As a reviewer I am always on the lookout for the next big thing, so that makes it really exciting when companies innovate and create new and interesting looking toys. Don’t get me wrong, I thoroughly enjoy testing old faithfuls such as G-Spot vibrators and dildos, but with those I have a pretty good idea of what to expect and how much I’ll enjoy something. With new toy designs however, it is a bit of journey into the unknown. Things could end up really really good, or really really bad, and I am venturing forth solo to uncover that truth. Then in comes SVAKOM, who are by no means a new brand in this industry, but up until last year I’ve never had any interest in trying out their generally unoriginal toy designs. What changed for me was the release of the SVAKOM Nymph, which caught the eye of many bloggers not only because of its unique design, but because of the weirdness of it. Since I wasn’t reviewing much last year due to poor health I didn’t end up getting one, but this year when SVAKOM announced their follow-up toy to the Nymph, the SVAKOM Siren, I was all over it. Luckily for me SVAKOM were kind enough to send both the Nymph and Siren out for review, so while this post focuses on the Siren, look out for my Nymph review coming soon!
The Brand
As I mentioned, SVAKOM are a brand I’ve been aware of for a long time, but I’ve never seen a product of theirs I was super interested in before now. This isn’t to say their products aren’t good however, as they have a great range of body-safe options to fit a range of tastes. Specialising in electronics, they primarily produce vibrators, from clitoral vibes and rabbits, from prostate massagers and vibrating cock rings. They are also the maker of the famous Siime Eye, the vibrator that doubles as a selfie stick to allow people to film inside of themselves, which you have probably heard of due the controversy that is is incredibly easy to hack. Since I’m not really in the market for a $250 USD vagina camera I only really became interested in the company when they released their Nymph last year, and then again when they recently released the Siren, so I was very happy when the company reached out and asked if I wanted to review for them.
Product Description
The SVAKOM Siren is very similar to their popular Nymph, with the main difference being that whereas the Nymph had three rotating ‘fingers’ on the end of it, the Siren instead has two tongue-like flaps. The double ended design then remains, which is what gives these two products a quirky doll-like look that you just want to stick googly eyes to. Featuring two buttons and the company logo in the middle of one side, and the charging port on the back of the other, the rest of this toy is just silicone, keeping things simple. Then, while the round end works as both a clitoral and G-Spot vibrator, it’s the other end that makes this toy special. These “tongues”, as SVAKOM call them, kind of look like the silicone on the end of the toy has been cut in half, however the inside of them is heavily textured with a ribbed style design. The purpose of these is to be placed over your clitoris, where they can quickly make flicking movements back and forth to stimulate you in a way that’s reminiscent of oral sex, which is a fairly new style of sex toy design similar to the ZALO HERO. The Siren only comes in one colour, Coral, which as Pantone’s colour of the year I think is an excellent choice. It then has all the features you’d expect from a good quality vibrator, being fully waterproof, body-safe, and USB rechargeable. Overall I love the Siren’s minimal design, and think the double-ended two-in-one function is a great idea, as it makes it super versatile. Being able to choose between two different forms of stimulation from one toy is always fun, and I can also imagine couples using this together by applying one end each.
Packaging
SVAKOM sent the Siren out to me around the 29th of July and I received it on the 5th of August. There was no mention of the sender on the box, however the package contents were listed as “hand held massager”, which may be an issue if privacy is important to you. I was then pleasantly surprised by the packaging for the Siren, as it is far nicer than I was expecting. The box features a well designed outer sleeve, which is minimal while still displaying a picture of the toy and its features. This can then be removed to find a simple white box which only features the SVAKOM logo, which would be a great way to discreetly store the toy. Inside of this the toy is beautifully displayed in a foam cut-out, and under that you can then find two booklets on the product warranty (it has a 1 year warranty and 10 year quality guarantee), two instruction manuals, a charging cable, and a drawstring storage bag. Everything about this packaging is very luxurious, and while the Siren is an expensive toy it is still cheaper than the items I usually experience such nice packaging for. As such this would make an excellent gift, and for me it was certainly a great way to start my experience with the product.
Charging
Charging the Siren is super easy. Just plug one end of the cord into a USB port and the other end into the hole on the back of the toy. When charging a light will then flash on the toy, and once fully charged this light will become steady. Charging should take 2 hours, and this will give you three hours of play time.
Controls
Controlling the toy seemed pretty simple to me at first since there’s only two buttons, that is until I read the instructions and realised I was actually doing it wrong! Basically, the two buttons on the toy control the two ends independently, so you can use them either separately or together. The button closest to the vibrating end controls that side, while the button closest to the tongues controls those, and to turn either of them on or off you hold down the buttons for 1.5 seconds. Strangely, when both ends turn on they begin at their middle intensity setting, which for the tongues is setting 2 out of 3, and for the vibrations is setting 3 out of 5. I rarely experience this with toys as they almost always begin at their lowest setting, and it is quite frustrating having to turn the toy down before I can use it every time. Then, to adjust the intensities of both ends you can click their respective buttons again, and this will let you cycle through their levels. The thing that I didn’t realise until reading the instructions however, is that the vibrating end of the Siren also has five pattern modes. These are accessed by double-clicking its button, and they also respond to the different intensity levels. I don’t think I’ve ever had a sex toy that could change its mode by being double-clicked before, and this is actually a pretty smart way to reduce the number of buttons while still keeping functionality, although you do need to be careful to not click too quickly when flicking through the intensities so you don’t change the pattern mode accidentally. There is also a travel lock, and this can be turned on and off by holding both buttons down for five seconds. Overall these buttons do work smoothly, but my biggest issue with them is that they take a frustratingly long time to turn the toy off (4 seconds), which for me is just annoying, but for others it may comprise privacy as it cannot be turned off quickly when needed.
First Impressions
When turning the SVAKOM Siren on for the first time I must admit I was not impressed by its vibrations, and worried if they would actually be able to bring me to orgasm. They are quite strong, but they are also very buzzy, which my clit generally doesn’t like. Then, moving onto the tongues I was actually pretty excited to see what these would be like as I only just recently finished testing the ZALO HERO, which uses the same sort of technology. I was quickly made unsure of this function on the Siren however, as while the HERO’s tongue could be seen to be physically moving back and forth, it seems that the Siren’s tongues are simply moving because they are responding to a vibrator inside of the toy, similar to using the HERO with only the vibrations turned on (which I did not enjoy). As such there isn’t as much swing width as the HERO had, and while there is an obvious change in the vibration intensities if you hold the body of the toy, these different levels don’t make much of an impact when it comes to being transferred through the silicone ends. One plus, however, to both of these aspects is that they are reasonably quiet, so the Siren might be a good toy if you need to keep your noise levels to a minimum.
My Experience
To test the Siren, I first tried out the vibrating end as this is a form of stimulation I am very experienced with. While my original assessment of the vibrations being buzzy was correct, I found that thankfully they were still strong enough for me to achieve a reasonably good orgasm without too much time or effort. Using the toy in this way is particularly good when I am using other insertable toys, as the soft silicone and rounded wand-like head means that it is far more comfortable to use in combination with these than bullet vibrators, and as such this is my favourite way to use it. I also found during my research on the toy that its vibrating end is designed to be used internally on the G-Spot, which is something I definitely did not expect. While I gave this method of use a try, it unfortunately did not work for me as it couldn’t reach my G-Spot, although this was unsurprising as toys generally need to have a curve, such as the Njoy Pure Wand and Jopen Key Comet Wand, for them to be able to hit my G-Spot.
Next I tried out the Siren’s tongue end, and this was, well…. a challenge. Placing the two ends on my clit definitely reminds me of the ZALO HERO, and if it wasn’t for my recent experience with that toy I would have probably taken quite a while to become accustomed to the feeling. I don’t find the sensations as intense however, even with the additional tongue, and in fact I think having two tongues lessens the feeling a little bit as it is not as pin-point. I also don’t find that the texture on the tongues do anything or add any additional stimulation. Despite this, using the Siren in this way feels really good, and I very much enjoy it until it gets to the point in my play session where I want to orgasm. That is where the challenge comes in, as while I find the tongues pleasurable, they simply aren’t strong enough to actually let me reach climax. After many long testing sessions I can at least say I was able to orgasm with this function once, but it definitely wasn’t worth the time it took. Due to this, I can only really use this side of the toy to warm up and for foreplay.
Cleaning & Care
Cleaning the SVAKOM Siren is easy as it is waterproof. Just wipe it down with some warm soapy water, rinse, and then leave to dry. You can then store it in the drawstring bag or box it came with. Make sure to not use silicone-based lubricant with this product, as it may react badly to the silicone it is made of, but if you do then first perform a spot test.
Final Thoughts
I had high hopes for the SVAKOM Siren and its super quirky versatile two-in-one design, but as soon as I turned it on for the first time problems started to arise. While the idea of the toy is solid, it is just let down by both of its motors being too weak and buzzy to make enough of an impact. Plus, if SVAKOM want to jump into this new realm of flickering oral sex imitators, then they need to be doing more than just making their silicone vibrate in order to compete with similar toys like the ZALO HERO and Zumio. For someone with a clitoris that isn’t as use to vibrators as mine is, then this toy may be a good option for you, but due to its expensive price tag I cannot say that this is a beginners toy. Still, even though I can’t see myself going back to the tongue end after this review, I really did enjoy using the vibrating end alongside penetrable toys, and will continue to use it in this way. Overall, I think SVAKOM are onto a good design here, so if they can just refine it a little and improve their motors then should be able to easily elevate the Siren to a product worthy of people’s toy boxes.
Sadly, the SVAKOM Siren has now been discontinued.

Good
A good idea but let down by two weak motors which do not reflect its luxury price tag.
