Womanizer Premium

It always surprises me that despite suction toys now being my favourite type of adult product, I have only ever tested one toy from the company who arguably invented the technology. In fact, even that toy I only got a few months ago, and while brand new at the time, the Womanizer X Lovehoney Pro40 ultimately was a re-release of one of Womanizer’s early products, and as such didn’t really do much to show me what the company is capable of now. Still, even with that it was good enough to make it on my Top 10 Sex Toys of 2019 list, which is no easy feat. Afterwards it was pretty clear what needed to be done, I had to get my hands on one of Womanizer’s newer products and finally find out what I’ve been missing out on. So, after much consideration of the brand’s impressive catalogue of toys, I decided to go with one of their latest releases and current flagship product, the Womanizer Premium. Plus, since it has just been re-released in two beautiful new colours, Blueberry and Raspberry, I was lucky enough to secure one of these for review!

The Womanizer Premium, as the name suggests, is the brand’s most advanced and thus most expensive suction toy (aside from the Womanizer DUO, but that is more of a dual stimulation vibe that also harnesses suction technology), and was originally designed as an upgraded version of the popular Womanizer Classic. In that regard it has a similar shape to the Classic, with a thin but long body, slight curve and defined edges. However, unlike the Classic, the Premium features a fully silicone body alongside reflective ABS plastic detailing, which heightens the toy’s luxurious nature by giving it sleek and sophisticated look. The toy’s controls, of which there are four buttons, as well as its magnetic charging port, indicator lights and Womanizer logo, are then all located on the opposite side of the suction hole, for which there are two removable silicone nozzle options for use. Then, in addition to the new Blueberry (which I have and adore) and Raspberry colours, the Premium also comes in Black, Red and White. Other than its beautiful looks, the Premium also has a few other key features that place it at the top of the food chain at Womanizer, most notably its Smart Silence, which I recently tried for the first time during my review of the We-Vibe Wand, and Autopilot features. Then, as with all good sex toys, the Premium is also fully waterproof and USB rechargeable.

Womanizer sent the Premium directly to me for review, and as such I won’t go into the shipping details. Even though this is technically my second product from Womanizer, my previous one was packaged by Lovehoney, who collaborated on the release, and as such I don’t have any prior experience with Womanizer’s packaging. However, since they are owned by the same company as We-Vibe, who have some of the best packaging on the market, and they are considered a luxury brand, I had some pretty high expectations. Thankfully I was not let down, as the Premium has some of the nicest and most luxurious packaging I’ve ever seen for a sex toy. I’d recommend checking out these photos for a proper look at everything, but essentially it is a high quality cardboard box featuring your chosen colour scheme for the Premium and a plastic window that allows you to view the toy prior to opening. There are then two magnetic doors attached to it, one that can be opened without breaking the security seals and which gives extra information on the toy, and then another which allows you to access where the toy and its accessories lie once opened. Other than the toy itself, the Premium also comes with its charging cord, what has to be the largest instruction manual I’ve ever seen (this is as it is very detailed and also in multiple languages), a high quality storage pouch, an alternative larger nozzle, and a business card with Womanizer’s signature “# I Masturbate” design on it. In addition to all of this the Womanizer Premium also comes with a 2 year warranty.

Womanizer Premium Packaging

Since the Womanizer Premium is USB rechargeable, charging it is easy. Simply plug one end into a USB port and then connect the other end with the magnetic plates on the toy, which have a great connection strength. When charging the three LED lights on the toy should light up in succession, and when the toy is fully charged they will light up at the same time. Charging should then take two hours and this will leave you with around 4 hours of play time, which is quite frankly amazing. Another neat charging related feature that the Premium offers is that when you turn it on, its battery level will be indicated by the lights (for instance two lights will turn on to indicate the battery is half-full, whilst all lights will turn on to indicate a full battery). This is the first time I have seen a feature like this directly on a toy and I’m obsessed with it, as it means you should never have to worry about this product unexpectedly dying on you mid-session like so many others do. In addition, Womanizer recommend charging the toy before first use and it’s also worth noting that the charging cord features the brand’s logo, which I love as it makes it easy to identify.

Controlling the Womanizer Premium is relatively simple and I went straight into using it with no issues, although for some features, including its Autopilot mode, you may need to check out the instructions for a full understanding. Essentially though there are four buttons on the toy, and these are labelled for easy use. There is the power button that is located near the LED lights, wave button that is located near the middle of the toy, and the plus and minus buttons that are located together and closest to the suction nozzle. To turn the toy on, first hold the power button down for two seconds, which will put you on the lowest suction speed. You can then use the plus and minus buttons to increase and decrease the suction intensity, for which there are 12 levels. The Autopilot function is designed to randomly increase or decrease the intensity of the toy automatically for you, and this can be activated by pressing the wave button. There are then 3 modes to the Autopilot function that vary in regards to the intensities they offer, to ensure they don’t become too much for you (since the higher suction levels aren’t for everyone), and these are Soft Mode (levels 1-4), Medium Mode (levels 1-8), and Intensive Mode (levels 1-12). Autopilot will start off in Soft Mode, so to activate the other two you can press the plus button once or twice, and for easy reference the mode you are on will be indicated by the LED display. Then, to turn off Autopilot you can then press the wave button again. Finally, to deactivate the Smart Silence you can hold down the plus and minus buttons for two seconds, and to turn off the entire toy you can hold down the power button for two seconds.

Womanizer Premium Charging

As with the We-Vibe Wand, I am extremely impressed with the Smart Silence mode on the Womanizer Premium. In case you missed that review, essentially it means that the toy’s motor only runs (even if it’s turned on) when the nozzle is touching your skin, allowing for it to be completely silent when not in use. I have found it to be a little more erratic than on the Wand, since every now and then the Smart Silence doesn’t seem to work or it activates when placed on things other than my skin, however this is likely due to the fact that the nozzle is more sensitive than the Wand’s head and also because the Premium is older than the Wand. Despite this though I have thoroughly enjoyed it and think the technology is far better utilised on a suction toy over a massager wand. This is as suction toys are far louder when not in use, as once the nozzle is sealed properly over the clitoris its volume is reduced significantly, and as such the Smart Silence essentially works to remove one of the biggest downsides to suction toys.

On that note, I wasn’t really sure what to expect with the Premium’s noise level, considering the only two WOW Tech (who own Womanizer and We-Vibe) suction toys I have tried have been at both ends of the sound spectrum, with the Womanizer X Lovehoney Pro40 being one of the loudest clitoral stimulators I’ve tried and the We-Vibe Melt being the quietest. While not as quiet as the Melt, the Premium is still surprisingly low in volume when its Smart Silence is turned off, and I rank it roughly in the mid-range compared to other suction toys I own, being quieter than the Womanizer X Lovehoney Pro40 but louder than the Satisfyer Pro Plus Vibration. While this may usually be a problem, the Smart Silence definitely makes up for it, especially since it isn’t as loud once a seal has been achieved, and so I believe this toy would be fine to use when trying to be discreet.

Womanizer Premium

Upon turning the toy on for the first time, it was immediately clear that the suction strength it contains is something special. While judging these sorts of toys prior to actually using them is tricky, the way the Premium almost sticks to my finger when I try placing it over the nozzle is something I’ve only ever experienced with one other suction toy before, and that was the We-Vibe Melt, which I currently rank as my most powerful clitoral stimulator. However, this may also have something to do with the superb nozzles that both of these toys use, as they both feature wide openings that taper inwards alongside bevelled edges for increased comfort during use. Unlike the Melt however, the silicone on the Premium’s nozzle is not very soft, and so further cushioning here is not provided. In addition, the Premium also comes with a secondary larger nozzle, which is designed for those who find the regular one too small. When first I heard this I imagined a larger opening, however the actual difference between the two is the length, so it would be more beneficial for longer clits rather than wider ones.

2019 was the year of the Satisfyer Luxury. Even though I tried so many good suction toys last year, nothing could come close to my obsession with it (even when I announced that the We-Vibe Melt was more powerful), and as such it took out the top spot in my Top 10 Sex Toys of 2019. But now the Luxury’s reign has finally ended, because 2020 is the year of the Womanizer Premium (or at least it is for now). Typically I keep my opinions about the toys I review quiet until I publish my thoughts, but if you follow me on social media you’ll know I just couldn’t resist posting again and again about my love for this toy. With the suction intensity of the Melt combined with the rumbliness of the Luxury, the Premium outdoes them both, and in the short time I’ve had it it has easily become my most used toy. Orgasms with it are then so quick I barely get time to think, and they are extremely satisfying and intense, so much so I would say they are some of the best I’ve ever had. Then, the fact that the toy makes multiple orgasms so easy is another huge win, and using it is honestly pretty addictive. Plus, the Smart Silence means it’s very discreet to use, which I love when I’m trying to keep my noise down. In regards to the Autopilot, I must admit I prefer to control the toy on my own, especially as I enjoy edging, but it is a nice way to switch things up every now and then. Additionally, I don’t find there to be much of a difference between the sensations from the two nozzles, so having this alternative is really only handy as a extra nozzle in case you misplace one or if you require a larger size, which I don’t.

Womanizer Premium Accessories

Cleaning the Premium is easy. Just remove the silicone head, wash it in warm soapy water and rinse. If the body of the toy is dirty too then the whole thing can be placed and washed in the water as well since it is waterproof. Then leave these to air dry and reassemble, which is very easy since, like my other Womanizer toy, the nozzle on the Premium has a small circle to indicate which way up it is supposed to be placed. Once dry you can then return the toy to its storage bag. Since the Premium is made out of silicone ensure you don’t use silicone based lubricant with it. Furthermore, I have found prolonged use of the toy can make my clitoris quite sore the next day, so I wouldn’t recommend using it excessively if you are planning on having any rigorous sex or further masturbation within the next 24 hours.

Going into my review of the Premium I knew it would be good considering it is Womanizer’s flagship product, but I had no idea just how good it would be. I’ve been reviewing suction toys for almost five years now and have gone through so many favourites in that time, because I keep thinking things like “this feels amazing! Surely it couldn’t get any better!?”, and yet sex toy companies just keep on proving me wrong and taking these toys to another level again and again. After testing the Satisfyer Luxury and We-Vibe Melt last year I truly felt that the bar couldn’t be raised any further, but after experiencing the Womanizer Premium I know now that there is no limit. Far more intense than the Melt yet with the deeper rumbly-like feeling I loved so much from the Luxury, the Premium is unquestionably the best clitoral stimulator I’ve ever tried, making it the first time that title has gone to a brand other than Satisfyer. As such I wholeheartedly recommend the Premium if you’re looking for a suction toy, however its one downside may be its price, so if this seems too steep for you then the far cheaper Melt and Luxury are still brilliant options.

The Womanizer Premium has now been discontinued to make way for the upgraded Premium 2. But you can still get it for just $299.95 AUD at Lovehoney Australia or $199.99 USD at Lovehoney US, plus use my code HONEYX10 to get 10% OFF your total order!

  1. We have a Sona Cruise and a couple different Satisfyer suction toys and love them. We don’t have anything from the Womanizer stable…yet.
