When I first started reading sex blogs and toy reviews many years ago, there were a few products that would consistently be referenced across all of my favourite websites. They were things like the Njoy Pure Wand, Vixen Creations VixSkin Mustang, and Magic Wand Rechargeable, legendary toys that continue to maintain a cult following even today. But the main toy that I kept hearing about over and over again, regardless of what the actual review was about, was the versatile We-Vibe Tango. Widely regarded as the most powerful bullet vibrator on the market, it wasn’t long before I got one of my own and fell madly in love with it just like everyone else. A marvel of simplicity mixed with raw power, We-Vibe’s unrelenting lipstick-shaped ABS plastic was the perfect vessel for rumbly vibrations that were ahead of their time, and the fuss-free design complimented them perfectly. But it had a dark secret, with a battery life that was unable to meet the demand its users placed on it. I’ve spoken to people who have owned over ten Tangos in order to get their fix, but when mine died back in 2019, that was it for me, and eventually I found a replacement in the Dame Kip. Since then though I have been just wishing We-Vibe would fix this issue and re-release it, and so when JOUJOU got in touch recently to let me know that was exactly what was happening to celebrate the toy’s 10th birthday, I couldn’t have been happier.

Review: Femme Funn Versa Bullet & Sleeves

Last time at the blog we were taking a look at sustainability in the sex toy industry and what products are currently making a difference, namely the new Lovehoney X Love Not War Amore. Designed as a modular toy so you only need one set of electronics across the entire range (even if it’s currently not being sold as such), Love Not War aimed to reduce both the waste and cost associated with their toys. But while it may not look as fancy, the idea of being able to take one core toy and then transforming it into a range of different styles has been around for years thanks to sleeve attachments. This concept has always intrigued me personally, but aside from the fairly out there Uberrime Tentare Tentacle, there is a distinct lack of reviews for them at my blog. Why? Well I have given these sorts of things a go at conventions and stores, and I’ve always been seriously unimpressed at just how well the vibrations transfer through. But when I heard Femme Funn, makers of the popular Ultra Bullet, were releasing their own version named the Versa earlier this year, and For Her Box offered it to me for review, I figured it was time to finally give bullet sleeves a proper go.

After a lovely break over the last few weeks I’m feeling refreshed, recharged, and ready to get back to reviewing! So to kick things off I thought we’d take a look at a toy I teased a fair bit last year and that is the follow-up to my previous review featuring the Cosmopolitan G-Spot Romance. That’s right, it’s finally time for my review of the Cosmopolitan Enchantment Bullet, the second toy from the popular magazine’s new range that My Little Secret were kind enough to send me recently. Now, I quite enjoyed the G-Spot Romance, but the biggest issue I faced with it was that I felt its luxury price tag did not reflect what was essentially a very basic vibrator. The Enchantment Bullet on the other hand is a lot more reasonable, as with a price of $59.95 AUD / $42 USD this toy costs about the same, if not less, as a lot of other bullet vibrators of its kind. Still, after my review of the G-Spot Romance I couldn’t help but feel less than confident with the Cosmopolitan range, but that just made me even more eager to try out the Enchantment Bullet to see if it would be able to help renew my excitement for this brand. At this point in my sexual journey I am pretty good at picking out adult toys that I am going to like. I know what brands and retailers I can trust to provide good quality products, and I know what types of toys I enjoy. In fact, I know what sub-types of toys I enjoy, and what sub-types of those sub-types I enjoy. When you’re a reviewer you have to analyse each product you try, which lets you pick up on things that most people wouldn’t even notice, and in turn you really get to understand your preferences when it comes to your own sexual pleasure. So, due to all this I’m usually pretty careful when choosing toys. But there is just one thing that always ruins this otherwise foolproof plan for me… One thing that I just can’t resist! Cute toys. And Blush Novelties’ new Sweet Bunny Classic Slim Vibe from their The Collection range is one of the cutest I’ve seen for awhile.

Rocks Off Unihorn Stardust

I love working directly with manufacturers. Not only does it mean I get to work alongside the people who actually make the product, but it can also mean I get access to brand new products that might have not even hit the stores yet. So, recently when I saw Rocks Off put out a call for reviewers for their newest toy range, I was super eager to be a part of it. I was then lucky enough to get chosen, and sent a list of items to choose from. This was a tough decision, but ultimately my love for clitoral toys won out, and I requested the Rocks Off Unihorn and Purple Heart, two fantastic looking clitoral vibrators. Today I am just reviewing the Unihorn, but look out for my Purple Heart review in the coming weeks.
