If there is any product I am most weary of trying these days, it would have to be rabbit vibrators. It’s not that I have anything against them, but just that out of all other sex toys they have the biggest capacity for failure. Designing a product that stimulates both the clitoris and G-Spot perfectly is no easy task and one that I wouldn’t wish on anybody, since the distance between these two lauded stimulation points can vary so much between bodies. Toys like this need to be both flexible, in order to work for as many people as possible, and firm, so that enough pressure is applied to achieve pleasure, and that’s before you even start to consider the amount of power required in both arms. Due to all this, it takes a lot for me to put my faith in one of these toys enough to test it for review, especially since my G-Spot is typically not friendly to vibrators in general. So, when Rocks Off recently contacted me about their latest dual stimulation vibe, I wasn’t interested at first, but that was until I read a bit further into it… because the Regala isn’t just your typical G-Spot and clitoral vibrator, but rather an A-Spot and clitoral vibrator!
Review: Hot Octopuss AMO
One of my most anticipated products to review in 2019 was the Hot Octopuss DiGiT. As one of my favourite manufacturers, primarily due to their ability to harness powerful yet rumbly vibes in their sex toys, the announcement that they were going to release their first clitoral vibrator was a big deal. It was well worth all the fuss too, because the DiGiT was one of my favourite toys of the year, coming in at Number 8 on my Top 10 Sex Toys of 2019 list. But whilst the vibrations were certainly there, I did have a little bit of an issue with the non-removable finger band the toy featured. While one of the main design features, so I can’t really fault it, I did find it restricted my use of the toy, and also mentioned that it might pose a greater issue for others, for instance those who are left-handed. As such, I suggested an upgrade to the DiGiT where the band could be removed, or alternatively a version without the band at all, as a fix. So, as Hot Octopuss are a fantastic bunch who actually listen to reviewer feedback, here we are again with the brand new AMO, a toy that’s very similar to the DiGiT… just without the band!
Review: Lovehoney Desire Wand Vibrator
Wand massagers are easily one of my favourite, if not my absolute favourite, types of sex toys. The best toy I’ve ever tried is one of them, and while they aren’t as versatile as perhaps bullet vibrators or suction toys, you really can’t beat the orgasms you get with them. So it’s surprising to see that it has been well over a year since I last reviewed one. There isn’t really a good reason for this, but if I had to suggest one I would say that the wand vibrator industry has been a little quiet lately, and so there really just hasn’t been anything that has caught my eye enough to request it for review. This changed however, when Lovehoney contacted me last month about reviewing their brand new Desire App-Controlled Knicker Vibrator, and at the same time asked if there was anything else from their luxury Desire range I’d be interested in. It then only took one look at their store for my eyes to be instantly drawn to their uniquely shaped Desire Wand Vibrator.
Review: Lovehoney Desire App-Controlled Knicker Vibrator
Over the last month I’ve been taking a look at three of the hottest panty vibrators on the market right now, firstly in the hopes of understanding a toy I had little previous experience with, and secondly so that I’m able to confidently recommend one to my readers. So far I’ve looked at the Bestvibe Remote Wearable Vibrator, a remote control and budget-friendly toy which featured an internal arm for added G-Spot stimulation (not that it could reach mine), but was let down by weak vibrations and an excessive noise level, among other things. Then, there was the We-Vibe Moxie, a practically faultless vibe which could be controlled both by a remote and an app, and that would attach to your underwear magnetically. Now, we’ve finally made it to the last product in my round-up, and it’s the brand new Lovehoney Desire App-Controlled Knicker Vibrator. This version of the classic toy is different once again, as it only has an app for external control and also comes with a compatible pair of underwear. So as a fan of the Lovehoney toy range I’ve been super excited to try out this product for them, and to see how it fares amongst my other panty vibes!
Review: Womanizer X Lovehoney Pro40
Let me take you on a journey… It’s 2015 and baby sex toy reviewer Grace has just made her blog and is starting to get a good understanding of the adult industry. But then something happens that sends shock waves throughout the reviewer community. An innovative new type of sex toy is released that boasts “suction” technology, from a brand with possibly the worst name ever. Everyone wanted to hate the Womanizer W100, not only because of the name, but also due to its horrendous design and outrageous price tag, but those who tested it found that it was actually surprisingly good. Then came along another company with the similarly stupid name of Satisfyer who copied this new technology, but by offering it for less and using better designs, they quickly became more popular than the original. Subsequently, in 2016 Womanizer clapped back with the release of their Pro40, which used a more stylish and budget-friendly version of their tech, evening the playing field and winning over hearts once more. These days suction toys are everywhere, but this is the original feud that catapulted the tech into what it is today, and the battle between these two brands continues. Yet as Satisfyer keep cutting costs while still somehow producing good quality products, Womanizer’s more luxury-style toys have seemed to fall behind once more, especially with the discontinuation of their popular Pro40. So when Lovehoney announced their collaboration with Womanizer to bring the Pro40 back a few weeks ago, you can imagine the fanfare it was met with.
Review: Hot Octopuss DiGiT
This may be an unpopular opinion, but I often feel like clitoral vibrators are the most boring of all the sex toys. Don’t get me wrong, I love them, and if I was forced to give up every sex toy type but one, I’d probably keep them over everything else. But, whereas G-Spot vibrators, wand massagers, and dildos come in all shapes and sizes, clitoral vibrators are generally all the same. Even when they look special and different, like my recent review of the Blush Novelties The Collection Sweet Bunny, they are still essentially the same underneath it all. I’ve also found them to be the most temperamental of all sex toys, as my two favourite clit vibes, the We-Vibe Tango and Nu Sensuelle Point, are both faulty and barely work most of the time. I am in desperate need for a new good quality vibe that won’t break on me, is that really too much to ask? Apparently so, as my cries about this have gone unanswered for a long time. That is, until now, with Hot Octopuss’s brand new clitoral vibrator, which is aiming to be one of the best yet.
