There is one big problem with buying sex toys, or really anything, online. As an anxiety-driven person, I am 100% here for the comfort and luxury of shopping from my own home, and this has never felt so important as when I started buying adult products. But as with clothes, shoes, glasses, and anything else where a “fit” really matters, looking at toys such as vibrators and dildos online, versus in person, can be a bit misleading. I’ve made plenty of mistakes over the years due to incorrect assumptions of how large or soft an item would be (always read the description and measurements carefully, folks!), with some notable errors being when I thought the Tantus Splish would be a fully-sized dildo (rather than the size of my finger) or when I assumed for years that the Uberrime Tentare Tentacle was too thick for me to insert (despite it being a small bullet vibrator cover the whole time). But even after almost six years of doing this professionally, it seems I still haven’t learned. So today we’re taking a look at the Bestvibe Beinlove Tongue Rabbit, a product I thought would be a clitoral suction toy, but is instead a fully blown clitoral pump.

It’s no secret that the design aesthetic ZALO brings to this industry is one of my all-time favourites. In the four years I’ve been working with them they have not only consistently released some of the most beautiful electronics there is, but their innovative ideas and exemplary packaging have been unrivalled. From their Sweet Magic series, inspired by the beautiful anime magical girls I grew up watching, to their more recent Legend line, featuring ancient Egyptian design cues that speak directly to the history buff in me, I can’t say enough good things about the way ZALO present their products and brand. But there is something else I’ve brought up time and time again when speaking about their products, and that is that they always try to do too much, and rather than having a single product that can do one thing perfectly, they end up with a toy that can do many things averagely. In fact, my previous review for them was actually my most positive yet, and saw them enter my Top 10 of the year for the first time, despite the fact that it was the oldest toy I had tried so far, making me call for a return to their more simplified roots. So when I recently heard about their brand new Legend series toy, the BESS, I was all for it, but I can’t say I wasn’t worried!

All the way back in 2017, a company sent me two amazing products that were so unique that nothing again has ever quite compared. The company was Vibease, and the products were their flagship clitoral vibrator of the same name, and their rabbit vibrator Esthesia. There was a lot to like about these toys, from their strong vibrations to body-safe silicone material, but the thing that was special about them was Vibease’s app, which both products were compatible with. Not only was the app suitable for use in long distance relationships, but it also worked with Vibease’s erotic audio book series, meaning that the toy’s vibrations would increase or decrease in sync with what was happening in the book you were listening to. Perhaps the only downside to all of this however, is that these were Vibease’s only two products, so that once I had them there wasn’t anything new to get excited about. As such, you can imagine how I felt when I recently received an announcement from Vibease informing me that they were going to be releasing a whole new range, titled the Jewel Collection!

Review: ZALO Desire

ZALO Desire

In my recent review of the ZALO Amorette I spoke a lot about how I have adored the brand’s magical girl inspired line of toys, Sweet Magic, for years, and about how getting to try the latest addition to the range was a dream come true. But today’s review is even more special for me, because I’ll be taking a look at one of the original products from the range, and one that I feel like I’ve had my eye on forever. First released in 2017, but currently being re-promoted as ZALO continue to expand to the western market, the Desire is a true wish-list item for me and I was overjoyed when the brand asked if I wanted to review it. I’ll admit that its stunning appearance has a lot to do with why I wanted it so badly, as it looks more like a staff that one of the powerful anime girls from my childhood would wield rather than a sex toy, but there is a lot more to it than just that. As ZALO’s first thruster style toy, a toy type that I love but have yet to have much experience with, this product also boasts a self-heating function and turbo mode. Oh, and did I mention it’s also really cute?

After a lovely break over the last few weeks I’m feeling refreshed, recharged, and ready to get back to reviewing! So to kick things off I thought we’d take a look at a toy I teased a fair bit last year and that is the follow-up to my previous review featuring the Cosmopolitan G-Spot Romance. That’s right, it’s finally time for my review of the Cosmopolitan Enchantment Bullet, the second toy from the popular magazine’s new range that My Little Secret were kind enough to send me recently. Now, I quite enjoyed the G-Spot Romance, but the biggest issue I faced with it was that I felt its luxury price tag did not reflect what was essentially a very basic vibrator. The Enchantment Bullet on the other hand is a lot more reasonable, as with a price of $59.95 AUD / $42 USD this toy costs about the same, if not less, as a lot of other bullet vibrators of its kind. Still, after my review of the G-Spot Romance I couldn’t help but feel less than confident with the Cosmopolitan range, but that just made me even more eager to try out the Enchantment Bullet to see if it would be able to help renew my excitement for this brand. My favourite new sex toy trend this year, and it seems the entire internet’s, has to be the flicky tongue-like stimulators that appear to keep popping up out of nowhere. It seemed to all start with the Zumio back in 2017, which ZALO then put their spin on by making the moving element more like a silicone tongue. Since then I’ve seen countless other companies implementing this same idea for their own toys, with some going so far as to make the “tongue” literally move back and forth, and others just using vibrations to give the appearance of movement. These sorts of oral-sex imitators aren’t entirely new, but the renewed public interest has certainly been encouraging companies to develop new and exciting tech for it, which seems to go hand in hand with creating even wackier designs than usual. Two toys that have gone viral this year because of their hilarious looking (but also oddly seductive) flapping tongues are the Pipedream Fantasy for Her Ultimate Pleasure and the Blush Novelties Aria Flutter Tongue. So I knew I wouldn’t be doing my duty as a sex toy reviewer if I didn’t try at least one of them before the end of the year, and since Pipedream is on my blacklist, it had to be the Aria Flutter Tongue!
