On August 9th 2019 at approximately 6:58pm my We-Vibe Tango was pronounced dead after finally losing its long battle with battery failure. It was a truly sad day, as even though I knew the end was near I still wasn’t quite ready for it, because I had yet to find a successor. The Nu Sensuelle Point was the obvious choice, and as my second favourite bullet vibrator it was more than worthy of taking over the Tango’s work. But it had health issues of its own to contend with, this time in the form of the buttons struggling to respond. So, instead, I put my hope in a new toy, the Hot Octopuss DiGiT, but despite strong vibrations I couldn’t help but feel its use was limited due to the restrictive finger band. As such it’s been a pretty dark time for me since then, but I got through it knowing that one day I would find a worthy replacement. So, when I heard whispers about an amazing new clit vibe I thought perhaps my time had finally come. At least I did until I heard who was making it… Dame Products.
Review: Lovehoney Desire Wand Vibrator
Wand massagers are easily one of my favourite, if not my absolute favourite, types of sex toys. The best toy I’ve ever tried is one of them, and while they aren’t as versatile as perhaps bullet vibrators or suction toys, you really can’t beat the orgasms you get with them. So it’s surprising to see that it has been well over a year since I last reviewed one. There isn’t really a good reason for this, but if I had to suggest one I would say that the wand vibrator industry has been a little quiet lately, and so there really just hasn’t been anything that has caught my eye enough to request it for review. This changed however, when Lovehoney contacted me last month about reviewing their brand new Desire App-Controlled Knicker Vibrator, and at the same time asked if there was anything else from their luxury Desire range I’d be interested in. It then only took one look at their store for my eyes to be instantly drawn to their uniquely shaped Desire Wand Vibrator.
Review: Lovehoney Desire App-Controlled Knicker Vibrator
Over the last month I’ve been taking a look at three of the hottest panty vibrators on the market right now, firstly in the hopes of understanding a toy I had little previous experience with, and secondly so that I’m able to confidently recommend one to my readers. So far I’ve looked at the Bestvibe Remote Wearable Vibrator, a remote control and budget-friendly toy which featured an internal arm for added G-Spot stimulation (not that it could reach mine), but was let down by weak vibrations and an excessive noise level, among other things. Then, there was the We-Vibe Moxie, a practically faultless vibe which could be controlled both by a remote and an app, and that would attach to your underwear magnetically. Now, we’ve finally made it to the last product in my round-up, and it’s the brand new Lovehoney Desire App-Controlled Knicker Vibrator. This version of the classic toy is different once again, as it only has an app for external control and also comes with a compatible pair of underwear. So as a fan of the Lovehoney toy range I’ve been super excited to try out this product for them, and to see how it fares amongst my other panty vibes!
Review: SVAKOM Siren
As a reviewer I am always on the lookout for the next big thing, so that makes it really exciting when companies innovate and create new and interesting looking toys. Don’t get me wrong, I thoroughly enjoy testing old faithfuls such as G-Spot vibrators and dildos, but with those I have a pretty good idea of what to expect and how much I’ll enjoy something. With new toy designs however, it is a bit of journey into the unknown. Things could end up really really good, or really really bad, and I am venturing forth solo to uncover that truth. Then in comes SVAKOM, who are by no means a new brand in this industry, but up until last year I’ve never had any interest in trying out their generally unoriginal toy designs. What changed for me was the release of the SVAKOM Nymph, which caught the eye of many bloggers not only because of its unique design, but because of the weirdness of it. Since I wasn’t reviewing much last year due to poor health I didn’t end up getting one, but this year when SVAKOM announced their follow-up toy to the Nymph, the SVAKOM Siren, I was all over it. Luckily for me SVAKOM were kind enough to send both the Nymph and Siren out for review, so while this post focuses on the Siren, look out for my Nymph review coming soon!
Review: ZALO HERO
Confidence is sexy. So when I received a press release from ZALO a few weeks ago that introduced themselves as “the leading luxury sex toy manufacturer” I was both surprised and intrigued. For a company who only branched out to the western market a few years ago, they are still considered by many the new kid on the block, that is if you even know who they are. ZALO’s products are beautiful and their packaging is exquisite, and even though I’ve only tried one of their toys, the Queen, I loved it. But “the leading luxury sex toy manufacturer”? That’s a bold claim. It is one, however, I expected them to at least be able to back up, and that is what got me first interested in the toy that the press release featured. It was HERO, their “newest and most advanced” toy yet, and as the second toy in their Legend series it was also the follow-up to the success of the Queen. Of course, with this I knew I had to get my hands on the HERO, and I was lucky enough to have ZALO and JOUJOU team up to send it my way.
Review: The Rabbit Company Come Hither Rabbit
If I had a bucket list of sex toys, a traditional style rabbit vibrator would have certainly been present on it until very recently. I’ve tried a few toys over the years that take their inspiration from the dual stimulation first pioneered by rabbits, such as the SenseMax SenseVibe, Adorime Rabbit and Vibease Esthesia, but until late last month I had never actually tried a design where the external arm included the classic rabbit ears, which is where the name stems from. So, in true reviewer style, after longing over one of these vibes for so long, when I finally get one I get two at once. The first was the Paloqueth Rabbit, which I reviewed last week, while today’s review is on The Rabbit Company Come Hither, which I received shortly after. Trying the two out at the same time was certainly interesting, as while they look very similar, they couldn’t be more different. While Paloqueth’s Rabbit is only a simple, low-budget vibe, The Come Hither is an expensive luxury toy with more than a few tricks up its sleeve.
