portfolio, there is only one I have yet to try. The Classic 2, which offers a step up from the Womanizer Liberty while not being quite as powerful as the Premium, has managed to elude my grasp so far. In fact, I had a similar experience with its predecessor, and when I finally did get one, it was sadly discontinued before I could review it. So when I recently heard Womanizer were bringing out a limited edition version of the Classic 2, and Lovehoney asked if I’d like to try it out, I was more than a little excited, not wanting history to repeat. However, the Womanizer Marilyn Monroe Special Edition has since proven to be quite the controversial release, with some fans of the late actress and model praising the German brand for honouring her legacy of empowerment, whilst others have condemned it, noting that her inability to consent to the use of her name runs parallel to the objectification she suffered during her lifetime.

Review: Godemiche Morpheus

We’re spoilt for choice these days when it comes to dildos. With new independent makers popping up around the globe every month, it often seems like there is now infinite variations of this classic sex toy. So whether you’re looking for a particular set of colours or a unique design, there’s a good chance you’ll find something out there to fulfil your fantasy (and if not, that’s what customs are for!). To celebrate that, today I wanted to take a look back at one of the OG micro-makers that started it all, and the first one that I ever purchased from all the way back in 2016. With their small range of tried-and-true products, UK brand Godemiche are well known for producing some of the most beautiful toys in the industry, with their masterful use of colour. So when they recently reached out to see if I was interested in reviewing a custom copy of their brand new dildo, Morpheus, how could I resist?

Review: Love to Love Dildolls Utopia

An unexpected positive to how much time we’ve all collectively spent inside over the last few years, has to be the rise of the independent sex toy maker. But as these silicone artisans continue to elevate what we previously thought was possible, with dildos and other non-electrical toys available for the first time in a huge range of shapes, styles, and colours, it’s starting to make the bigger brands realise that we aren’t going to be satisfied with just flesh tones and pinks and purples any longer. Rather, we want the same level of choice and innovation when it comes to dildos as with vibrators and suction toys. So, when I first saw the Dildolls range by French manufacturer Love to Love, I knew they got it, and it’s been no surprise to me that these eye-catching toys have since become such a sensation.
