Last week’s review was full of firsts. It was my first time reviewing a suction toy outside of those from the major brands, such as Satisfyer and We-Vibe, which was surprising considering they’re my favourite type of sex toy. Plus, it was my first real look at the suction rabbit trend, which has recently risen out of the brilliant success of the Womanizer DUO. So it must be fate, because entirely by coincidence it just so happens that this week’s review item from For Her Box is an almost identical product (I did say it was a big trend, after all!). But while the Sohimi Suction Vibrator offered four different forms of stimulation all within its small little body for the ridiculously low price of $38, the Irresistible Mythical is significantly more simplified yet much more costly, coming in at $165. Still, this is far from the beloved DUO’s $330, making the Mythical a perfect middle ground between the two toys. Whether that actually stays true during testing however… we’re about to find out!
Review: Sohimi Suction Vibrator
Rabbits have always been one of the most popular types of vibrators. But with the rise of suction toys over the last five years, and the discovery that they too can be incorporated into this beloved dual-stimulator, things have gotten much more interesting. Toys like the Satisfyer G-Spot Rabbit and the Womanizer DUO have certainly led the way, to the point where there are now more suction rabbits than WOW Tech can file lawsuits for, but the biggest issue surrounding these toys as of yet is their high prices. After all, as much as I adore the absolute perfection that is the DUO, I do not expect that many people are willing to fork out $330 for the damn thing. So when Sohimi recently approached me and suggested I review their version, which is priced at just $38 (for those keeping track at home, that’s THREE HUNDRED LESS than the DUO), I was understandably apprehensive of how good it could be, but more than eager to find out!
Review: Lovehoney Fifty Shades of Grey Greedy Girl
As a sex toy reviewer I feel like I’m always looking at new releases and trying to discover that next big thing, but if we were going to talk about products that have stood the test of time to be well loved years after their launch, then I’d be remiss to not mention Lovehoney’s hugely popular Greedy Girl from their Fifty Shades of Grey line. The UK retailer’s collaboration with the best-selling book series is one of their most notable collections, but no product from it has ever quite come close to the cult-status that this classic black rabbit has acquired. For years now I’ve watched it consistently rank as one of Lovehoney’s best selling products, and to be perfectly honest I always just assumed it was because of the FSOG craze, and nothing more. But with the film adaptations over, and the books celebrating their 10th year anniversary, the fad may be gone but the Greedy Girl’s sales have shown no signs of slowing down. So today, with the help of JOUJOU, I think it is finally time to see what all the fuss is about!
Review: Lora DiCarlo Filare
One major wish of any sex toy company (at least I would assume) is to break through into the mainstream. After all, every brand wants to be known, and for a industry that is constantly blocked from advertising, social media, and anything else of value, achieving this feels like playing a game that has been rigged against you. There are companies that have come close, of course, but honestly I don’t think any one brand can truly claim the title of being public knowledge in the same way that OnlyFans seems to have recently become. Out of them all though, it is a company called Lora DiCarlo that has recently begun to lead the charge with the passion that only a new brand could muster, and in the short time they’ve been around they have already made a lasting impact on this industry. So, when For Her Box recently reached out to me about reviewing their Filare clitoral stimulator, I couldn’t have been more excited.
Review: Lovense Lush 2
After such a long year, it seemed only right I started 2021 off with one of my most anticipated reviews. In fact, not only has this particular item garnered a lot of attention since I announced I was testing it, but it has also been one of my most requested toys for years now. The Lovense Lush 2 was sent to me by the wonderful folks over at JOUJOU, and was the hotly awaited follow-up to the legendary Lush vibrator. But even though this upgrade came out all the way back in 2018, it remains one of the most popular sex toys out there. Why? Well, even if you don’t know anything about sex toys, chances are you’ve seen this one before, because it is absolutely massive in the cam performers community. Visit any cam site and you’ll immediately see it featured on the streams of countless performers (just look out for the little pink string), as they all take advantage of the product’s integrated room features and token-based vibrations. But while it’s obvious that Lovense have made their toy almost a necessity for streamers, what I’m left wondering is whether it’s actually worth it for the rest of us.
Review: Womanizer Liberty
I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but my only two reviews of Womanizer’s core products so far have been of their most expensive items. As great as this has been (in a “best orgasms of my life” kinda way), I worry it has given me a false sense of how good their products really are, and it’s also been hard to recommend such pricey items to people, especially when I know full well that without this blog I wouldn’t be able to afford them either. So, it’s because of this that lately I’ve been eyeing the rest of Womanizer’s somewhat small range, particularly their most affordable offerings (which are still really mid-range in terms of price) the Starlet 2 and Liberty. I wasn’t fully set on which I’d prefer, but whilst in the process of finding a company to partner with for the review, something major happened. Womanizer announced they’d teamed up legendary singer Lily Allen to bring out a very special edition of the Liberty… and that’s when I knew I had to have it.
